Hey man! To my knowledge, you can't permanently remove a code with BimmerLink. You can certainly clear codes but if the "problem" persists, the code will just come back. I believe BootMod3 will actually allow you to permanently remove codes (don't quote me on that lol)
do you think res delete+open valve is loud enough? I was thinking res delete first, then catted downpipe and then if i dont like it, get the remus axelbback?

Downloaded the app, got the veepeak adaptor, connected fine, no problems! Trouble is, the menu and options are completely different to the one in the video, with no.optuon at all to change the exhaust settings ffs! In fact, not 1 of the options is useful at all! Waste of money! Not happy 🤬

Hey yeah so once you’re done, you press disconnect at the bottom of the app and unplug the OBD adapter. I believe it will revert back to being closed after a while but you can just open it again. You can use the app multiple times
Hey , You are not answering specific questions... I can give answer for those. If you change these settings in the app, next time you turn your car off and restart it, it will be gone. So this is absolutely useless to do. You can better pull the plug of the exhaust valve when it's in your preferred position. You will get a fault message although. But everything will work just fine.
This isn’t absolutely useless… It works, it’s just not permanent. It also won’t cause any fault codes or require you to mess with the physical valve system. I appreciate you trying to add clarifications but calling this “absolutely useless” is misleading
Hey thank you for the constructive feedback! I made and uploaded this video almost a year and a half ago but since then I’ve definitely tried to be better about being more concise! I’m still not perfect but better since this video :)
Watch with headphones that have good bass. It’s always hard to capture deep exhaust sounds on camera, but you can definitely that it’s a deeper tone, with more burbles
Agreed. It's more noticeable in person for sure but still not a major difference. Definitely not a substitute for an actual exhaust system/muffler delete in my opinion

Sport mode opens it up too. I think that’s only for the ones with the M power kit

I can’t say for sure but it works on most modern BMWs with a valved exhaust

Yes in comfort it’s closed but sport + opens

Do you have a pop tune for the exhaust or does it pop like that stock?
Nope this is stock. Since then I’ve tuned it and it now pops way more

Just turn sports plus on and then when it's open just unplug all I did

I can’t say for sure but from research I’ve done, coding won’t impact warranty. You can always confirm with your dealership to be safe
