Your campsite was totally awesome! Beautiful forest. And the lake... just gorgeous. I loved hearing the owls and seeing the otters. Thank you for the camping trip. I really enjoyed tagging along.
The reason I started following you in the first place is your sense of wonder. Seeing the lake- "wow!". Stooping to see the red spotted salamander- one of my favorites! Checking out a mushroom- because it's there. This is why I keep coming back. This is how I do my hiking as well. Continue to enjoy and share with us! Thank you!
Nice video. So relaxing to watch your camping trips. I’m glad you got to visit a new state. It’s really pretty there. I didn’t know otters were that big !
Wow how exciting seeing otters in the wild. What a gorgeous area, being so close to the water was fantastic. Really loved that thanks Cliff. Thanks for taking me along, please be safe and take care
I loved everything about this video. I'm glad you chose a site on the lake also. I'm happy for you that you are getting to venture beyond your home state. Travel safely!
I feel ya on watching AT thru hikers. This year I've been following the YT channels "Hiking Dancer" and "Hiking with Nat" on their AT 2022 thru hikes. Juliane (Hiking Dancer) has less than 200 miles to Katahdin/Baxter Peak. Nat and Daisy did their thru hike in just 159 days!
I have a reservation for Willow leanto oct.4- i live in central n.y. and have camped in Oct. there the last three years. The site you have i looked at last year. Woodford is a very nice park, the highest elevation park in Vermont. Another nice park is Coolidge st. prk. a bit north.
Love that camp ⛺️ the lakeside trail was really nice, ever try apple or cherry pie filling inside your mountain pies? 🥧 So far Turkey Gobbler mountain pies are the family favorite.
OMG so Awesome I love your camping videos. Nothing like a bright moon lit night when the moon shines down on a beautiful lake. In the morning having a cow Elk and the calf drinking from the lake. Also to hear a bull Elk bugling, I love otters, chipmunks other wildlife 😉💕😎
Hi Cliff, a shame I didn't know about the Vermont part of the trip to Bennington because I watch a fellow youtuber called Brad, he has a metal detecting channel that is based in the mountains near him, his channel is called GMMD or Green Mountain Metal Detecting. He is a super nice guy with a young family, I bet if you had contacted him he would do a hiking collab or metal detecting collab with you. A beautiful lake and a beautiful area, A little tip, to make things last longer, such as the organic pineapple, before you close the bag get most of the air out first. You reminded me of a cute little squirrel when you were trying the mini granola's lol. Such a stunning place, that has to be the best place you have camped to date. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
Those tuna melts sure look good I'm going to make that for lunch tomorrow I couldn't read the last word on your T-shirt. It would have been nice to know what the temperatures were like evening and daylight. We still have temperatures in the 60s at night and '80s in the days but I would imagine in Vermont it's already down into the high 40s and '70s
Hi question-I'll be going to Stony fork creek campgrounds in wellsboro pa,and visiting the Grand Canyon when there. Have you gone to either and if so made a video? I'd like to watch. Also if not-maybe you can make it your next trip and do a video would love that before we go in June.

You should see that park with the leaf change in Oct.
Great video! Those were wax gills fungi and hobble berries.
I recognized that the berries were in the viburnum family, but I didn't know their common name. Thanks!
Nice hike :) I love your northamerican woods.
Just found you, are you a historian, biologist, or "just" a woodsman?
Smoke from your fire usually keep mosquitoes away 😉
Not quite true in pacific northwest ! Mosquitoes is a big pain !
What a beautiful place !
@@glennjudd2467 I come from Colorado and it does work there

Welcome to our great state.
killington and woodstock are beautiful!
I wish I could wander like you but it's fun watching your adventures
Use spray coconut oil instead of Pam. its probably healthier. Thanks for your channel !
What a nice campsite, I’m assuming you don’t get a lake view from all the sites though?
Those tuna melts sure look good I'm going to make that for lunch tomorrow
