Items wont drop to hopper through the sand, tested with other blocks, doesnt seem to work anymore or unless i am doing something wrong, Soul soil was pushed by piston on top on chest cart but dropped basalt acts like its on top of a solid block

you gave to make sure that the minecarts are alighned with the rails you placed them on. when you break the rails do not touch the minecarts as that will disturb their alighnment. good luck

Hey, you need Haste II, there's no way around it.
If you struggle getting beacons, I highly suggest using villager trades to get a villager with Looting and then putting that on a sword and killing a few Wither Skeles until you get 3 heads, then using them under the end portal to kill the wither.
If you've already killed the dragon, it should be easily doable in 30-60 minutes depending on if you have an elytra or anything yet.
