Yes that's a good question. Well the unfortunate thing is that I haven't been active for a while due to school and competitive Pokemon. I will start putting out content again soon though, but I have a massive backlog that still needs clearing. But I'm super happy about your comment, because now I will definitely prioritize a TTC buses guide to a higher level!
I believe they can be used if a streetcar has stopped for a while with its doors closed, you can press these buttons to let the driver know to open that door for you to get on or off the vehicle. The buttons also used to be the stop request on the streetcars. Finally, there should also be a smaller blue button at the small single doors to inform the driver to deploy the ramp for accessibility purposes.
Don't expect those streetcar ticket machines to last forever. Eventually, possibly in the coming years, the TTC will only accept PRESTO and the only way to board any bus or streetcar will be only PRESTO. The TTC is working to permanently remove all exact cash fares (ones that don't give change), tokens, paper transfers and all legacy fare media products across the system.
If and when exact cash fares are removed on the TTC transit vehicles, you will still be able to use cash, credit and debit cards to purchase and reload PRESTO Cards Or purchase 1-ride, 2-ride or all-day TTC PRESTO Tickets at the PRESTO vending machines in subway stations, or at authorized PRESTO retail outlets throughout Toronto.
When will the Guide to Ride video on the Buses be released? Waiting on that as I don't use the streetcars, living in north york @Transit-Gaming

I feel like I'm going to get one up on them with my 2 old tokens I found!
Don’t use your tokens! Save them! They’re literally discontinued and could be valuable in the future…
@@Transit-Gaming I'm a tourist! I know where to find more back home too. But yeah it is super crazy they still accept them! I wish NYC would do that.
@@markvogel5872 I see, interesting…
THE STREETCARS ARE VERY GOOD
What are those buttons on the door inside and outside? How and when do you use them?
