Most of the people all over showing homes don't give the price. If I should buy in Nevada I would prefer Vegas but their prices have gotten rediculous. Theses houses are much better value. Also I heard car insurance is half the price of Vegas. also heard Puhrum has shifting soil that can crack your foundation. How does the climate different from Vegas. Isn't it cooler in winter and hotter in summer
Pahrump is a good value and is growing rapidly. Prices are about 65% of what they would be in Vegas. The soil problem has mostly been resolved due to stricter building codes. The problem is that you’re talking about mostly affected houses that were built before 1995 when there was no building codes and they wouldn’t properly prepare the soil. I have bought and sold two houses out there with no foundation issues.
