My 87 Mag, has run with almost no issues since new: 2 years ago, the clutch reservoir will run down and I assumed it was this seal letting fluid into the crank case. It happens really random, on hot (90F days or 45F days) but last fall, fluid started dripping down on the frame. If tearing down the motor to replace this seal is the only way: Sofa king bummed.
There is a “key hole method” you cut a slit and pull out the old one. As long as you can get the new one in you are golden. I haven’t done it so look for a video on it. Can be done
Watching all that fluid drain on to the paint frame: Argghhh
Can you put the link for the clutch lever and the other parts? Please
