We found yesterday a hand written transcript of an interview held in Nuhaka during the Heke ki Nuhaka. Te Kooti and Ngatuere are questioning two men from Wairarapa. They were part of the resistance. An amazing find and info. This book is dated 1886 it's about 100 pages. It had multiple scribes transcribing or writing down what was being said I assume as the handwriting changed multiple times but the interview continued. We are figuring out who was being interviewed and what was being said. This is just a whānau find at home so quite amazing.
Does anyone know any further info relating to Te Kooti being at Nuhaka? Or the resistance in Wairarapa, Taratahi possibly? Any more info please.

My Grandfather, George Charles Goldsmith fought in the British Malisha & waged a war against Te - kooti, even though he had married a Rongo - Whakata women..1800 but he was of German & English extract...& what he did to Maori, he should be standing trial up in the Hague, for his war crimes 💀💀💀💀💀in today's international laws
