Every time I build an outpost and feel like I've outdone myself, it's videos like this that humble me. Seeing people build authentic outposts and bases in games like this has always fascinated me!
I'm always fascinated by the things other people build in games like this too. That's one of the things I love most about FO76, getting to check out other player's CAMPs
first video I see from this TH-cam channel.
YO BETHESDA, hire this woman to create habitated POIs!
great creation, walk-through, and description :)
This is by far the best outpost build I’ve ever seen. I absolutely love this. This inspired me to scrap all my outposts and start over. Thanks for sharing🙃
:) Didn't expect it to be even possible to build that close to the city... I love that glass bottom hab!
Wow, never seen any outposts so well decorated.
I'm amongst the Starfield dedicated fandom as I am amongst the Elder Scrolls fandom and will remain so to my elderly years. You are an inspiration.
The May Update is really getting me more invested in Starfield.
Wow! Using the water for the floor like that was a really clever idea!
Another fantastic build. The makeshift showers are ingenious, and the kitchen is chef's kiss
That glass floor above water is just brilliant!
this is incredible, I've never seen anything like this in starfield. Makes me wanna figure out outpost stuff that I got too overwhelmed to bother with
You should give it another go! The system is kind of finicky and confusing at first, but once you get a feel for how it works it becomes a lot less overwhelming
@MissOPlays and to be fair, that is also true of the settlement building in FO4. it takes a LOT of learning. 😊
One of the bigger problems of bethesda games nowadays i feel, as much as i love creative building in games. Here it feels like a chore to get into and a chore to do, with all the placement restrictions, cumbersome movement and aggressive snapping. Takes days to learn how to work around the annoying parts of the system, which indicates a really, really bad design. Fallout 4 already had problems on that front but now, a decade later, it‘s even worse.
At least outposts are pretty much entirely optional, aside from some resource gain (the design of that is also very annoying) and some leveling cheese methods (at that point, honestly, just use console commands, same cheesy method and even faster). So people don‘t have to bother with any of this, but for those of us who enjoy building, that makes the experience twice as unrewarding.
@@Random_Banshee I don't know that it makes it unrewarding, but it can definitely feel like a struggle. It's weird because somethings feel easier than FO4, but a lot of other things feel harder for sure.
I find myself thinking "I shouldn't have to jump through this many hoops to place this here" pretty often, but have to admit when I see the final result come together I typically feel a huge sense of accomplishment
1:08 this is the best looking outpost i have ever seen in this game and i'm not joking !
Omg now i want to do the same one
I made a party outpost in the same spot. The nighttime views from my huge round clear hab were priceless. I set up the room with a few couches facing the view and put Aurora and bottles of booze all over the place. It was the ultimate nightclub/lounge with the best view in the city. Also a nice short hop to go to 'work' at The Lodge.
I put a deck on the roof with lounge chairs and coolers. It's a nice place to unwind with a beer.
that sounds awesome!
how do i get to this location? do i need to go to new atlantis and then run to it or is it its own landing spot?
@griftur Begin in New Atlantis at the MAST District NAT stop. Go up the ramp and turn immediately left. Keep on that general heading until you get out of the city. Then turn left again and head that way until you reach the shore of the lake. Then, right at the shore. Continue along the shore until you find a location you like. If you want this specific location, you can already see it from where you are standing. Run around the first large bay, which you're already on, and it's the peninsula that forms the opposite side of the bay.
@@AndrewJohnson-oy8oj thank you
Jesus Christ I didn’t know things like this were possible. Awesome, amazing, beautiful.
Have stuck with star field since day one and I’m very excited to check this update out.
I’ve never seen something beautiful like that ever before BETHESDA HIRE THIS WOMEN RIGHT NOW😮
You are amazing!! You stretch the boundaries of outpost building like I have never seen and make it work. You are an inspiration to outpost building.
Your jaw dropping skills are amazing. Well done 👏
Wow, I'm speechless! I didn't think this was possible. It took me a while to figure out the creative way you used items to generate something new. Now I'm so frustrated looking a my own boring and minimally decorated outposts.
I'm almost 150 in starfield and I gotta say, you are the best! outpost builder I have seen! Freaken AWESOME!!!! 🥰💯💫
Very beautiful build. Worth the time you invested.😍
You are the GOAT of Starfield building hands down. Great outpost. I've build on that spot many times but yours is over the top crazy nice. Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see your ships.
Cool base. Excellent teaching new techniques. Well done!
That looks awesome! Great job!! (new sub)
wow, Creative, is the world ! this is stunning, really glad to be able to see the creativity of others, I love it!!
Wow. Your building craft has come quite a ways since the last time I tuned in. I absolutely LOVE that main room hab floor with the floating algae...but the list of love is exhausting, so I will just say: incredible work, and absolutely amazing work using our available build pieces. Bethesda needs to have your creations be front page when advertising the building system of Starfield!!!!!
I agree, she could revolutionize outposts if they let her.
@@user-gq1rf5yg9z For sure! These Outposts seriously look better than some of the places Bethesda designed.
Fantastic!! Amazing build as always.
Wow. Looks amazing!
once again SOOOOO brilliant - cant wait to see what you can do with ship!!! love the jeminson local it is i think one of the best city views you can have
No words, so brillant !
Wow great work. I haven't really gotten too deeply into the outpost decorating but you definitely inspire one too.
That shelf glitch earned a sub from me. 🎉
Awesome video. Thank you for sharing your outpost with us!
Amazing!! Totally subbed now.
OMG I set up my "country house" in the exact same spot! Gorgeous views of sunrise, sunset, and the city.
It's a great spot!
This is incredibly impressive.
Super creative!
Amazing!
Amazing base! Liked and subbed 🤘🤘
Awesome and cozy!
AMAZING!!
Miss that is awesome 👌
First comment!
Great video btw, I always love your builds 😊
Love this outpost =)
The new update just dropped for consoles, can’t wait to see what you can do with ships!! Great video
Thanks! I'm already working on my captains quarters and cursing the game's attempts to sabotage me with ladders
@@MissOPlays trust me I understand that pain well lol
Cool 😎
Yer brilliant, kudos
it's like moded so cool ♥
Very nice, let's see Paul Allen's base
WTH this is amazing.
Really beautiful
Very well done outpost, and good video!
Damn Girl you got time to give me a floor plan. I do not have the creative woosh 😂. This is awesome thank you!
This is sick
This is amazing and inspiring
This is insanely good... I have typical guy habs... mostly empty with 2 chairs lol
Your outpost looks mean! 🤩
Those floater terrarium downlighters in the kitchen are great!
You're a genius! :D Your layouts and the way you built the shelving units is truly amazing. The frustration of having all the separate items (junk, etc) you can use but not place easily is immense for anyone with any level of OCD! :) I don't understand why Bethesda hasn't coded everything to snap into place, like in Skyrim, and the collision boxes on everything are so unpredictable it makes decorating your habs hardly worth it. Great video and tutorial! Thank you. :)
Oh right next to NA city, good idea, I think I'll build there too with the new update.
Excellent Idea, screw the UC !! You have impaired me. I am going to do the same. WOW, you have the best hab EVER !
spite builds!
this is insane
How'd you get the habs in the water like that
I want to see your ships. I love building ships I spend way to much time doing it, I bet you make some cool ones
You're making me miss Starfield 😅 Great build !
Ha, come to the darkside we have outposts. I keep trying to play other things, but it keeps pulling me back in
I didn't even know that was an option. You, evidently can access personal inventory?
How did you place the habs on the water?
Wow! Your outpost looks incredible! How long did it take you? Are you playing the game, or strictly outpost building?
I know a girl who only plays games for the building aspect of it, like this game, Animal Crossing, can't think of any other games that let you build your place.
I've never timed how long it takes to do these builds, but it's probably best if I don't know, and yes I very much play the game as well. I platinumed it in my first play through, and been making my way through this second playthrough going much heavier on the "bad guy" antics than I did in the first now that the empty ship bug has been fixed
Other great games for building are Fallout 4 and Fallout 76, your friend would probably enjoy those too. FO76 is great because you can go check out other people's CAMPs since it's online, and FO4 has a lot of fun things you can build, plus with all the mods available there is an amazing amount of things you can do build in that game
Miss O, would you show us your take on decorating the Starborn ship
Brilliant work 0.
Been awhile, but I'm just now getting serious about outposts. I had to powerlevel to prep for the update.
Built a complete network of Bounty Hunter Outposts next to missions boards in all the outer systems. Stupid, simple, and newbie easy.
But now it's the main base time.
So, I'll shut up, watch, and learn from the Grandmaster.
My frustration is "object placement." I'm PC based as a player, and the physics can drive me nuts.
Absolutely nuts.
Plants also keep growing into select habs, which is also frustrating.
I'll go to your library, make some popcorn, and see what's wrong with my technique.
@@Striderspawn placing items in build mode can help with the physics problems, the only downside it can make placement options a bit more limited
Also how'd you get the bottom of the habs clear
Oh dang!! I'm gonna delete everything & do it based on this
Jezzz. This is incredible.!
How do you make those "bridges" - walking platforms?
I used the same technique as with the skybridge in this video, the only difference is the airlocks still have their stairs, they're just hidden by the rugs this time
Her ahh is never stepping through the unity 😂
Holy crap!
Was this done with any mods? Or all vanilla? This looks amazing!
It's completely vanilla, so doable with just what you can find in the base game
Yeah after seeing this I'm humbled
hot diggity damn thats look awesome, i can´t imagen what builds you do, when mod tools are out
Best looking outpost in Starfield without a doubt! Do you play on a PC and used mods to build it? I am a console player.
I'm a console player too, so all of my builds are 100% vanilla. I have some tutorial videos That cover some of the techniques I use to create my builds, and constantly updating that section of the channel to share as many of them as possible if you wanted to attempt them for yourself
Wow! If you could save a template of an outpost and turn it into a mod people would probably pay money for something like this.
I'd love to be able to blueprint outposts. I know there used to be a mod for PC that allowed that in FO4, it would be cool if something similar became available for Starfield
Just an FYI, based on my in game experience.
I've built a network of Bounty Hunter Bureau's on most the level 70+ systems and a few others.
I build them next to a civilian outpost or science facility that has its own Mission Boards.
In systems Mission Boards are system specific, high-level and challenging.
Missions picked up in Cheyenne, New Atlantis or inside your custom hab are not. They are generalized to rhe games super-universe.
You often end up going to lower level planets.
By building adjacent to these in system boards, i can travel my network picking up bounties off both mission boards.
Mine, and the in system ones.
Then?
Well, i go hunt those nasty, mean-spirited, poor nutritionally deficient "pirates" and open a, pardon the pun, old fashion can of whooparse!
;0)-
I think I saw a mod in the creation list that will allow you to build all the mission boards. So you won't have to trek out to those outposts and facilities anymore unless you want to get random quests from NPCs.
@harvbegal6868 I enjoy flying around visiting Mt Bounty Hunter Bureau's
RPGing whilst waiting on updates and DLC's
Subscribed for more Starfield! ❤
How’d you do the walkway over the water? Also did you figure out a new way to make beach side canopies? Awesome work as usual!
the walkways I built the way as I did the skybridge in this video th-cam.com/video/89LvYFCJKZY/w-d-xo.html the only real difference is the stairs are still attached to the airlocks and just obscured by the rugs
As to the beachside canopies I do have a new way to do them! I had been holding off on finishing that video because it sounded like the new update might patch this one out too, but looks like it still works, so I'm going to get that video finished and up soon
Yay!! I’m so excited. I have this little oasis im dying to put together
Damn.
👍
How did u have so many new objects to build...i mean ...i researched all and i dont even have half of the items and things you used in the video...
Some of the stuff she brought over from New Atlantis. Literally dragged them from the city to her outpost.
A couple of things, the red cushion and suitcase were dragged over from new Atlantis, the rest are either in the build menu, or misc items that I've collected in my travels. Things like the pillars and display boxes are made by combining things like pedestals and benches to create new looking objects. If there's a particular item your wondering about I can let you know if it was a combo or found object
Can I move in?
How donu get the structures to stack on top of each other?
I used the 2 story square hab to get the other habs up on top, unfortunately the 2nd story is just for show and can actually be entered though
@MissOPlays thanks! I'll definitely play around with that method. Congrats on ur first mod as well 👏
Is items sinking into surfaces still an issue?
sadly yes, though typically if you save your game, and reload that save before leaving of fast traveling, that will prevent the sinking from happening most of the time
If you can make that outpost into a mod I'd pay well for it. ijs
I am waiting for your ship decorations
I started playing with those the second the update was finish downloading!! Only got my captains quarters finished so far. Currently it looks like the trickiest part is going to be figuring out how to build into/around some of the weird structural pieces and floor plans in the empty habs. Makes for an interesting challenge at least though!
I’m here for it when you figure it out.
What mods were used here ?
none at all, this is 100% vanilla
Remarkable !! 😃👍👍
But I will arrest you for piracy when I get round to it 😊👮♂️
Wait did I say this outpost was on jemison? I meant to say Bannoc IV
She's Carmen San Diego so good luck.
Really incredible build. Too bad you play on console, I'd love to see what you could build with mods.
Cat go meow
Ha! that was Daredevil, he had some critiques
god damn casual delete it...dont support trash games!
