If someone at your job shows up with a bad wig and glued on facial hair, and is being followed around with a camera crew for a "reality show" pilot, you're on Undercover Boss. Just accept that fact.

      Truth.
But nowadays people are more willing to socially prosecute you over your thoughts instead of your actions more than ever. We all have certain thoughts that we wish would never see the light of day... fleeting thoughts of dark curiosity.
One that most can relate to is how they would kill their boss and get away with it. Would they actually do that? No. Did they put deep thought into how they would do it? Possibly. But 9 times out of 10 it was a fleeting thought that happened when your boss pissed you off.

He's not saying he'd do it, he's just stating that he gets frustrated, especially when it's something that happens repeatedly. The amount of times I've had people destroy displays or leave messes where it was unavoidable... Or simply let their child go toilet/vomit on the floor and then not tell anybody and LEAVE! My fuse has shortened considerably since working retail but I hold it in and put on the retail mask like everybody else and we're told to. I don't even bring the anger with me home, I'm not an angry person and never really act in anger but sometimes you do want to boot someone across an aisle... Just a few times. My experience working around the public: I remember working at walmart in toys. When a customer asked me where something was. Yes, I knew where it was, except they didn't give me even 1 second to respond, and they walked off muttering that they were going to find someone who knew what they were doing. A computer would have taken longer than they gave me. It actually didn't help when (other times) first shift moved major sections of toys to other spots, and obv didn't tell me-that made the situation even more frustrating. I have to say almost 100% of the time, the kids were WAY NICER than adults. I helped tons of kids find what they were looking for.

Aside from what other people have said I think the editing contributes to this. Like many shows they will ask all kinds of questions and then cut everything together to seem like they are just rambling. Bossman also looks like the type of guy who wouldn't stick around in a place like that. If he wasn't literally the CEO, that guy would last a week or two, and that would surely effect how the employee talked to him. Seemed like he was trying to be honest and make a friend and the show tried to make him seem like an ass for it.
