Hats off and big respect.👏👏👏Looking forward to seeing your gardening and landscaping skills.
I had to stop play momentarily to comment on how great it was that you had Tiffany help you with deconstruction. I was that age and got to help my daddy do something similar. Over 60 years later, it's one of my precious memories. Thank you, Russ, for creating such a memory with her and reminding me of my own.
That kitchen is stunning. When you showed the colors oh so many months ago, they seemed harsh to me. Well was I ever wrong. The cabinets look amazing, and I totally love the design, it works so well. Superb, absolutely superb. Thank you for sharing this wonderful journey. (And I fully understand why the back garden is a priority. Tiffany needs a safe place to play outside.)

I know we don't see everything, but I cannot fathom how you pre-plan everything...every last hole and cut. Your skills, knowledge and problem solving make me feel sick with envy....and a fair bit of admiration. This kitchen is absolutely mind-blowing. Pat on the back for you sir..! Many thanks for the video.
I’ve just sat here for 2.5 hours watching a master craftsman doing what he does best. I can’t find the right words to describe what I’ve just seen, and then I think about the videoing and editing on top of all that. All I can say is thank you for sharing your journey with us 👏♥️
Same, I have ADHD and I can't watch a movie at home without pausing and doing other stuff several times throughout it. It can take me all day to finish one. But this video I sat through in two sections, only pausing for a while to make a smoothie to enjoy while finishing it.
A high end cabinet maker is the master of many trades . As other people have noted . Cabinet maker, joiner , carpenter , metal machinist, polisher. It’s what has made my years in the business so enjoyable and satisfying
Amazing as always, but the highlight of the video for me was your daughter getting stuck in. When she stuck the boot into that kitchen cabinet then casually stood back and picked her nose, Brilliant 🤣🤣

I hope every home handyman appreciates the time and effort that went into this project. Brick, stone, plaster, mortar, tile, copper, lead... all favourites of the DIY'er. None of us see the planning and redos done to complete this kitchen, and the patient determination (and censoring) of Russ is to be admired. Most of all, having a patient spouse is a blessing.
@@jasoncdebussy Well, what do you think I mean by "patient"? I'm sure you must realize just how long this kitchen reno took to complete. Many spouses would be nagging like crazy as to when it's going be finished. There are very few DIYers capable of this type of work.
@@daveduncan9005 Of course I realise that this kitchen project took a long time - and both husband and wife are well aware of that fact too! The whole house is being renovated to a very high standard and it will clearly take a long time. So it is what it is! The wife will undoubtedly be very very grateful to have a husband who has the skills to do this. Were you born thick or have you had to work hard at it? 🤣🤡
Tiffany, destroyer of old kitchens, that mirror is a fantastic choice, it compliments the countertop, and black cabinets, most beautiful backsplash I have seen so far.
New Yorkshire Workshop, the most patient man in all of England. Seeing all of those panels in the workshop and thinking of all the work that had to be done on them all I would have given up - before the job started. Also - have to admit when I saw the orange panels I thought ooh-er, not too sure about that, but once they were up in the kitchen - freakin amazing. Absolutely stunning kitchen! I confess I was sceptical about the yellow cabinets, but they are fantastic! Your workmanship and attention to detail is second to none. The worktop is a work of art, and “the wife” was right about the wallpaper; it provides warmth and texture, breaking up the teal walls.
I think Mrs Workshop knows what she likes. I spent a lot of this video envying her for having such a talented husband who can create such high end products. He seems like a “if you’re going to something, do it right or not at all” sort of man.

Jumped on this as quick as I could after I made a brew, then realised it was a long one and needed another two brews. A three brew video of the most remarkable attention to detail and craftsmanship. An over used word these days but that was ‘awesome’. The sheer mount of work that was put into this up front, designing the kitchen right down to the smallest detail - the CAD work etc etc, mind blowing.

the build of the temporary kitchen complete with custom plumbing and counter top as just part of the process of creating your own kitchen from scratch is sending me.
I gotta say I’m very happy I found your channel. It’s been awhile now and when I see a notification for a new video I know it’s gonna be interesting. I finished watching this video thinking it was 30-50 mins. While it is 2.5 hours! The whole video isn't boring at all for 2.5 hours! Thank you so much!

Absolutely brilliant and even at 2 1/2 hrs it flew by, you've shown what really goes into these renovations and not the usual bollox you get, loved the daughter cameo 👏
Loved the temporary permanent kitchen, having finally removed shower and plumbing after 15 years!!! of temporary use. Great work and a beautiful result. Thank you for posting.
woh, that's a treat, two and a half hours, thanks
edit : i read........26 hours of filming, that is just amazing
the build of the temporary kitchen complete with custom plumbing and counter top as just part of the process of creating your own kitchen from scratch is sending me.
I gotta say I’m very happy I found your channel. It’s been awhile now and when I see a notification for a new video I know it’s gonna be interesting. Even with no spoken narration and just some subtitles it’s one of the better channels out there. The skills you possess over a broad range of trades is remarkable. Fantastic video and kitchen. Cheers from Philadelphia
The vacuum on the CNC machine showing its true value here.
I finished watching this video thinking it was 30-50 mins. While it is 2.5 hours! The whole video isn't boring at all for 2.5 hours! Thank you so much!
Wondered where you have been but now that I see all the work it takes for just the cabinets to be built explains it all! Wow! Your work 😅s impeccable and incredible! Thank you for sharing!
Yeah, when Russ goes radio silent, prepare for an EPIC video to come! 😂
That kitchen is brilliant. The artistry in the cabinets and the way they match is brilliant.
If you are a professional footballer and run around for 90+ minutes and throw a few tantrums you are a legend! If thats the case heaven only knows what you should be called. Genius at the very least. Thank you for a wonderful video and craftsmanship of the very highest order.
Absolutely exstraordinary! Great attention to even the finest details. I can't begin to imagine how much this would cost as far as labor goes.
Your family must really love the amount of care you put into all you do. And, to give your daughters the gift of a full-height chalkboard...wonderful! 💚💚
That is not only a kitchen but a true piece of art! 🤩
Epic in every way. Your ability to turn your hand to any trade and to do it to such a high standard is remarkable. An utterly compelling 2.5 hrs.
42:18 Now that's what we should all be using our spare bits of railway line for
OMG! Your craftsmanship is entirely unmatched by any other human walking this planet. I also LOVED the lengthly video. Thank you!
That kitchen is a piece of art!
Couldn't stop watching! Definitely not my style of kitchen, but the process and workmanship were fascinating. Beautifully done!
Best movie I've seen all year. 10/10 Thank you!
Amazing job, so well planned and executed. Beautiful finish. I am a retired carpenter & joiner with 50 years of experience, never have I seen such perfection from start to finish. Well done, such a joy to watch without any irritating music.
If only the many families who have lived there could see what you have accomplished. For 2.31:55 I did not think about my chemotherapy tomorrow. Bliss.
You, Sir, are a true renaissance man. I subscribed a long time ago for the woodworking, but how you levelled that kitchen floor was a pleasure to watch. Thank you for sharing your work.
The next time someone says that they don't make things like they use too or that British craftsmanship is dead point them in the direction of this guy. A truly Beautiful piece of work Thank you for sharing with us.
He's not British he's an immigrant from Africa. He's albino
I only found this guys channel today and I’m hooked. He does great work! The kitchen looks fantastic. Also, I didn’t even realize this video was over 2 hours until I read the comments. That’s how hooked I was!!
Great
The destroyer especially did a good job on that box.
Dynasty! ))))
Tiffany the destroyer of old kitchens. Awesome. The first video I watched on your channel was the plinth...I thought that was outrageous. This video is awesome...well done.
Bloody hell, I knew I shouldn’t have told my wife to look at how amazing this was…she’s now asking why it’s taking so long to decorate the hallway, and I’m a painter!!
Typical😅
Having done this work for most of my life, I can appreciate the amount of work and attention to detail! Lovely kitchen!
Space age design? Pretty bold choice I'd say for a Victorian house haha. Very nice work!
Amazing! The attention to detail and craftsmanship is unsurpassed!
25:02 I love your sense of humour
:)
@@NewYorkshireWorkshop Didn't miss 'force of habit' either - naughty man :)
