Damn, end of an era. Your videos were very helpful. I've been making concrete vessels for just over a year now. I couldn't have done it without you and Jai. It's one thing to be able to make a functional concrete vessel but scaling it is not easy. Good luck on the next chapter!!!

I'm sorry the concretes didn't work out for you. Personally I cannot watch Jay's videos - they give me a headache. I loved your style - and will miss your concrete updates and experiments.

You were the first person I watched make candle vessels.
I studied you and a couple others, and then dove in and had so much fun making my own.
I wish you all the best with whatever you decide.
You are a phenomenal business woman!

I will miss your concrete container videos. You are the one who inspired me to start my own company. I just filled an order for 150 containers last weekend and I agree that is stressful. I will keep watching your videos.

I have always dreamed of having a soap & candle business. But then I think - who will buy? How will I even sell? And that makes me not do anything about my dream. I am reading your comment on getting such a large order. Can you please tell me how does one even begin selling? How to get such large orders? Is there a course to learn this? Thank you so much.

Hey, if you are trying to scale your business and grow that is definitely a bottleneck. If you're still small this is a huge cost savings and it adds a lot more value using concrete vessels because of its high customizability and you don't have to worry about paying shipping or ordering a bunch of vessels and storing them which to me is important. Once you have a good customer base and get for certain level then you can reach out to suppliers and have your own vessels made. Voluspa candles containers are very recognizable even without looking at the label so much that people on Amazon buy them they're only they're not made by voluspa.

They are the 9oz calypso jars from Glass Now, and you can find the corresponding lids there as well!

I remember watching you fulfill that order thinking how very brave you were to do that many wholesale. I would never do them wholesale, just too much work so yes, i completely understand why it was just too much and a turn-off especially if you have a full-time job on top of it all!! Trust me i know that very well!! Best of luck in your candle making journey and thank you for sharing what you have done. 🎉

I didn't even need to ask to understand why you stopped doing the jars. Once you said 150 candles that you had to make... WHEW CHILE, I just had a feeling you were going to switch. I made one jar and quit. I'm still proud of myself I made it and still have it. It just wasn't for me. I had all the windows and doors open while I was making the jar. It was STILL too strong for me to be working with concrete. Even with my mask on, the smell was just too much. I didn't even know concrete was that powerful. Kudos to you for not feeling pressured to stick with something you don't like. All because other people love your products. I know it was a hard decision. Kudos ❤

It definitely took the fun out of it, and opened my eyes that this would be my future if I got large wholesale orders, etc. Just couldn't justify it. The chapter was fun while it lasted! Onto the next :). Thank you for the support!

If they found a way to make the molds less difficult to handle it’d be easier. It takes me literally 2-3 min unmolding because it is soooo tight.

Concrete jars are affordable to make as opposed to glass jars. However, definitely super time consuming and extremely unhealthy. Those cement jars give cancer. Glad you moved on.
