Franchement j'ai regarde Fred et vince en wing suit en jetman etc etc, et ce qui envoi le plus c'est le base jump en norvege !! énorme !! merci Vince pour tout ce que tu a apporté. Trop triste ton départ
WOW!! This has taken my breath away, I cannot believe how skillful and courageous these people are. What a new standard they set, an example to us all of what pure passion and drive can achieve if you believe :oD x x x
If people could only understand the complexity preparation and training mental and physical that it takes to accomplish something like this . Nothing but the outmost Respect !
This is a great partnership where they trust each other fully. You can see in the tracking dive where the guy facing the ground waves the other one that its time to turn around and track away at 1:07. Thats trusting someone for their life!
1:36 is the scariest shot ive seen in a base vid. my god. the fact there are only 3 people in the world who are doing this shows how crazy and skilled this is.
at 1;08 the jumper on top saves the other jumpeers life by waving his arms telling the other jumper that hes getting pretty close. man you really gotta hand it to these guys they make skydiving look like a walk in the park
It's called a camera helmet, the top is flat so you can fit a video and stills camera on at the same time which makes it a bit bigger. Most aren't that big, but if you're a pro like these guys you need the best.
Sometimes training for something is not only refered to building muscle; you have to train also your brain to get used to do certain things your body is not used to (or made for). For example playing an instrument: you have to train the muscles of your hands but also train your mind to learn the movements, etc.
thats the only sad part of the video ... that they ARE FRENCH ... but the fact that the video is simply just soo good you cant even describe it in words , well they make the french look as good as they have ever looked in the history of the world . Mucho
FYI they are french, and at the end they're saying it was "pure", that's how they should do it everytime, that one so felt the speed up, and I think they are happy to be alive ;]
Not much out there has a tighter margin for error than this. This is peak human performance. And the way they proximity fly without wingsuits on-I'm just in shock at why they thought that could even be an idea.
Great video / scenery, however I am curious as to why the sound appeared to be so muffled (?). Was there an object covering the mic for protection from wind?
seriously! that's what I was thinking about! I thought it's because of the location it's filmed from but apparently I'm not the only one... I don't understand how these guys can fly forward like that while falling without a wing suit!
Norway is so beautiful and these guys enjoying the view from the front row. I mean Baumgartner had a nice view too but i would choose Norway and diving from cliffs. I dont think i have the balls tho :)
considering that's Alex Polli you replied to, I'd assume he knows them and maybe even has a few jumps with them. One thing you should learn from this video is, relaxe abit and enjoy life :)
keeping your body in a stable position so you won't spin around and know how to steer forwards and backwards, know how to make turns to left and right. stuff like that
I think they are wearing 'tracking pants' which inflate and act just like a mini wingsuit but only on your legs. If you know what you're doing you can generate some decent forward momentum like these guys did. But you can still get horizontal movement without them on, just not as much!
I was 100% serious. When I hear the word "train," I think of body building, and extreme conditioning. Do you need to do those in order to sky dive? I have friends who are a little overweight that sky dives.
Dear redbull, since every singe place you make a video at is incredibly amazing, I kindly ask you to send a team over to Münster, Germany to make country also look beatiful! Sincerely just a random subsriber
1) I'm not quite sure why you people are getting upset about a question, I meant no offense. 2) I have yet to have my question answered. What kind of training do you need? Again, when I hear the word "train, I think of body building and extreme conditioning. What type of "training" does one do for this? When someone asks a question, don't get upset, that's what kids do. Edify me like a grown mature person. Otherwise, you come off as a hot headed person, unwilling/unable to control your emotions
BSBD, Vince. You will be sorely missed
Love how this video is put together, the cuts, the angles, the music... It all just makes you go... wow that's badass and I'm hyped now
that last part with the tracking super close to the cliff was insane. absolutely crazy
Franchement j'ai regarde Fred et vince en wing suit en jetman etc etc, et ce qui envoi le plus c'est le base jump en norvege !! énorme !! merci Vince pour tout ce que tu a apporté. Trop triste ton départ

Completely amazing coordination skills. Only one wrong movement and....

That's because of the waterproof housing for the GoPro cams, the mic is inside, so you hear sound throught 2mm thick plastic.
Le Base jumping synchronisé...Simplement fantastique !
Those guys are the best! Please share more vídeos Of them!
My hands are clammy. Great job!!!
Respect for what you guys do. !!! one can only dream to be as good as you guys are.!!!

That was amazing.
In a lot of the jumps for more than a few seconds I couldn't work out the angle / where the ground was.
Absolutely brilliant!!! Loving those GoPRO's :)

Looks like they're flying! Awesome.
Yeah I just think that going to a dub show and skydiving are very similar fully sense enhancing experiences. Have you done either honestly?
Great video / scenery, however I am curious as to why the sound appeared to be so muffled (?). Was there an object covering the mic for protection from wind?
Wow. Inspiring. I'm going to the wind tunnel now to practice. :) See you in 4-5 years!
Damn that was sick where they were holding hands flipping over each other!
So so good...They're so excited at the end, still pumping with adrenaline.
Soon this will become some National Championship to do with freestyle skydiving!

seriously! that's what I was thinking about! I thought it's because of the location it's filmed from but apparently I'm not the only one... I don't understand how these guys can fly forward like that while falling without a wing suit!
does base jumping/sky diving really require that much training?
i mean what else do you need to really know how to do besides pull the parachute?
Norway is so beautiful and these guys enjoying the view from the front row. I mean Baumgartner had a nice view too but i would choose Norway and diving from cliffs.
I dont think i have the balls tho :)
Unbelievably cool!
No words except for, EPIC.
The Proxy fly Nest the end of the Video without wingsuit just awsome like it

considering that's Alex Polli you replied to, I'd assume he knows them and maybe even has a few jumps with them. One thing you should learn from this video is, relaxe abit and enjoy life :)
