I have been a rockhound since I could walk 40+ years ago. I do have quite a collection of all different kinds of keepers. I am absolutely floored by the unbelievable beauty there along the Yellowstone river. So many magnificent treasures that are just absolutely to die for. I would be embarrassed to share my collection along side those beauties. All my years of hounding and those are ALL keepers IMO. They are all so amazing they would definitely put my collection to shame. Makes me look like a hounding pup compared to your findings. I absolutely appreciate your videos and every bit of nature you share. I dream that on day I could spend time there in that neck of the woods and I'd be in heaven for sure. Is probably never want to leave. So many jumbo grand daddies it just floors me. Thank you so very much for bringing me along. I truly appreciate all the beauty and goodness of the nature you share.
It's comments like yours that remind me of how good I've had it in Mt. I couldn't agree with you more as the typical keeper off the BOTTOM of the eastern Yellowstoned River is usually a ten pounder. Blessed

I'm glad to see another dog who loves to retrieve rocks. I knew a guy who's dog would retrieve rocks from under water and find the right one but if the rock was to big for his mouth he would go backwards and paw it with his front legs. Keep up the great videos.
What a beautiful place to spend a good time, and the nice music in the video makes it even more peaceful. All the rocks were nice but the colorful jasper was more fascinating.

back in Iowa after 6 weeks in the north woods of Canada & then I find this really sweet video after missing several over the summer. I fell in love with that sweet banded agate about the size of a child's wooden building block in the video at approx 7:44. Wiow!

Love this rock hunt! I hope you throw some sticks for Kip because I can tell it would make his day! Yes, I would like that lumpy “ maybe Carnelian“ “could be an agate”… That thing is spectacular. So are so many of the others, but that would in particular because orange is my favorite color I suspect! Great video!

Those Montana agates out there on the Yellowstone are among the best in the world. From iris to dendrites, they make me drool a little sometimes.

I absolutely love the Yellowstone River Rocks. I have bought some from a couple of others from out there in the area. The stuff you showed in this video was just stunning. I love, love, love banded chert and jasper. I always look forward to your videos. Hope you tossed sticks for Kip as well.

I thoroughly enjoy your videos, not only for your easy-going nature, but also for the very nice videography and music. I have some physical limitations lately which have prevented me from rockhounding, so I feel like I can "hunt" vicariously through your adventures. We experienced a house fire last year in April, and our repairs aren't done yet, so amidst the stress I try to find joy wherever I can. Watching the birds in our yard, capturing the gorgeous Indiana sunsets, and admiring rocks on the internet have helped me more than words can express. Thanks for helping me navigate this nightmare.

This is such a awesome hunt. I don’t think there is a bucket or a bag big enough for me if I were to hunt on the yellow stone. My mind and soul would leave me , all those pretty rocks it would be heaven for me.
