Funny that you mentioned your ADD. I’ve been wondering how many rock hounders, like myself, are ADHD. The thrill of the hunt, finding and cutting open cool rocks is such a dopamine booster!😁
Lately I’ve been collecting what I assume to be pudding stones along a creek in my neighborhood in Virginia. As I was leaving the area, along the road I noticed a huge batch of conglomerates 4-5’ tall inside a fenced in field. Then later read they used to mine conglomerates long ago in that area.
Your last agate was the best one for me.❤ I swear I saw wood lines throw out that agate, that was awesomeness in its own. 😊Thumbs-up 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😮 WOW❤ love it, still WOW! 😊

Thank you! I've actually found that sunglasses make it harder for me to find the agates, not sure why, so I don't typically wear them on the river.

The rocks you call pudding stones are nothing like the pudding stones from here in Michigan. Ours have jaspers in them. The ones you picked up look like our gowganda tillite. That last one you picked up was awesome. Love your videos. You find so many beauties.
I'm not sure if pudding stone is even the correct identification, but that's what I've heard other people call them.
I have heard others from Montana call them that too.
I agree those pudding stones are interesting as a decorative feature perhaps in the garden or yard. I envy you those clear skies and fresh air, in western Canada right now it is pretty terrible, not so bad where I live but not too far away it sucks.

Me and a friend are in Montana. We came to see the flamimg lips and to do some rock hounding here. We're not from here we live over well over 800 miles from here. We both enjoy rock hounding very much. We've been along yellowstone river looking and I've noticed the places we've been too are high trafficked spots. We don't know montana wish we did. And those spotted green rocks are some of my favorites and have been collecting them as well

Never, not once. It is possible, just not many down around Billings where I mostly hunt.

It’s a 10.5 foot Rocky Mountain Raft. They’re a great company without super expensive boats. We love ours very much.

I saw your older video fly fishing in the Missouri Rv. Do you ever fish in the Yellowstone around Billings? I checked the water guage in Billings, looks like water temp are pretty warm for trout. Do they migrate to cooler water in summer?
I have fly fished on the Yellowstone upstream of Billings, around Big Timber. There are trout, just not many, around Billings.

Please look up Pudding Stones. They were named by the English settlers because they resembled pudding with fruit. Pudding Stones are found in Ontario and parts of Michigan. You did not find a Pudding Stone.
