This kid was really aggressive from the start and started to become defensive at the end after seeing Daigo adjusting to his approaches. I hope to reach that kind of resolve to never get tilted or choke when under pressure.
I feel like Daigo still is the best first to 10 wins player out there. He might not take the 2 out of 3s or 3 out of 5s at EVO like before but he's probably still the most adaptable long set player out there. Imo.

It was in 3S, like a ft50 or something, and Daigo lost by just one or two games, and I’m going to let you all down by revealing that I can’t remember who the other player was for the life of me. It's just a common thing to a true pro player....the kid is good means he has very good raw talent but its unrefined. All Daigo did was get serious and pick apart all the wholes in the his game to show the kid what was up. Think of it as a way to nurture the spirit of the other player/fighter. I look at this as Daigo being more Ryu like in real life than he might care to admit lol.
