    Daniel, great job with the video, it was clear and your description was detailed enough that a rookie like me feels confident to perform the task! The links are also greatly appreciated!

      @@DanMX2112 nice!!! I’m mostly ready… my new sled is probably ready to go. It’s my old sleds that I’ve been goofing with. I can’t stop thinking about… how do you feel about old sleds?

    I bought a doo this year. What did I get myself into lol?. Polrais is so much easier and never have clutch issues

      The P drive clutch is actually more reliable and this is preventative maintenance that we must do. You’ll be happy with the Doo, it won’t let you down man!

      @JohnSmith-uy2jg I like the P Drive, they are great clutches, and this maintenance is easy to do.

    Schaeffers citrol cleaner works great for cleaning the entire clutch. I'm surprised those bearings go bad so fast. Do SLP weights work well in these skidoos?

    • @DanMX2112
      @DanMX2112  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would contact SLP on that, as this year is my first on the P Drive and I’m running SHR clutching on mine. Thanks for the recommendation on the Citrol, I’m gonna give it a shot!

    How does that grease hold up? Ski doo calls for their special thermal grease for the rollers.

    • @DanMX2112
      @DanMX2112  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s great grease, and it will do fine on that clutch. The SkiDoo isoflex is dang good too, but I’ve ran this grease in needle bearing applications for years and it holds up great to heat and pressure! I felt no need to go spend extra, and this grease won’t harden up like I’ve seen the isoflex do overtime. Time will tell, but so far so good, it’s performing great!

    • @grutzmac
      @grutzmac 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      is that maxima grease?

    Could you just grease and/or replace those roller bearings witouth removing clutch?

    • @DanMX2112
      @DanMX2112  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For sure, and I mention that in the video. I actually won’t remove the clutch next time I do this. It was easier for video and the process.

    How many miles on the sled (clutch) you're working on? In case I missed it.

    • @DanMX2112
      @DanMX2112  ปีที่แล้ว

      1100 miles on the clutch at the time of the video.

    What’s the downside to replacing the P-Drive for a CVTECH PB80?

    • @DanMX2112
      @DanMX2112  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      No idea, asking the wrong guy here. Why would you replace the P-Drive? It’s arguably the best clutch ever made for a sled.
