Mumbai needs more funds from both state and central governments and huge investments in infrastructure and housing and improving lifestyle of Mumbaikars . This will help increase the GDP growth rates as Mumbaikars are hardworking and have the potential to do more but waste their maximum time and energy in commuting. Areas from Dahisar To Virar and beyond to Palghar needs to be now focused on as most of funds are spent on Navi Mumbai.

Not all of Mumbai. Just South Mumbai & areas near it are seeing quality projects that are being completed real fast. While potential for expansion of residential & Industrial zone lies in Thane & Navi Mumbai belt. And thats where rail, road & Air connectivity lacks .
