    MarHaba ustaadh Ibraheem, you did an excellent job on this video because not only does it contain prepositions, but numerous example sentences with LOTS of everyday vocabulary as well.Just a question please, at about 13:11 does the verb in انا اتصلت فيك mean "I called you on the phone" OR does it also mean "I called you in person"? Shukran kteer.

    Thank you so much for your content its is so valuable. I have a question off topic from preposition, it about expressions. I came across the following sentence:" قال بينه و بين حاله ما دامني هون." I think it means "he said to himself, as long as I'm here". Am I correct ? Is " بينه و بين حاله" a common expression? Can you just say, "قال لحاله" ? or would it sound incorrect?

      Thanks for your comment and I am glad you're enjoying these vids. Reg your question: Yes it's correct and can add possessive pronouns to most prepositions in Standard and Spoken Arabic. and you can say e.g rah lahalu راح لحاله he went alone etc & Ahmad janb-i Ahmad is next to me أحمد جنبي So the short answer is yes to all your questions. Thanks, Ibrahim

      Shemen? That’s not a word. Unless you mean Shamal? Both yasar and shemal are used

    ‏سلام عليكم يا ‏معلمي!
    What’s the difference
    between “ب" and “ ‏عند" ? Thanks!

    • @ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic
      @ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      b is a proposition whereas عند is an adverb meaning /at/ and used as an auxiliary most of the times

    MarHaba mua3llim, 2au أوْ AND willa ولأ both mean "or" , so I was wondering if they can be used interchangeably? Shukran.
