Keep in mind that in the Woman side we have Peres Jepchirchir (current Olympic champion). She might be the 7th PB, but for sure a favorite for this race
She will be a key factor to exhaust the Ethiopians with varying paces but she can't sprint. Assefa seemed so comfortable in Berlin! But here she won't have a male umbrella to support her all race along😮😊😂
There are no male pace makers for the women’s field at the London marathon so I think it’s highly unlikely see them even get close to the world record but I think a sub-2:15 is a possibility
I saw the Paris Marathon and I noticed that the pace maker was going to fast forward and the women were running with the men elite and on the men side, it was the unexpected to win and on the women side, the expected won so I have no clue for the London Marathon: I suppose that they all qualified to win and come up to be in the top 10, but I am biased: I only cheered and routed for my own country USA even though they are not 🚭🚫 listed in the top 10 unfortunately but I believe that they are improving and that is important; never cave in and never quit unless emergency dued to health challenges!!! Weather also would be a factor: in Paris, it was raining periodically and cold or cool depending upon the runners and the paralympics: they competed too!!! International Walk Competition Championship is coming up too but thanks for sharing though!!!!
My question is where is Letesenbet Gidey and why does not she race more often. She was so promising in the world of marathon but lately i think she has some crisis should she run track or road.
It's going to be a Marathon Sunday. Darß, Leipzig, Hamburg, London. London men's field isn't that impressive i.e. compared to the ladies or men's field in Valencia.
I guess she is training hard for the Olympics. She may develop incredible paces (as she did on 15k or half marathon) but has been limited by her speed and unable to win against Hassan, Tsegay, Obiri or Kipyegon in final rush (except in Oregon 2022). My thought is that she has the potential to be the next female marathon WR holder...
If I am not mistaken, the London marathon has a womans-only race right? So a sub 2h12m will probably not happen... but a woman's-only marathon world record is very likely, right?
A lot of the big names in the men's race dropped out along the way. 2:04:01 is a pretty ordinary winning time these days. A bit of a strange race really. Congratulations to Munyao, Bekele, Cairess and Muhamed though.
Kelvin Kiptum😢😢😢
Bekele's last Olympic Team was London '12, can he possibly make the ETH Paris Olympic Marathon Team at almost 42 if he does well in London?!
Yes if he can run around 2.04-2.05 in London .. its gona be Lemma , Tola and maybe him in Paris 2024.
I wish best possible day scenario this Sunday for Bekele. And no matter what he's the GOAT
I’d give anything to see Bekele win again
Second place overall

She just broke the women’s only WR and totally smoked tigist asefa 😂😂😂😂
you called it!!
I still feel sad knowing that KK from Kenya 🇰🇪 is not part of the line up
Could you make an updated video on London, please? Such an amazing race on both sides and would love your analysis. Bekele shattered expectations!!

DANIEL do NASCIMENTO from Brazil
Not a chance.....he tires out easily....💩💩💩💩
@@jamesromano3288 yep, he plays all in and often hits the wall, but maybe he's learned the lesson
@@jamesromano3288 that 2h04:51 was not by chance
@@Fabio-Correr-eh-Viver he's so young, lots of time to improve
More like Daniel Do Na-fini-scimento

I have been waiting for a video reviewing the London Marathon from your channel. What's up? Drop it!
The weather looks perfect, the field is stacked with talent…..this should be fast, could be a WR stage
Like always king Kene, makes running great again.
Congratulations to Alexander Munyao of Kenya ...
Bekele sin duda el más grande
Why world forgot Almaz Ayana ... She is goat of long distance .

GO BEKELE GO!!!
I really want to see Daniel do Nascimento attack the race again but keep it up in the second half for the win!
The goat 😊
What happened to Giday... Such a great runner.. Not being seen now

I think I saw a post by the nn running team, that geoffrey kamworor won't be able to compete, because of injury.

The Women only World Record held by Mary Keitany (2:17:01) would probably be taken down.
Congratulations to Alexander Mutiso Munyao. 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Kamwowor isn’t running due to injury :(
Daniel Mateico, the pacer of Kiptum will run. He may create a surprise !
Kamwowor afraid of Bekele ??
Tola FTW!
Rest in peace Kelvin.
Tola will win
Probably
He’s the strongest in that field
His PB in NYC values à sub 2:02:00 in a flater race.
Bekele broke the masters record again and came second
I think women will run 2:13 something
Where is Eliud?
Keep up rookie. He ran recently in Tokyo - his next race will be at the Olympics...
*11 athletes under 2:06 (kamworor has pulled out of the race)
No Eliud Kipchoge?

Feel guilty because of Kelvin kiptum
Washed
Bekele Number one 41 year old
Bekele is probably the GOAT in distance running but he stands no chance. Father Tine marches on.
Ridiculous death of kiptum
no course record on the men's side, no wr on both sides
I’m calling it again Bekele 1:57 mark my words 🥹
😂😂😂😂😂
@@rossfripp4503if inject higher doses, nothing is imposible. Including 1:55
Where's that Chinese champion that beat three africans.?
Bekeli should be the women’s pacer.
