Determined to make the last day of Spring Break count, the boys spend a day ziplining in the Colorado Mountains. It's definitely one of the underrated and underappreciated episodes. They used the real narrator from I Shouldn't be Alive, and the twist using real actors as the boys reenacting you never saw coming.
This was one of my personal favorites.
This episode is so funny parody of " I shouldn't be alive." And the switch to live actors in their escape is so wild.
Never knew this is controversial among fans, i always thaught it was one of the funnier ones of the later seasons, long story short: i love it

Great episode. Parodying both super boring tour groups taking part in overly commercialized activities and unbearably stupid reality shows trying to create drama out of nothing, it does great job at making fun of both. And the whole "reconstruction" using live actors is super funny.

It's obvious that "Xbox" mentioned in an episode is Xbox 360, released in 2005, the only massively popular and sold Xbox console to this day, which even outshined PS3 in the first half of its lifecycle.
A zip-lining tour really does sound awful. Back in ‘03 I worked on the ropes course at a scout camp. We had a 50 yard zip line and I never went on it even when offered because it looked lame. It was more fun to rappel down from the tower.
I’ve never ridden one either, but I helped set one up one time, and fell and broke my arm. So.. yeah.. that was fun.
It’s hit or miss considering that it’s a parody of “I shouldn’t be alive”. So your enjoyment is going to be based on whether or not you have seen shows like it.
They even got one of the narrators of the show to narrate tgis episode.
i've never seen that show at all and I LOVE this episode, you dont need to see it, they touch most reality shows and survival shows and you just get it, even if you dont this is incredibly well done and refresshing

I have never seen “I shouldn’t be alive” or any similar shows, but still find it hilarious. I think it's enough to just watch few reality shows, most of them have the same dumb formula.
I've never watched any of those shows in my life and still always thought it was one of the better episodes.

I'm torn about this episode- i never watched the initial show its parodying nor have i been ziplining and i avoid group activities so almost every joke goes over my head and i do not find the episode to be funny; however, this is one of maybe 5 episodes that truly break the standard south park formula and swing for something crazy and for that it gets points for being unique. Two other episodes that break this mold (you haven't watched either yet) are 'grounded vindaloop' and 'fun times with weapons' (of which i know you'll love the song from this episode hahaha)

I'm with you Toli, I love this episode! I've always thought it was hilarious. You're right incidentally, it was based on an actual ziplining experience Matt and Trey had (or at least Trey, I'm not sure) in which they were bored out of their skulls. I love the actors who play the boys, but I think the one who plays Kyle stands out the most.
I'm glad you enjoyed this episode. So many people cant get past the initial premise and write it off. Compared to the Oprah episode this is fucking gold.

This is a great episode. It doesn’t get the respect that it deserves.
A lot of people hate this episode, but personally it's one of my favorites. I love how off the wall it is. I guess it resonates if you can relate to being stuck on a tour or somewhere you really hate for a long period of time. I especially love the live action sequence & ending.

Youre totally right, yes it is very boring at times but were bored with the boys instead of them being all smile and just the plot being boring still, thats what makes this episode so good, and the only live action segment in the show of course lol

This is one of my favorite south park episodes
it has few good moments, especially ending scene, but overall its super boring, it feels like numbers episode of rick and morty (to not spoil it), something that was a good 30s joke, had an episode
