  • Starting off a big paver patio install with some base prep! We had a handful of obstacles and trenches to dig, but hey, we always make it happen. Enjoy the video!

    These are so satisfying to watch. The amount of work you both do is incredible, but it is so worth the effort to see the result.

    What a huge project. Starting in the rain and mud doesn't seem to dampen your vision and enthusiasm. Can't wait to see it progress into a work of art.

      It was a big project for sure... I love challenges though LOL. Rain can be annoying but it also provides food and green grass, so how can you be too mad when it comes? LOL Thanks for the feedback! ✌

    Just finished my patio after a couple weekends of work thanks to your videos! Had a guy come over that works for a landscaper and said he wouldn’t have been able to do it any better!

      That's awesome brother, I love reading comments like this! I'm sure it feels good chilling on a patio that you built with your own hands. Congratulations man, hope you make many memories on it! God Bless ✌

    I think I remember you saying you liked that Kubota you got there. I just recently this summer rented one to clear some landscape for a pool that I put in and I hated the thing. I am not use to the foot controls for the bucket. I am use to all the controls being in the hand controls. It took me longer than it should have to get use to the foot controls. And when I was finished I still don't think I was use to them. But it got the job done, better than digging it all by hand like I had started doing. Next project is hopefully going to be the paver patio that I have been planning for the last year.
    Love your videos keep them coming...I know you been busy this summer!

    I did something similar with my backyard (gas, electric, water), only I sleeved all the lines with reinforced PVC and buried in 3/4 gravel to prevent sagging once I put the weight of the patio and to ensure machines were not going to compress the substructures (landscapers, arborists, and future expansion of the backyard.

    Big project. Do you always run a two person crew or ever have more?

    • @TheChristianHardscaper
      @TheChristianHardscaper  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It certainly is a big project... And yes, 90% of the time it is just 2 of us. Someday I hope to have a solid 4-5 man crew but patience is key. And it's funny you say that because the next few videos will have one of my best friends in it because he spent the last couple months last year help us finish some projects. You will see him in the next video!✌

    How do you get the backfill and the compacted base even and level. I always struggle with the tamper to get that right and ensure the grade is consistent across the span

    Why did you tamp the walkway twice? I've heard you say the stone lays 98% compacted.
