    You'd be surprised how simple the other videos weren't.. Appreciate you making this video.. Way clearer than the other 27 I looked at over the last 3 months out of curiosity..

    There's a lot of good information on putting together a pressure washer setup including plumbing, so keep looking and good luck

    Got to the point right away. Appreciate that. I’m not on here to watch a guy talk for an hour. Sub’d

      We do our best to go straight to the point.
      I myself hate attending a class with 2 hours of fillers and 15 minutes of useful information.

    Do you need a booster pump to feed the pressure washer from the tank? Or if the pump is belt driven it would feed itself (not sure why belt driven are better suckers than shaft driven?
    Great video thanks!

    I have two comments for you:
    Always install a safety pressure valve on pump, in case of unloader fails.
    Second: wip line in better in 1/2 inch...

      @TXcommercialwash  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      After we have been doing this for 39 years we have found the safety relief valve are unnecessary for machines tied to a tank.

    Just to make sure I heard that right, so you use a 3/8 size hose on the reel that would attach the wand and surface cleaner to?

    What are the water blocks used for before the unloader%? I see people using them on both side pump and after

    Hi,
    I have a few questions and I hope you can help.
    1. What brand / model unloader valve did you use on the 8 gpm?
    2. Did the unloader have a 3/8 or 1/2 inlet? Does it make a difference?
    3. On your water tank did it you use the original 3/4 bulkhead that comes with the tank? Or did you install a 1 inch?Just asking because it looks like the tee was larger after the filter.
    Thanks

      1. Vrt3 unloader washmart.com/products/vrt-3-black?_pos=2&_psq=vrt&_ss=e&_v=1.0
      2. 3/8
      3. The tanks generally have 1 or 2 inch bulkheads. The smaller tanks may have a 3/4" or 1/2" bulkhead but generally once you hit 100 gallon tanks they are 1 inch.

    This style unloader valve, do you have too adjust it for pressure when starting the motor? Or is it preset? I’m not familiar with this type of unloader. Thanks for helping!

    • @TXcommercialwash
      @TXcommercialwash  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is preset when we build the machine. When you get a new unloader to install on your existing machine we have a video that shows you how to adjust it.

    Does the pressure washer pump the water from the tank or is it gravity fed?

    • @TXcommercialwash
      @TXcommercialwash  ปีที่แล้ว

      It pumps from the tank, no gravity feed required with belt or gear drive machines.

    What size inlet hose from the tank for a 4gpm would you recommend? 3/4-3/4?

    • @TXcommercialwash
      @TXcommercialwash  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For a 4 gpm your threading is likely half inch, so the largest barb that will make sense is a 3/4" since they have identical ID (inner diameter).

    So what size is the hose from the bottom filter outlet into the pressure washer. Is it a 1 inch hose? i have a 5.5g

    • @TXcommercialwash
      @TXcommercialwash  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The inner diameter of a 5.5 pump is generally half inch threaded. Which means you want to use a 3/4” barb x 1/2”MPT. The inner diameter of a 3/4” barb x 1/2” MPT is the same and will have no flow restriction.
      If you run an 8 or 10 gpm size it up to 1” barb x 3/4” MPT. Same principle, different size.

    • @Jizzafy
      @Jizzafy 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TXcommercialwash Okay great thank you. I had a feeling the 5.5gpm had slightly smaller dimensions and didnt need the full 1 inch line

  • @Ben-sv9op
    @Ben-sv9op 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    So a 1 inch line is enough to feed a 8gpm machine ? Thank you

  • @Jizzafy
    @Jizzafy ปีที่แล้ว

    Why not a 5/8 inch flexzilla

    • @TXcommercialwash
      @TXcommercialwash  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For the bypass line? We use half inch because that is all that’s necessary. And the ag hose is more rigid than the flexzilla.

      And if you’re referring to the garden hose, because we don’t sell garden hose so you’ll see whatever our customer throws on it 😂
