  • I got a request for a "regal" looking EDC (everyday carry) cabinet, this is what I came up with. There are a few things I would do differently now that it is finished but I am overall pleased with the outcome. Subscribe (obviously) if you liked what you saw, and thank you for watching, appreciate you.

    23:33 That's some content creator honesty right there. Does all the work on the doors, says "looks tacky, too busy, not a fan" and then poofs it into a different design. 🔥

    Absolutely stunning! Whoever received this must be a true man of class. I would love to see you mark these somehow with your brand. It’s an honor and privilege to have a hand crafted Yarmles piece.

    wow that was incredible. I can't believe you also fabricated the locking mechanism. And the way you hide the screws with those triangular magnetic pieces is so original.

      Got hit in the head alot as a child, if it's not directly from that it's at least tangentially responsible.

    You most definitely did it again. You keep out doing yourself. Stunning. And you are a creator who proves that you don’t need the most expensive tools to be an excellent designer and builder. Have to ask though is the knife you were using to cut tape a Bourbon Blade.

    • @Yarmles
      @Yarmles  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Idk what a bourbon blade is, it's just a regular old dewalt snap off razor blade. I appreciate the kind words steve, doing my best to keep it original.

    Very beautiful, I love those little air slat windows! That’s was fun to see you precisely measure out each groove or dado. Question, have you noticed Purple Heart browning as your pieces age? I’ve never worked with it, I think it’s stunning but heard from others it can I guess oxidize with time and brown. The hinges btw were a sweet touch

      It loses its luster after a few years I am sure but I think sunlight will mostly be the culprit when it comes to fading. Idk personally I have not owned anything made out of purple heart long enough. Switching to Rubio after this project so that can be reapplied down the road to give it new life.
