Great video! I've got a 2018 1500 4x4 crew cab I'm doing my first brake change on. It's the rear brakes. The rotors on mine look great since it's got just 47k miles on. Again, thanks for the awesome video! Stay safe and keep truckin!

Doing rotors on 2016 silverado 2500 and the stupid 21mm caliper bolt that's right next to the springs I can't get in there with my air tool and won't break loose with wrenches on wrenches

Text book perfect job however two mistakes I noticed . One for sure but possibly two. Make sure you use a synthetic grease on the slide pins that contain silicone. This keeps the rubber boot from deteriorating. Not sure if you used it but it wasn't mentioned. The other mistake is that you never should apply grease to the pad slide surfaces on the stainless steel hardware brackets. Grease only attracts dirt , grime, and other road contaminates that can potentially dam up the sliding action of the pads. Even minimal restriction can cause unnecessary pad contact /wear. Grease should never be exposed to road dirt.. Otherwise a perfect and greatly performed video so easily understood.. Great job !!

I hit a snag not sure maybe emergency pads holding inside, I get it to go out about 3/8" and back in 3/8"

I'm not a pro but I thought I push down on the bracket bolts? I know on the front driver side you push down and on the front passenger side you pull up lossen the bolts, is it the same for the rear? Like I said I'm not a mechanic but want to do my rear brakes/rotors on my 2017 chevy silverado.
