A friend of mine worked at Williams and specifically on this car with Jaguar. He was very pleased to hear about this project to make it a road legal car and showed me that exact one with the green paint.
Nice! I so wished Jaguar brought this into production...the concept with a jet engine was great, and so was the prototype with the Twincharged 1.6L pushing 500hp and over 10,000 rpm... This one looks magnificent too, 600+ hp is more than enough for it. But...being very honest...would've been a dream if they went wild with something sourced from Cosworth...👀
I saw this car in the flesh whilst it was being put together, it's even more beautiful when you see it in person and the work that went into it is stunning. It's sister car still essentially looks like it did in Spectre. But this is truly 1 of 1
As much as I love the overall concept of this car, I still would've preferred to see a few of these with the original 1.6-litre turbocharged and supercharged inline-4 engine coupled with two YASA electric motors placed on each axle of the car.
@@leomux2004 some of my favourite cars and engines are absolute four-pot royalties in the automotive world. My two personal favourites: i. Honda K24A2 (i-VTEC) -- a 2.4L, 4-cylinder Japanese V8 Killer, redlining at 7,200 rpm. Available in (2004-2008) Acura TSX in the U.S., the (2002-08) JDM Honda Odyssey Absolute, and the (2002-08) JDM Accord Type-S. ii. Porsche 919 Hybrid EVO (2018), with it's 2.0L Turbocharged, dual-hybrid 90° V4 screaming at 9,000 rpm and smashing the Nürburgring (Non-series/non-road-legal) Lap Record with a time of 5:19.546 in the process!
Probably the most beautiful Jaguar not to go into production - what a disaster! However, THIS car is the business. This is more desirable than all the other hypercars, as you said.
I completely agree with everything you said. The C-X75 was absolutely stunning - way, WAY prettier than every single other supercar and hypercar. Ian Callum is the tits.
I could never afford this car. But I'm delighted that it looks like there will be a few made "real". Perhaps there'll be enough demand for a small production run.
This is an extremely amazing work and deserves a lot of respect, however i do kinda wish the powertrain could had been a hybrid setup with a 2-turbo V6 so it would follow the steps of the XJ220. Didnt need much crazy HP, 750 ish HP would put it on hypercar territory while also being similar in poeer to the TWR Tuned XJ220.
Jaguar should have built this and the Bertone B99 concept. The EV direction will kill Jaguar. The cat is sickly and on its 9th life with no signs of escape in sight.
That's the one I was subconsciously thinking of a few days ago! The B99. Modernise the design a little, keep the Lincoln Continental-esque silhouette, presence and doors, and just release it as a singular flagship luxury model, RR Phantom style. I'd just call it the 'Jaguar Sovereign', then release a couple of other models in the year or two following
This car is truly beautiful its ashame that jaguar as a brand has died after their dodo shitbox marketing rebrand. But we need this in GT7 as it is so historical now. Thank you callum designs!! 😎👍 wish I had some spare cash to get one hehe!!😅😅

That is a very cool friend with a very cool job!
I was always disappointed that this wasn't an actual car.
I don’t understand why JLR would self-cannibalize with only offering SUVs when Jag could be the perfect luxury-performance brand.
Just like BMW making FWD compact cars when they already have Mini for this...🤦♂️
So happy to see this car again!
If Jag were serious, they'd re-continue the CX75 project
Not after that new ad campaign.
It’s not “diverse” enough.
Nice!

Jaguar xj220 successor
So happy to see this car. Just gorgeous. What a colour. Great video here.
Beautiful car. Lots of curves.

Completely agree. It sounded absolutely epic that way too
I hate 4 cylinders, but that one, I like it, 10k rpm with a turbo, a supercharger and electric motors? I'm in!

This still looks absolutely sensational!!
I love them after seeing them in a game called csr2, those staggering wheels caught my attention
Beautiful, fast, outrageous. A proper Jaaaaag!
Right before jaguar revealed it’s trash rebrand
That ad looked like an energy drink commercial 💀
What a fantastic car ❤❤❤
just one of the most beautiful designs of the 21st century, its an art piece that belongs beside the carrera GT and the F40!
Stunning machine❤️
Still one of the best designs.
I miss you reviews of real car outside of GT. I think you are strong here.
I did one on Saturday actually, for the first generation Bentley Continental GT

Good on you Gandalf, oh wait .
Ki always confuse those two's names
.
Lovely car.
If there’s only a select few in existence they should def add it to racing games
Forza series has this car, however the specs are based on how they were originally planned (twincharged I4 hybrid)
Driveclub does it best
If JLR threw a couple of turbo's at a 5 litre to make 800hp, plus a 200hp motor in the gearbox and it would have worked really well
Talk about a missed opportunity... Such a shame that car was never brought to market, even without the turbine technology

WooWee!
Wait, where's the strange people? Oh sorry it's been built by people who loved the brand, not a bunch of androgenous something's.
3:07 Sad that Jag is gay now 😂 Jokes aside beautiful car and amazing they made a stunt car to real car. Lanzante type of job .
The new Gayguar and this Jaguar are different brands. Keep that in mind.
Reality is always going to be a little more real than fantasy.
Of the 3, I prefer the 918 (as a more integrated design). Looks like a Porsche and goes like a Porsche. But, this is the best!
Yeah same here, the 918 looks like it would be the most versatile car, rather than just a track toy

Nah, we don't need racing games to enjoy cars.
Maybe Callum should take charge of Jaguar. I just seen the rebranding video for Jaguar. Full of Woke nonsense and EV rubbish.
Callum and TWR carrying the legacy 😂
Agreed!
Love this car if you play gta5 it’s the ocelot in gta
How to save Jaguar?......A new Ad with this car running over the Avant Garde models from their idiotic last attempt....
PD need to add this car and the normal P1 in GT7 i love the C-X75
No we don't
not a fan of the headlamps, but who am i
I love them!
GT7 update : Honda NSX NSX Gr.3 engine in Jeep Willys 🙏
