2016 Marching Band Reunion - Amazing Grace

The Indiana University of Pennsylvania marching band, also known as The Legend, had a reunion weekend performance on November 12, 2016. The current marching band welcomed over 200 alumni on to the field to perform a halftime show and play their signature song "Amazing Grace" during the post-game show. Just found out about this school. I am an alumnus of Livingstone College's Marching Band 1973-1977. Was invited to join the Marching Band at NCCU when I was in graduate school there from 1978-1986. Earned a Masters's in History in 1986 and worked at Old Salem, Inc. for almost 30 years. They gave me a chance to use my history degree and honored my parents who believed in Education during their passing (dad in 2002 from strokes) and my mom in 2008 from leukemia. Mom was a history major/teacher/school librarian and so much more. She and dad raised three kids(me, Al, and Jim). This is what connections in a positive way are all about. You folks recently played against WSSU's Football team. My baby brother was an instructor of Public Relations and Marketing there for several years He is now headed toward retirement. Love the connection indeed.
