Well, for manual mining they all can cap out at 72k blocks, there's no going faster than that. Now for blast chambers... Personally, I'm more into dynamic casting of structures into the world. Already made a stairway maker, and have a concept for a lava lake pattern printer, no skill to execute it though.

@@anttosalo3839 I think it can just completely skip ticks if the game gets laggy, so it can mess up your entire redstone build, esp if you use piston or any sort of precise timing.
@@zucchiniflavorednarwhal7528 I also have a spiggot server (switching soon to vanilla) and I can tell you medium scale piston builds (like wall makers or world eaters) break all the time, the smaller ones (tree farms and so on) only if you use them for a couple of hours straight. It really depends on the lag, if you can run it at 20-30mspt it's probably gonna be fine
Kirssar if you enchant your pickaxe with mending and set up an afk zombie pigmen experience farm close enough, would that repair faster than your pickaxe breaks?

Woah, hold up. This is awesome sure, but when am I gonna need 72,000 basalt blocks?! 😂This farm produces enough blocks to fill in a chunk from bedrock to build limit - with 100 stacks left over - each hour!! This is not a critisism btw, Ilmango you are a legend.
I'd say that, though I don't know/remember what basalt is used to craft, there may be something that needs a lot of basalt now or in the future. That would be a good reason, but a better one would be the simple fact that it allows you to condense your farming time down to a negligible number. After using this once, you don't need to go back for a long time.

notbydesign lol this isn’t the 0-tick farming that you’re thinking about. They fixed the bug that caused the plants to grow when 0-ticked , other wise in red stone 0-ticking means no delay or something similar , 0-ticking is still used in many red stone contraptions and is an intended mechanic. The plants growing were a bug , unfortunately.

[Fix for Bedrock Players] For anyone who cant place the scaffolding on the trap door. Place a block where the trap door is suppose to be and place the trap door on top of that.
I was expecting to have to use a TNT blast chamber to farm this or something, but this is much better! Now if only Basalt bricks became a thing, then it might just become one of my favourite decorative blocks.

For it to be perfect, it needs to have a variant that rivals the other brick blocks in the game with clear defined bricks as the texture for all six sides. At the moment, it's just rivalling other pillar blocks.
I'm having an issue with this and I'm hoping someone can help: The hopper minecarts placed at 4:12 do not transfer items to the hopper minecarts below it, which means the fallen items don't make their way into the collection area. As far as I can tell, I've placed every block the same way Ilmango has. EDIT: I found the problem, in case anyone stumbles on this with the same issue. The bottom row of minecarts must be placed on top of rails- that extra 1/16th of a block or whatever matters. I had mistakenly removed all rails after all minecarts. Don't be like me!
Hey Ilmango! Just a heads up that there is a bug in the game right now that when you ride a strider up against magma blocks while in lava, you go insanely fast, similar to the soul speed and water glitch. I think it would be a cool thing for you to make a video on Keep up the good work. 👍
spigot makes redstone unreliable. redstone intructions can get delayed to the next tick. kinda pointless to use it for anything that requires precise timings
Spigot servers mess with Redstone to improve lag (if server it's lagging redstone activities will be moved to the next game tic with brakes most advanced redstone machines

It seems like you could do with less minecarts if you made it wider, this could also help solve the whole fragility of iceblocks right next to your pickaxe problem.
To make it on bedrock you just have to account for the fact that pistons actually take 1 tick to activate. This also affects how you put the minecarts in the block I believe. I think you have to have a block behind it to get it to work. I'll test it out

When I built this in my test world it worked fine but now in my survival world nothing is making it down to the chests. Not sure if I need to reposition the hopper carts or something. I can't get the clock to work, what am I doing wrong? It does 1 loop and then stops EDIT: Built it in creative and found out using a honey block instead of a slime block breaks it. I thought they were identical besides the sticky and bounciness?
Bro you can skin some part of it by placing direct hopper below ice so this can be useful and workable then connect hopes with a double chest then extend it with hopper chest
Hey ilmango can you do a video on ways to make farms more lag efficient? Maybe find out the top 10 to 20 popular farms and explain how using things like rails instead of dust to improve them? It may help people understand some of these machines better and help servers at the same time XD

this farm would break a netherite pickaxe every 6mins 40 secs, so be carefull with the afking if you're gonna build this

This should be built near a automatic xp farm so you mend your pickaxe for high afk hours

You could make it a fully automatic farm by pushing the blocks to a tnt duplicater. And collect with hoppers.

Cobblestone farms can make 200k an hour. Wood farms can also make over 100k an hour

Now you gotta hook it up to a pigman farm so the xp can mend your tools
so the main difference between basalt generators and cobblestone generators is that basalt is instamine. This makes it far easier to farm actually
Ive actually also built a basaltfarm but i couldnt make the tnt keep up, it uses some more pistons though
I've had this question for a long time now... How good is netherite god armor? (you can get it by upgrading diamond god armor)
The only problem with this design is that you can't afk for more than a few minutes because of the durability of your pickaxe

This one may be more user friendly and reliable, but Ray's is the same speed but smaller and cheaper.

Hey ilmango can you do a video on ways to make farms more lag efficient? Maybe find out the top 10 to 20 popular farms and explain how using things like rails instead of dust to improve them? It may help people understand some of these machines better and help servers at the same time XD

Does basalt get blown up by tnt because then you could make a really fast farm if you have tree farm size boxes pushed into a tnt blast chamber
