Another Fascinating video. Thanks! When we were staying nearby earlier this year we used to go to Burgh Castle and there is a very well preserved one just on the other side of the Yare opposite the castle.
Cheers Gavin - much appreciated for the kind comments. Plenty of historic places to explore in Norfolk with lots of folklore attached going back through the generations including Burgh Castle 🙂
Everytime I drive past these I always plan to one day take a closer look but as yet haven't found the time to explore them.. Fascinated by what remains inside it was great to see it all in such detail in this video so thanks for taking the time to show us and share their history.. Really interesting video as always 😊👍
Hi guys, thanks so much for the comments. There are a fair few of these derelict windmills scattered around and have always been meaning to visit these two in particular and finally managed to get around to it last year. Always appreciate you tuning in 🙂
Great! And that autumn landscape❤
Thanks Mirella one of the first to watch again 🙂

Why do people call these windpumps "mills" when they have quite clearly never milled anything?
Sad to see a windmill in such a neglected state. It would be wonderful to see such a wind giant running restored again.
Hi - it is in a sorry state sadly - would take some serious investment to get it up and running again now - thanks for commenting 🙂
