In "Starvin' Marvin in Space," a South Park episode, Marvin, an Ethiopian child, seeks Cartman's help to find a new home for his starving people. They discover Marklar, a planet ideal for the Ethiopians. However, they face opposition from missionaries and the U.S. government, who also want the planet. Ultimately, the boys help Marvin's people settle on Marklar, offering a satirical commentary on religious proselytism through absurd humor.

*MARKLAR*
I agree with this marklar, his markler is the best markler I seen today.
Greetings, Marklar!
keep my marklars name out your marklar mouth
wise words...
Thanks bro! Can't wait for this episode!"
Congratulations on your successful movie reaction.
Pretty good views, i'm very happy , I love movie reactions!
You're the Lord of the MARKLARS
I get Flight of the Navigator vibes, Marvin is the only other person who can access the spacecraft and fly it, the information in his brain can navigate them to Marklar
The wormhole scenes from 22:25 and 22:33 have Kenny on the ship, but he was in carbonite. Matt and Trey just recycled those scenes! :O
The old guy who was on TV and in charge of the church was a parody of Pat Robertson, a televangelist who was in charge of the 700 Club. Died just a couple years ago.
The section with the song is a parody of Flight of the Navigator, and the song itself is a parody of that movie's opening theme.
Marvins life was hell even before he realizes he can skip church. 😂
Marklar is nowhere near Cairo, mostly.
You enquiring if something is a Starwars reference reminds me of a really awsome choice made when filming "Return of the Jedi."
When you hear an alien language half if the time it is just jibberish. However, the other half if the time what you are hearing is a relatively obscure real African or Asian language.
There are numerous stories of extatic people from regions speeking one of the chosen languages going to the theatre to see Return of the Jedi unexpectedly hearing their native language on film for the first time ever.
Marklar really enjoys your marklar, your marklars make me marklar, marklar and sometimes even marklar.
This Marklar was so marklar. I nearly marklared all over my marklar
📖 + ✝= 🍗🍗
The guy on Christian TV asking for funding for the spaceship upgrades 😂This episode is incredible. They pack so much into 20 minutes, it's crazy
Marklar marklared so squanchy could squanch
The guy voicing Rick from Rick and Morty was a child when this aired. I`m sure this is not Rick and Morty.
He was born in 1980 and this episode came out in 1999. That would make him 19 years old when this first aired.
I can't wait until you react to Season 3 episode 17. It's one of my favorites.
19:40 LMFAO That is the infamous Salacious B. Crumb from Star Wars! So funny
16:07 Toli got marklar with stupid marklar
Greeting Marklars. I am so marklar to see you reacting to this particular marklar.
Also, check my Marklar. I am a true Marklar.
This episode really resamble me Out Of The Silent Planet by Iron Maiden
10:28 -- Can you say, get bent? :D
Marklar this was very maklar
Woke up with the spicy cough... Toli posts a South Park video... I call this a win. 😂
My marklar hurts
Hey Toli love you Arch Enemy T-shirt where did you get it at
At the shirt store
they say marklar because rick and morty said squanch
I regret googling Timothy 212. Im surprised thats a real thing. Ridiculous
If you haven't seen Star Wars , have you seen Spaceballs ? If not, you should react to it.
As an Arabian I am surprised you know the word " CHICHA " 😂 most countries doesn't call it that anymore
This might shock and offend you but this came out before Rick and morty
Really? The third season of South Park came out before Rick and Morty? Oh, wow, no freakin way, can't believe this.
No, I never check when something aired before watching it. Absolutely mind-blowing.
I literally said: "This aired in 99", during the intro. 😅
Ye well, checkmate buddy
South Park already did it!
I am offended
comment for the algorithm
Okay Toli, I looked up 1st Timothy 2:12. Screw You ! 🖕. Love your channel, see you next time. 👋
😅🖤
If only I was Christian...
@@Tolye 😃👍
Bro your reactions are priceless. They really do sound that god damn ridiculous lmao. Just please only respond in god’s language, English.
Thank you!
It is more IMO, bashing the evangelical predatory aspects instead of Christianity as a whole
Yeah. He makes the mistake of treating all of religion under this evil umbrella when most aren’t like that and are normal people. Much like with many things that have a bad reputation, it’s only the very few that make the entire community look bad, while the community is actually pretty decent
I do not like Christianity's core values, I think it is toxic in its nature. But that does not imply that there aren't good people adhering to it.
And no, I don't treat all of religions the same, I think I made myself clear in this video that I am only targeting the Abrahamic ones. I have never touched Buddhism, Shinto or Paganism.
Geez, I was under the impression of giving you the benefit of the doubt that you were just poking harmless fun at the extremes, not that you had an actual vendetta and being purposely mean about it.
Notice, all I said was what offshoot of the common religion this was parodying in my opinion. The bad missionaries, ones that are not about helping and only pushing their ideology blindly, and the Tv preacher or groups that prey on people giving money away for flimsy excuses or getting scammed. @@Tolye
@@Tolye as a religious person myself, I disagree. If you read the holy scriptures or books from Abrahamic religions, you realize that they do have many life lessons and important information in there, they are not inherently evil or toxic, but people make it that way by ruining the word for god and using it in an abusive way to attack or control other people. Christianity preaches caring and loving others, and does say to peach the word to people, but not in a way where you force them to do it, if someone rejects it, that’s fine. The problem is inherent to the people abusing it for their own gain, not the religion itself. This happens with everything, not just religion, if there is a way to exploit people using it, someone will have done it.
I feel your hatred of Christianity might be rooted in childhood, and I’m sorry if you had a bad experience, but don’t denounce or hate the entire religion for that. It would be like going to a bad doctor and then never going to one again simply for that one experience. You probably don’t see the other religions as bad since you didn’t experience them.
@@Lunarbob19 yeah, Matt and Trey were portraying the extreme ends of Christianity, not the entire religion. I’m not sure we’ve ever seen him like this in a video before.
Why do you keep insisting on watching the worst episodes of South Park. All of the greatest episodes are after the season 5. Before season 5 is below average.
maybe because I watch the show in order? And I found this episode to be pretty good.
