I've had eczema my entire life. I'm 30 years old and I've tried everything under the sun and nothing was ever effective. My coworker saw my skin one day and gave to me a bottle of neem oil. I never gave it much thought and just put it away and didn't think about it. That was a couple of months ago. Just recently I got a really bad eczema break out I was so desperate and applied some of that neem oil and guess what, it stopped the itch in its tracks! Never in my entire life have I taken something natural and applied it to my skin and have it stop the itch its tracks! Its been a couple of days and the eczema on the back of my knees are peeling off to reveal fresh skin underneath. Guys who ever reads this, please try neem oil, it will make a huge difference. I am able to sleep throughout the night without waking up itching. Neem oil!

Thank you very much im only 13 i have had eczema ever since i was born people always asked about it and i would get really worried that no one would like me, always tried creams but they just made me ich more and it would be worst than before but watching your video was very inspirering so thank you so much💞😸
Nakita Ngan-woo same its terrible I thought no one would like me because I have eczema but I have lots of friends that like me for who I am and don’t care that I have eczema
My eczema is caused by stress. That's a major cause, no steroids will help or the cutting out of dairy in the diet. So please everyone, try to control your stress level. Best wishes🤗🤗🤗
The most important thing to remember is to always love yourself for who you are❤️ I have had severe eczema since the aged of 2 and am now 22 years old. I would constantly cover up every inch of my body even when it was scorching heat outside and was the most insecure little girl. It would sometimes leave me with suicidal thoughts because I had just had enough of trying without any positive response. I became emotionally unstable and literally hated myself. Until one day somebody cured me with just her kind words. Her words were “there’s nothing wrong with you and nobody thinks there is so why do you? If you tell yourself your not well you won’t feel good about yourself. So tell yourself your fine and you will be.” And I did so. I stopped caring about what people thought, I focused on being happy in my skin and accepted who I was. And from that point my skin started healing. My skin is now better than ever to the point where you can hardly tell that I ever had eczema. So if you are struggling then please just love yourself because being happy with yourself is the key to it all.
Thank you so much Christina. I'm 18 and I was under depression with my life as each day was getting worse. On top of that I had chronic asthma too. I had your exact condition, I was enslaved by steroids and pills. Once again, thankyou so much for this channel, It is so much helpful to others as well. Great work
There are 3 types of allergic reaction 1.eczema 2.asthma 3.sinusitis All of them can be treated by using fish oil 1000mg per day non stop for 6 months it is proven succesful Just try its natural so dont worry . Steroid just to calm the symptom for a short term only
Thanks for sharing your story! I was nodding along the whole time, and I was so happy that many of the things that you said reflected upon my own journey. My dermatologist told me the same thing that they told you, and I just didn't like what they said. I've had eczema since 2, and I have tried so many of the things you said in your story. I'm glad I can see what my journey will lead me to :)
Anyone wanna be journey buddies? Basically someone to talk to about our eczema and healing it together (: i wanna talk to someone so bad who really understand what im going through. ^^
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I've had eczema for a while, but recently it's been spreading everywhere on my body. I feel like I needed to hear about your story. I feel inspired to change my diet and change up my routine, so thank you!
Thank you so much for this. Basically my skin has been addicted to a stronger steroid ever since I was born. I am 24 now and I felt like there had to be another way, so I went to a fancy dermatologist here in my area, and they kept trying to either give me a stronger steroid or they said, "have you tried plain old Vaseline?" ----Uuuhhh, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! So I took matters into my own hands and I tried the lactose free diet - I have fewer skin inflammations, fewer ASTHMA attacks as well! OH! and I've never really had it on my face until about a year and a half ago, and it is A.W.F.U.L, I've never been so embarrassed before. Thankfully it is clearing up just in time for my wedding in March. Aanyway, thank you so much for sharing your story.
Your video really touched me! I had the same issue and the dermatologist told me i had to be medicated indefinitely. Then i changed my diet and my routines. My eczema is under control now :)
Thank you so much for sharing about your experienced on this. I had my eczema right now and I really felt horrible about it. I was now felt so worried to go out in the house. This eczema was started since lockdown. And I really surprised about it because I never really had an allergies before. I hope I can cope with it asap. Thank you so much for all your videos.
sorry about that, I know how you feel. i've been dealing with it for awhile, now it's starting to show on my forehead, so now I'm mad! and aggressive about it and determined to overcome it. how are you now?
One thing I know is, what works for me might not work for you, and vice versa. People have different eczema triggers. for example, mine are nuts/soy.I'm asian, so nearly in every food there's nuts/soy 😩. I know about this when I went to my dermatologist and he run some test on me (simmilar to an allergy test). After finding that out, I completely changed my diet, and my eczema started to go away😄 (It has been about 3 years since I have eczema). My suggestion is that you get an appointment with your dermatologist and sit down to figure your trigger. hope this helps 😊. TIPS ON ON DEALING WITH THE ITCHY-NESS: - soak in cold water/rub with ice cube - if using oil doesn't help then STOP. it means that the oil is no longer moisturizing your skin, it's actually starting to 'clog' it.so, HYDRATE your skin with water not OIL it 😳 - try to use products that doesn't have sls (sodium laureth sulfate) in it. it dries your skin. I suggest looking at baby products.
Thank you so much.Your video is so inspiring.Im 26 and suffered eczema for almost 6yrs,yeah a nightmare to me!I will try to stop consuming all dairy products and see what will happen.I hope it works
my skin on face is terrible it has been thinned and discolored by 5 years steroid cream use which was potent. Apparently it is permenant :'( I guess my life is fu**** now. On the other hand it has been said wheatgrass reverse steroid atrophy so I will give that a shot and pray it heals and skin goes back to normal. sorry for long essay I'm so worried about my skin
Not permanent you gotta look into tsw topical steroid withdrawal. This is the answer. This is super tough but read up in it this is the answer. We have a ton of communities tryna spread the word. Its not eczema anymore the steroids turn it into topical steroid addiction.
boi : how is your skin now i was also using mild steroid cream For 8 months now i have stopped using it.. what to do for dry skin ? Is your skin normal now?
Swaggination it is absolutely not permanent same thing happened to my face cuz of steroid use, im currently going through steroid cream withdrawal to finally restore my skin's natural health. You can heal it and reverse it. Stop using all chemical products.stop or try to reduce all processed foods. Find a naturopathic doctor to consult. Stop the steroid creams. Use natural ingredients for your skin. Eat natural alkapime foods and be patient. Topical steroid withdrawal is a journey but i swear it's worth it
I have only got eczema since having Moderna booster vaccination. Yes a DVT in my left leg first which developed into eczema . Never had it before the vaccination. I also saw two similar cases in the hospital on the legs of two other people like mine. I suffered with this for four months until our local health nurse seen me and diagnosed it and started treatment to deal with it. So if anyone you know has had a rash after the vaccination there’s a good chance it’s eczema and get them to see their health care people and arrange treatment for it.
It all depends on which kind of eczema you've got, as well. Atopic dermatitis is a chronic skin disease that cannot be reversed, it can only be treated in every current situation. Even if cutting out dairy means you have less flare-ups, you still suffer from the condition. And steroid creams are no worse than other types of medication - just look at birth control. That stuff has tons of side effects and millions of women use it anyway. However, I will say, that it's true that omitting certain foods or other aggravating things CAN help. For instance, atopic dermatits often corrolates with asthma and allergies. Atopic dermatitis is your skin's immune system working overtime and attacking itself. As we know, allergy medicin stiffles your immune system (so that your body doesn't recognize that you are allergic to the dog next to you, for instance). Taking allergy medicin therefore can make flare-ups less prominent. However, even better is simply removing the allergen, so if you're allergic to dust, clean your house really well. Your body will react less to that, and thus might react with less eczema (if those two things are what you have). If it's food, ommit those foods. Expensive treatments are useless for that kind of eczema, apart from light therapy, which you get through your doctor. But I might try avoiding dairy for a while, it might help.
Hi, I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for sharing your story. It's amazing to see stories like this pop up, as I, myself have eczema too. It's been roughly 3 months since I had a huge flare up of eczema. I went through several moisturisers, cleansers, creams and all of that, even anti biotics and steroids. This happened on Christmas eve and I went to the hospital Christmas day of last year. As I think of it, I'm 17 with food allergies, pet allergies, seasonal allergies and even dust allergies. There are so many factors and triggers to my eczema. My eczema took a toll on me, because it was on my face and neck. Showering would hurt my skin, and I would be afraid to shower. I would detest it so much. I was basically a reptile during that time, I was scaling so much and my self confidence fell with it. I was swelling and all my family during that time, questioned my face and asked if I were okay. It took around a month for my skin to heal, rebuild its barriers. I went through more drugs then I needed too. I took at least 4 pills a day, prescribed by the hospital. I took another 4 pills a day after seeing my dermatologist. The pills from the hospital did stop the inflamed skin and cooled it. After I finished taking them, my skin started to shed but then it flamed up again. I went from using my regular cera ve, to tryinng cetaphil again, to vaseline, curel and then I met a lady at my local drug mart in the cosmetics section. This was roughly in the beginning of January. I was once agian trying another cosmetics product, which I really had no faith in. It was called Bioderma, and the other Avene. This lady had a niece which had eczema. We obviously tested the product. It was a bioderma sensitive skin facial moisturiser which closed my cracks in my skin. God, it hurt like hell but I sat in the store and waiting. Then she gave me Avene hand creme to put on my face. For the mean time of 2 weeks, it did work on my face until my face started to retort it and go back to being dry. We went to try something new and met another person who actually had eczema herself. She introduced me to La Roche Posay. This was roughly late January. I was using their Lipikar line of shower gel and baume ap + cream. These two things have improved my skin, but now my skin is just dry, The cream does nothing to help my skin. It's weird but I can rub off my skin after continuosly rubbing it when it is wet. My dead skin can peel off with rubbing. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas? I'm deciding on going back to see if the same lady is there and maybe I could use something less concentrated on the lipids of my skin. I need to remove my dry skin. That's all that is left to do. I'm also deciding on maybe testing my diet because I'm realising chicken is starting to bother me now.
You give me so much hope !!! I am currently going through the worst break out I’ve ever had !! Even got a skin infection. I already cut dairy like 3 weeks ago!! ❤️
I so needed to hear this. Hearing a story where something actually worked. I'm sat here with a pins and needles sensation across my whole body, my skin is already cracking with multiple open sores and I'm already thinking about the closest object that I can use to damage the skin on my back in order for the itching sensation to go away for a little while. I've been applying moisturiser on myself all day and I'm at the point of wanting to cry once again from feeling hopeless. But you know what, I think you're right. I REALLY, really hope that dairy is the answer because it would explain a lot.
I have had eczema for my whole life and I am 15...my skin has always held me back from the pleasures of life I have tried everything...and nothing really worked..I was about to give up and just except that this was my life and I just had to deal with it....but after a saw your videos I realize that I should keep trying....thank you
I wonder, why specialists always give us steroid? They really don’t know other and better ways to helps us ( of course specialists are smart and rich and read a lot of book) they don’t know terrible it is? I just went to see a Super expensive specialist in skin center and 5 hrs Q, then she just give me same cream happily event I reject and say I decided not to use it anymore, but she say the cream is helping me anyway. Omg what happened in their mind pls, save this specialists will be more effective, the doc really got problems.
Hello! Thanks for your info! I will follow your website. All my best to hope your program are getting greater! I am 26 years old and got a little bit eczema on my cheek....Using Aquaphor helps but I was told it is not curable.... I am so afraid it will getting worse. I would say I rather have eczema on the body but on my my face....I have good skin in general
ive been an acne sufferer for most of my life. due to having acne, my face was constantly oily but few months back it became somewhat dry. i thought i finally grew out of it however, i discovered weird patches on my sideburn area and the back of my neck. so i decided to get it checked, the specialist couldn't confirm what it was and did a biopsy however she still couldn't make out of the results. On my follow up earlier today with another doctor, she confirmed with me it was eczema and ive got new patches on my back and on my legs (which i guess makes it obvious). she told me that people could grow out of child eczema however adult eczema is "here to stay". my heart sank when i heard that. after watching your video, i felt inspired and i know all hope is not lost. Thank you so much beautiful!
Thank you for sharing your story!!! So many people are suffering and need to know of all that one is trying in helping stop this Eczema. I too had an outbreak back in 2008 and felt so depressed. I am so grateful that through a change of diet and temporary use of the creams prescribed, I am back to feeling confident. I still get a little bit of it every now and then and know stress is a big contributor. I try to be a very positive person but sometimes it's not easy. Thanks again!!! Peace and love!
Imma try no dairy because I have chronic eczema and have had since I could remember. I’ve tried EVERYTHING AND NOTHING WORKS!! I take meds and I have a cream and I use different soaps and butters ! I’ve Spent so much MONEY!! I’m SO STRESSED !!! So hopefully this works I’ll keep you updated.
Amazing video! You give me so much hope right now!! could you please make a video on how you get rid of the horrible eczema scars that are left behind x
Amazing story! Removing dairy and a few other common foods really helped to improve my son's skin as well. So glad you're doing well now - your skin is GORGEOUS!
I had pretty bad eczema on my arms and they got heavily discolored. Everyone always questioned about them and I kind of felt embarrassed about it. Luckily i was able to regain color over the years. U have a great story thx for sharing!
Hi Catrina - cut out bread, sugar and changed shower soap and shampoo - and it worked! Not sure what the “trigger” was but the eczema is on its way out.
Thank you for sharing this, Christina! What a beautiful story! I love your tips about the critical role that diet plays in chronic skin problems. I had skin problems since birth. I was diagnosed with eczema since I was 12. After using steroids for 30 years for seborrheic eczema, I struggled with severe skin problems, even with more steroids. Then chronic sleeping problems, brain fog, and depression came… My search began in 2014 out of sheer desperation. I kept searching for how to lower inflammation in the body - because I felt like I was on fire, burning from inside. And my skin was red, itchy, dry, and smelly. My search led me to a book, The Autoimmune Solution by Amy Myers. I didn't have an autoimmune disease. But the book explained in-depth about the connection between immune systems, inflammation, and food. So I followed the "Anti-Inflammatory Diet" in the book. As you mentioned, this diet's key point was to lower inflammation in the body, significantly reducing skin problems. I was skeptical at first, and it seemed like a lot of work. And a huge shift in my lifestyle. But I felt like I had no other choice. So 8/2015 - I pulled the trigger and started a three-week trial of going gluten-free and dairy-free. Just by removing gluten and dairy from my diet, I could get off steroids for the first time in my life in 30 years. I have been free of taking steroidal medicine since then. First, the symptoms were worse, but they eventually got better and manageable. (this could be the withdrawal effect from steroids for 30-year b/c I went cold turkey during this phase). In 6/2016, I finally went all-in with the "Anti-Inflammatory Diet." The diet was restrictive - no diary, no gluten, no grain, no nightshade vegetables. It was tough because I LOVE FOOD, and I love to explore all different cuisines. But I saw the changes in my skin and overall health. And I lost 12 Lbs I was never able to before this diet. Also, my night sweat was getting better, and my joint and muscle pain were getting better. However, diet restriction was challenging to adjust. It limited to many things I enjoyed so much, such as cheese and wine. But I was so happy that I felt healthier. So I was very hopeful. Then 3/2018, something totally unexpected happened. I became very sick without a diagnose. At this point, I had been following the "Anti-Inflammatory Diet" very closely while investing a lot of time educating myself about gut health, hormonal balance, and microbiome. During about 2 years of the "Anti-Inflammatory Diet," I noticed that my food sensitivities were getting worse. It was so bad that I ate a cookie one day over a Christmas holiday - I was in bed for 3 days because it made me so sick. Since I was very sick, and no doctors' visit seemed to move the needle of my health, I even tried harder to stick to the "Anti-Inflammatory Diet." It had worked before when I had flare-ups before, so I thought this time around it would work again. I even stopped drinking, not even a sip of drink for 4 months - which I didn't even know I could do that before. BUT nothing happened. I was just as sick, not a shred of improvement after 4 months of trying so hard. In 7/2018, I started wondering if I'm missing something. It made no sense that I was so sick, and all my bloodwork came out perfectly normal. So I started digging deeper again. I found out something I've never heard before. Per Dr. Mario Martinez, "immune system is not only a protector but confirmer of your belief." In other words, by believing that gluten is toxic to my body, my immune system would over-react to gluten. I know it sounds crazy. But this field of study is called "psychoneuroimmunology" - your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs interact with your immune systems and nervous system. The good news is that you can naturally reverse all your symptoms - get clear skin by teaching your immune system to calm down and not be overactive. Just last Saturday, I shared a Banh-mi (Vietnamese sandwich) with my husband and had a small glass of beer. I was smiling while I was eating because it was something I couldn't even dream of just a couple of years ago. My skin is clear and beautiful now - without any medication. Wow.. that was a long story… I hope perhaps my story helps some skin suffers and gives them hope. Sincerely, Sun
So happy for you! I noticed diet helps my eczema *a lot* but it's so random too. I usually skip dairy, but the other day I ate chocolate and pizza, and it had no negative affect on my skin. I dont get it lmao. Im trying diatamaceos earth and sea buckthorn seed oil next, plus trying to keep my skin moisturized all the time and limit showering. Eczema sucks!!
Thank you for this video. It seems like people often overlook the importance of diet in skin health, and dairy certainly appears to be a big cause of skin problems.
This is literally me right now. I’m 20 & ive had eczema all my life. I’ve tried everything ,used every pill & tried every cream. I’m usually so self cautious & embarrassed of my skin. It’s honestly a journey. People ask you “what is that” it’s embarrassing . I just want something that will work for me & make me feel good about myself.
Im so happy that i found you! I always felt so alone when it came to this topic as none of my friends seemed to have it or only had it at a very mild level. I've never known a life without eczema as i had it even as a tiny baby. My eczema was so bad at some points that when i wake up and get out of bed, the sheets and pillow would be covered in blotches of blood from my eczema. I couldn't move some parts of my body sometimes coz it just was so sore and i was even hospitalised for a short amount of time (recently discharged as an out-patient now!!). Now it's calmed down a lot with the help of steroid creams (as much as i despise using and relying on them) but it still flames up every now and then and I'm constantly reminded when it calms down with scars all over my body. seriously hoping your tip will help me with my eczema journey!! :)
want any suggestion? My pharmacist's patients tried 1. fish oil 1000mg per day for 6months non stop 2.aqueous cream to moisturise your skin and 3. piriton when needed for 2 months Then she completely healed after that
I cut out glutenous foods and that has helped me tremendously. My skin regimen: I wash with kojie sans soap to lighten scarring. I then pat my neck down with apple cider vinegar. I follow up with olive oil. And I end using an anti -itch cream (for me that's cortisone for eczema). I haven't discovered any natural product that will keep me itch free all day but when or if I do, I'm throwing the cortisone in the trash. I'm just about completely cleared and my dark spots are quickly fading. I've been doing the regimen for about a week now but I've been on a diet for several months. It's so important to find out what the trigger is and then deal with the symptoms.
I just got eczema on my face and honestly I never faced something like this my face was always clear and so smooth never have I ever had a problem now I can't even have my flawless make up with out even crying because my face is so bumpy and ugly I even have breakouts and I never get them but I literally live on dairy but I'll try to cut it out if it means flawless skin thank you ❤️❤️
Hi friend, I reviewed this face bar for dry skin that has MADE MY SKIN SOOOOOO soft on my channel check it out! I am so in love with it!! If you have dry skin, psoriasis, eczema I really think this can help you like it helped me
Melanie toma I know how you feel! My face is so bad at the moment; so red, dry and itchy. Even worse when it’s flakey. I don’t wear make up, so it’s always on show.
Hey Christina! I already follow your blogs and recieve your emails but this is just another amazing story! So inspirational! Ive slowly cut out wheat and have already noticed a difference in my skin. Dairy will be a tab harder, would love to see more recipes you use or dairy substitutes from you. I just subscribed! :)
thank u , i hope it will change my life..had a skin mental breakdown last night, sleepless and hopefully after 20 years of atopic dermatologis i will get over it
I live in Nevada and in summer I had to wear jackets or long sleeved shirts to cover my eczema. Nobody was my friend and I used creams, prescription from doctors, etc.(nothing changed and I still Have no friends.). People who has eczema lives a hard life. My skin basically fell off and I exfoliate. (I still don't have smooth skin) When I was 7 years old, I had huge cracks, wounds, and etc the itched 24/7. My grandparents took me to treatments and I had to drink bitter medicine, bathe in some other stuff. Then one day they said that drinking snake soup would help then I got crazy and wounds started bleeding cause I was apparently allergic to snake. :( When I was a teen I had basically given up. Until I had known there were recoveries. When I was a baby I was allergic to milk, dairy, eggs, some meat, seafood, basically everything. So now I will try my best do cure it!!!!!!!!! P.S.: people wont understand the pain and they'll think your a monster they WILL bully you and your family will think your a disgrace especially when you have siblings who are "considered prettier" than you and that is why i am depressed.
Hi Chris, I also follow your blog and subscribed for your emails. I would like to tell you that your videos were truly the most informative and helpful thing I could find online. I still have a long road to go until I have flawless skin, but hopefully I'll just keep trying to change my lifestyle until I get there. You are really doing a wonderful job xx
Hi Cristina, thanks for your comment. I'm so glad my website was able to help you! It's great you're looking into lifestyle changes for your skin, a lot changed for me when I did. :) Keep going, you'll get there!
Your story is very inspiring.I have been dealing with severe eczema since 2 years old and I am still trying many products after TSW. I'm thinking about going vegan and starting a youtube channel to tell my story.
Wow I really love and appreciate this video. I've had eczema since I was little and it would always come and go but recently I've had a really severe breakout . Like literally , when I was younger I would only get eczema in certain places but about 3-4 months ago I Broke out with chest acne. I never had that a day in my life but anyways shortly after that it began to spread to my scalp which is the worse .The first doctor I went to gave me TWO steroid shots , THREE different medications, & 3 different creams to use on my body . I regret it so much ! At first I didn't really think much of it because I was willing to do anything to get better . After taking those meds for about 3 weeks my eczema cleared for literally 1-2 weeks and came back even worse then before. I had it all over my scalp, my face, under my chin, my chest, my back, my stomach, waisteline, and even under my breasts. When i went to a second doctor he diagnoised me with seborrohic dermatitis. Once again I never suffered from eczema this bad. I've been to about 3 doctor's and they all do the same they proscribed you with all types of meds which really don't work . I even changed my bedding as well but that does not help . I then started doing research and every article I read tells you to stay away from the steroids they DO NOT help at all . Watching your video just confirmed everything I read, and your so right your diet is a huge part. I eat horrible ! All I eat is fast food and sugary products. I noticed right after I drink something with a lot of sugar I start stratching again. The only thing i found so far that soothes me is the Eucerin Intensive Care Lotion & i believe its because it has caster oil in it . I thank you so much for this I'm going to change my entire diet because I can't take this anymore. Everything you said in this video is SOOOO TRURE ! Having chronic eczema is EXTREMELY Depressing!
I actually just tried to search for Eczema today and found your video, it's very eye opening, i've always tried to avoid these videos cause I thought it would be pointless and I was scared as well. But now, I will give your tips a try. :)
That was amazing! I was planning to visit a dermatologist again because the parts of my body with affected part because of eczema are starting to itch since it's summer and I have discoloration too on these areas.. I was hoping to find products that help me. Anyways thank you for this video, kinda make me think about the food that I eat, I drink milk every morning and before sleeping at night .. oh my golly! Hahaha
just remember that people have different reactions to foods and things we use. like milk. for me milk is so good I love dairy but it also makes my skin really bad and in flamed. cold water is something you should use when your skin fells in flamed but don't just jump in a shower use ice cubs and dab them on so the skin will feel nice and that can take away flamed skin and is really nice
Girrrl, I did stop dairy and honestly my skin is so so much better. I had the ezema for eight months straight. But no more dairy for me and I pray the ezema stays away
Thank you so much for the information I want to try it out this time my girl suffers from exzema n like u said I have tried all the creams n lotions subsides then suddenly breaks again.....thank you so much God bless u
My daughter had eczema, i refused to use steroid creams and other pharmaceutical products. I took her to a herbalist, we changed her diet. The first thing removed was dairy and anything containing whey. Oranges, raspberries, pork are a few other items i remember removing from her diet. Fast forward 23 years and my daughters skin is beautiful and flawless. No eczema ever again. Basically people, WE ARE WHAT WE EAT!
Try water fasting. It helped me great deal with my rosacea and lichen planus. Check out various videos on water fasting here on you tube. Just a 3 day water fast will change your life
Lol when you're allergic to dairy and never consume it, but your eczema is still trying to come for your life. I've been using steroid creams for years and I don't know how to get off them, my skin gets insane when I don't use them and I'm basically forced to put them on again. WHAT DO I DO!!
+CAGary3G hi, dairy was just my personal trigger but eczema can be triggered by different things for different people. If you want to try changing your diet too, check out my other video on eczema diets that work!
you might want to try a non-inflammatory diet which could have some positive effects on your skin. Dairy is a common trigger but other things can trigger a flare-up like broccoli or oatmeal because they cause inflammation.
Try talking to your dermatologist about this. It sounds like you’re developing Red Skin Syndrome (this is how mine started out) and you will have to go through withdrawl and it’s gonna suck.
CAGary3G try cetaphil restoraderm. The soap and the moisturizer. I always advice it to my friends who are experiencing it too. I found out about it when I was at the point where I was already frustrated to all the products the says for eczema. My daughter's skin was so in bad shape at that time. Then after researching a lot, I stop using just normal detergent soap, I am now using for sensitive skin kind of detergent without perfume . Then I only use cotton for her clothes. Then finally the CETAPHIL RESTORADERM , when she shower followed my the moisturizer as her lotion. I am now using the moisturizer for my seborrheic dermatitis. The itch goes away so fast. It's just a bit pricey but it's worth it.
Hello I have only just found you after frantically searching TH-cam for an answer! I used to eat a lot of chocolate! And even since I've stopped my eczema has been getting so much better! And I don't eat that much dairy either but I was just wondering if it is the gluten or lactose that affects the eczema because I don't think I could fully give up on dairy! Thank you for reading and thanks in advance for the answer!! Backstory: I've suffered with severe eczema all over my legs, in the crease of my elbow on my hands, on my chest and on my face for as long as I can remember and probably even before that! I've always just trusted the doctors with these creams that I can't pronounce. But I decided it's time I make a chance and try so this is what I'm trying now
I have eczema as well. It comes and goes but it’s not too bad, thankfully. It’s just really itchy when it flares up. I don’t think I could give up dairy completely tbh. All my favorite food have it. 😂 I always moisturize after shower and I’m good 90% of the time.
i have eczema for 12yrs and the doctor says im allergic to foods such as chicken, eggs and seafoods which I really love to eat but then i got tired of listening to them and got tired of limiting myself for what i would eat and what i wouldn't. So i disobeyed all the things they said and hopefully my eczema didnt comeback unless I eat too much of the food that i am allergic.
I have had eczema since I was born. My eczema wasn't bad until I moved to America, I would always cry myself to sleep, my sheets would be bloody. The dermatologist gave my lots of cream but non of them worked ! I was always sad....I couldn't be a normal kid and eat candy, my mom would buy me candy. She bought it sometimes but not all the time. My parents would also almost cry because of my crying every night. I was scared to go to school. I always thought I looked ugly and horrible. I felt bad. My mom told me to stay away from dairy and spice's. I noticed that whenever I ate fruit yogurt I itched sooo bad. Staying away from spice's also helped a little !! I was so happy when I saw this video ! Thx for the information !! 😖😭😍💕👍
Hi Christina. I'm also an eczema person, Atopic Dermatitis to be exact. And those breakouts you showed in this video are all too familiar to me! Eczema has taken over my life for so long..there were times my breakouts were so bad I couldn't move and had a hard time taking baths..I've tried so many dermas too.Right now the only doctor I've kept is my allergy doctor for about 15 years. I have allergy shots twice a month, used to be every week, for about more than 10 years already ; the dosage should decrease soon to once/month. This year, I've leveled-up on eating the right food too and I would say my eczema is a bit more manageable ; but its still not ok. My legs have a lot of marks, discoloration etc and so are my arms..my feet are the worst!! :( My hand now has started to get really dry and ugly too. Anyway, my question is 1. I've watched a lot of DIY stuff for eczema like baking soda, oils etc etc have you tried that?? i'm a bit scared to do that. 2. what's your regular lotions/skin routine? Thank you
currently my skin looks exactly like all of your before pics... UGH! I can't figure out why b/c I am allergic to and stopped eating dairy, soy, wheat, fish, shellfish and tree nuts. My skin will clear momentarily but only for a week or so then its back full force. As you can imagine I don't know what to eat anymore. lol I'm on a mission to find the cause so wish me luck
Maybe try to check salicylates and histamines in food? I was also removing those things, but when I tried that, it finally cleared red areas. But it's really hard to follow such a strict diet.
hello past me. I grew out of my allergies however when I was still allergic to everything you are I lived off of as much fruits and veggies as possible, beans and barley, cassava, meats, try looking at what grains have glutten in them because I know I am wheat sensitive. Try making your own rice milk or buying it I grew up on the stuff. Try feverfew internally it works wonders for me. Lavender, Chammomile baths are amazing. Try minimizing your stress levels, mix and match to see what triggers you in terms of perfumes, chemicals that sort of thing, acupuncture is a great tool, try to use as much all natural things as possible, good luck from an excema sister!
Just found you and I've had really bad eczema my entire life. I've tried cutting out foods before to help clear my skin but have only been able to last a day or two. I've given up dairy, gluten, and sugar(aside from natural fruits). I've been able to stick to this for 5 days so far and your story has really given me motivation! :)
Marie Christine Hey. How did you go about cutting out dairy from your diet? Did you cut out just the main dairy products? what foods did you cut out? I've decided to cut out the dairy. i just don't know where to start.
Marche Teasley I've taken out everything and anything that has dairy in it.....which is extremely difficult. And it takes a lot of label reading. But I am almost 3 weeks in without. I will say I haven't seen much of a change in my skin though...if anything it's actually gotten worse but I've heard people say it gets worse before it gets better. I've been eating a lot of vegetables, rice, and chicken. Rice milk is a pretty good milk alternative. I am allergic to almond so I can't drink that and it's hard to find coconut milk without sugar. Ive also taken soy out of my diet since I posted that last comment. Hope this helped and I didn't ramble on too much
Marie Christine OMG thanks for your reply. I'm desperate to get rid of this disease but I'm kind of nervous to start the diet. Would you later on give me an update of how your skin is doing with the diet?
I’ve had eczema since I was 3. I’m 13 now. I’ve tried all sorts of lotions and they only worked temporarily. If you drink a teaspoon of raw apple cider vinegar everyday it will really do the trick!
I’ve always had eczema on my hands to the point where it’s now effected my nails. This winter eczema started showing up on my feet, it’s so bad right now that I cannot wear closed in shoes, I’m over it. I’ve been vegetarian for many years, however my diet is very processed and bad. I’m going to try avoiding dairy and gluten for a week and see how my feet go 🤞
Just reading these comments makes me feel motivated to change. My eczema is so extreme all over my body. Leaving a lot of scars on my arms and legs. After my showers I feel so disgusting. I Even take steroid pills and as soon as I'm done with them my whole body gets even worst
Hey there, I was just wondering if you could do a video on the pigmentation. I have eczema and has patches off it. If you could help that would be amazing girl. Thankyou for your videos, I’ve been following your tips all the way x
I know how you feel about being so constantly concerned with your skin aha, about 6 months ago I got contact dermatitis really bad around my eyes and it never really went away and just kept coming up so unpredictably, however more recently it's really really starting to go away out of no where and I don't have to worry about having red inflamed skin around the eyes or constantly dry flaking skin and I can finally wear makeup again and it feels so good to not worry about my skin as much anymore so fingers crossed it stays gone!! 🙏 was good to hear you managed to help your skin become better! Your really beautiful btw
I don't eat dairy, but still have eczema. I didn't stop eating dairy because of eczema. I just never really ate dairy. I don't eat red meat either. My diet is heavily plant based with some grains like brown rice. Still get eczema outbreaks weekly..especially around my eyes. Any suggestions?
+UUtv 먹어볼까? Is diet what you're looking for? :) I have another video " 3 diets to clear skin". Feel free to check it out, I talk about some good stuff over there!
I just watched this video and after suffering from eczema for 16 years it’s really inspiring to stop hiding it and start treating it, I am also you’re 8,000 subscriber ♥️
I don't consume diary at all but I'm still an eczema baby. I have had it all my life. My advice is, cut out anything that has yeast. Make smoothies with vegetables that are anti inflammation or drink some turmeric tea first thing in the morning. Believe you me, your skin will thank you later. Ohh don't use soap. Rather bath with oats meal mixed with honey.
Omg I found this channel and video and this is gonna save me!!! I am not lying cuz I have bad eczema on my hands, arms, and body, also face. I'm 12 and I am very sad with my life cuz I really want a cure faast. The steroids are just making them worse,I know it. My dad pressures me about taking the creams 2 times a day and I'm so tired of it. Help meeeeee
love it , this really motivated me to start my journey on flawless skin . Most of my life I have been dealing with skin issues then about two years 3 years ago I started to deal with eczema which is visible on my arms and legs , which makes me so uncomfortable and I'm always covering up .I love in a tropical country so it's even worst because of the heat .
Hey, I’m an 11 year old, and I have a little bit of eczema.. so it all began itching, in one spot.. and it itched, so I scratched, thinking it was just those darn ol’ mosquitoes back at their biting. But nope.. once I realized that it was spreading on parts that don’t seem like mosquitoes would get, I searched it up. I found eczema. I realized that I might have it. It is slowly spreading (sadly), and I am trying my best to cure it. Anyway other remedies? :(
almond lavender baths, all natural moisturizer, try cutting back on processed foods and glutten, avoid perfumes and air fresheners and trying clothes on at a store. You gotta experiment and listen to your body and ask it what it needs and doesn't want. Good luck!
Anyone who is thinking about stopping eating dairy products, make sure you have the recommended daily 1000mg of calcium. Calcium is key in the production of sebum and has an important role in wound healing and skin-cell regeneration. High concentrations of calcium in the epidermis cause rapid cell turnover. In fact Eczema is one of the signs of Calcium deficiency.
Stress is a massive factor, I tried for a year cutting dairy out even wheat and eggs and found no difference. Causing me to stress and worry an worry about what more do I have to do. Now iv started to implement dairy back into my diet an iv found that it's not gone worse
+tanafc96 that's great you can have dairy again... wish I was you! Everyone's eczema trigger is different and it sounds like you found yours with stress. 😊 Good luck on your flawless journey!
I'm 12 and I get bad eczema on my face, arms, neck and legs. If I don't use creams I'll break out very easily. Once I was at grade 6 camp at Phillip island and the change in climate made my face red, blotchy and itchy. I always wore a scarf around my mouth and covered up my body. It's really tough, but I realised there were people worse off than me or have the same issues, turns out there is! Right now I'm using an antiseptic creams before bed or if it dries up, along with paw paw. It's better, but still bad? I'm quite embarrassed of it but I know it'll get better in the end :)) I'll also try to not eat as much dairy as I usually do. I wanna end up like you and be as wonderful and confident JUST LIKE YOU! Thank you for this video xxx
try going to a good GOOD dermatologist (because a bad one is going to make everything worse) and take a test to see your food intolerances!! also, if you get easily stressed try going to a psychologist because stress triggers eczema really bad :( for me, everytime (since i have eczema) i went to a trip i had really bad breakouts so i went to the conclusion that i can't go on trips 😭😭😭
I was 16 when one of my relatives suggested me a cream containing hydroquinone for pigmentation.. I was a kid and didn't know what it was.. I swear I hate when I think about how I spoiled my skin.. it's been two years and I couldn't stop using it.. it would make my skin darker and even worse when I stop it.. but eventually I stopped and consulted a doctor right after a week.. it's bad but it could've been worse.. so I'm happy that I'm off those steroids
Neem oil!
Ty. Gonna try this
Here's a great treatment for eczema: HootSkin.xyz
Did it burn when you applied it?
Dupixent
Did you dilute it before you applied it?
I am experiencing eczema for over few weekss noww !! I have it around my eyelids !! Soo ; i dealt with it now naturally and improved my skin so well!!

Nakita Ngan-woo same its terrible I thought no one would like me because I have eczema but I have lots of friends that like me for who I am and don’t care that I have eczema
Nakita Ngan-woo I am 12 and I had it ever since I was born
My eczema is caused by stress. That's a major cause, no steroids will help or the cutting out of dairy in the diet. So please everyone, try to control your stress level. Best wishes🤗🤗🤗
Same here...
Same here. Help us oh Lord
How??? My eczema just makes me more stressed and depressed, leading to not wanting to be productive which leads to more stress.
You looked great in those videos with your dad Nat King Cole
Same here and lack of sleep can worsen my E:/
You had eczema??? Oh my god your skin is beautiful right now!
Eczema is very problems in the word
Thank you so much Christina. I'm 18 and I was under depression with my life as each day was getting worse. On top of that I had chronic asthma too. I had your exact condition, I was enslaved by steroids and pills. Once again, thankyou so much for this channel, It is so much helpful to others as well. Great work
There are 3 types of allergic reaction
1.eczema
2.asthma
3.sinusitis
All of them can be treated by using fish oil 1000mg per day non stop for 6 months it is proven succesful Just try its natural so dont worry .

Im 19 and I've had Eczema since I was 2 years old and this video is so inspiring and i can't wait to get my skin looking flawless 😍😭
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I've had eczema for a while, but recently it's been spreading everywhere on my body. I feel like I needed to hear about your story. I feel inspired to change my diet and change up my routine, so thank you!
I've been drinking collagen my body started itching having like insects biti
Thank you so much. I'm now going to do whatever it takes to rid eczema from my life ❤️
Thank you so much for this.
It can also be due to stress dear
Yep, I've stopped dairy and wheat recently and added vitamin b5, vitamin d3, and omega 3... my skin is looking so much better!
TIPS ON ON DEALING WITH THE ITCHY-NESS:
- soak in cold water/rub with ice cube
- if using oil doesn't help then STOP. it means that the oil is no longer moisturizing your skin, it's actually starting to 'clog' it.so, HYDRATE your skin with water not OIL it 😳
- try to use products that doesn't have sls (sodium laureth sulfate) in it. it dries your skin. I suggest looking at baby products.
Can I please know what test he did on you? I am suffering since 7 years but no cure, please help me out🙃
Thank you so much.Your video is so inspiring.Im 26 and suffered eczema for almost 6yrs,yeah a nightmare to me!I will try to stop consuming all dairy products and see what will happen.I hope it works
my skin on face is terrible it has been thinned and discolored by 5 years steroid cream use which was potent. Apparently it is permenant :'( I guess my life is fu**** now. On the other hand it has been said wheatgrass reverse steroid atrophy so I will give that a shot and pray it heals and skin goes back to normal. sorry for long essay I'm so worried about my skin
Swaggination yeah same here... I hate looking at myself in a mirror
Swaggination WAIT WHY DID U USE IT ON UR FACE THE STUFF IS TO FUCKING STRONG
I'm also deciding on maybe testing my diet because I'm realising chicken is starting to bother me now.
so sad, it's really upsetting!
How are you doing now?
Omg what happened in their mind pls, save this specialists will be more effective, the doc really got problems.
doctors and dermatologists WANT us to be sick, a dermatologist gave me antibiotics and now I'm feeling weaker than before and my skin got worse
Your so beautiful and taken dairy out of my diet REALLY HELPED ME!! Stay away from peanuts too!
ive been an acne sufferer for most of my life. due to having acne, my face was constantly oily but few months back it became somewhat dry. i thought i finally grew out of it however, i discovered weird patches on my sideburn area and the back of my neck. so i decided to get it checked, the specialist couldn't confirm what it was and did a biopsy however she still couldn't make out of the results.
I can relate every single word of yours .May god bless you.
I am suffering past six years.
And still don't find what exactly triggers me .
Thank you, Christina... Totally stopping dairy has helped me drastically to cure eczema.
Amazing video! You give me so much hope right now!! could you please make a video on how you get rid of the horrible eczema scars that are left behind x
+A I so glad to hear that! 😊 Great suggestion too, subscribe to see my next one.

Amazing story! Removing dairy and a few other common foods really helped to improve my son's skin as well. So glad you're doing well now - your skin is GORGEOUS!
Thank you so much, I'm so glad your son's skin improved after changing diet too.
You look amazing.
Lilia H ..
I had pretty bad eczema on my arms and they got heavily discolored. Everyone always questioned about them and I kind of felt embarrassed about it. Luckily i was able to regain color over the years. U have a great story thx for sharing!
Blessed 😇 Happy New year all Thanks for sharing these videos Chris Blessings.
Sincerely,
Sun
Woah, she’s pretty!
I understand you because i am fhe same you.
My pharmacist's patients tried
1. fish oil 1000mg per day for 6months non stop
2.aqueous cream to moisturise your skin and
3. piriton when needed for 2 months
Then she completely healed after that
I cut out glutenous foods and that has helped me tremendously.
To specify: I use the Cortizone 10 cream for eczema. You can buy it over the counter at your local drug store
If you have dry skin, psoriasis, eczema I really think this can help you like it helped me
i had bad eczema on my face, it took like a month to clear up. i used african black soap, life saver!
Same! My skin used to be FLAWLESS now I look like a beetroot
Melanie toma I know how you feel! My face is so bad at the moment; so red, dry and itchy. Even worse when it’s flakey. I don’t wear make up, so it’s always on show.
mckenzie lol what brand of African black soap do you use?
Hey Christina! I already follow your blogs and recieve your emails but this is just another amazing story! So inspirational! Ive slowly cut out wheat and have already noticed a difference in my skin. Dairy will be a tab harder, would love to see more recipes you use or dairy substitutes from you. I just subscribed! :)
Thank you!
thank u , i hope it will change my life..had a skin mental breakdown last night, sleepless and hopefully after 20 years of atopic dermatologis i will get over it
I live in Nevada and in summer I had to wear jackets or long sleeved shirts to cover my eczema.
Hahaha
Thank you for sharing your story. Having eczema is frightening at times.
just remember that people have different reactions to foods and things we use. like milk. for me milk is so good I love dairy but it also makes my skin really bad and in flamed. cold water is something you should use when your skin fells in flamed but don't just jump in a shower use ice cubs and dab them on so the skin will feel nice and that can take away flamed skin and is really nice
wow what a wonderful story..thank you so much for sharing.
Thank God I found ur vid! I am sooooo tired of curing my eczema eternally!!!! i am trying this!
Thx a lot for your testimony, i'll show this to my wife. We're searching for the potential causes to get rid of her eczema. : )
Your story makes me really emotional, I’m currently going through the same thing with eczema, idk what to do
Try water fasting.
You have to go through topical steroid withdrawal
OMG! My eczema got was too when i moved to the US, How are you now?
Babajide Opadeyi well o have moved to Turkey it
Was going good a littler bit before I came here and is much better now! I hope you are doing well too
Hi Christina. Thank you
So happy that your eczema is better!! Ive been doing lots of research with CBD in skincare and studies shows it can also help with eczema!
Thank You!! I will try avoiding dairy, and see if it helps my eczema! :)
Was it help?
I also learned that the key to all good health. It's a good gut system. Balancing out my digestive system is the key.
currently my skin looks exactly like all of your before pics...
But it's really hard to follow such a strict diet.
ggirl471 try gluten. When I stopped eating it my face started to clear up!
hello past me.
She’s so beautiful and her skin 😍
I have eczema on my face. I have been considering eliminating dairy from my diet. After watching this I definitely am. Thank you
thank you very much for sharing! guess I gotta start too and see how my eczema reacts...this year will make 11 years of this battle
Marche Teasley I definitely will!
Marie Christine Thank you :)
Thankyou!! Am also suffering from the same problem since birth... and it is really very helpful😙
I Even take steroid pills and as soon as I'm done with them my whole body gets even worst
this video really helps me a lot..I'm experiencing those too! I'll do my best to cut down dairy on my diet
Feel free to check it out, I talk about some good stuff over there!
you ok now?
I just watched this video and after suffering from eczema for 16 years it’s really inspiring to stop hiding it and start treating it, I am also you’re 8,000 subscriber ♥️
I don't consume diary at all but I'm still an eczema baby. I have had it all my life. My advice is, cut out anything that has yeast. Make smoothies with vegetables that are anti inflammation or drink some turmeric tea first thing in the morning. Believe you me, your skin will thank you later. Ohh don't use soap. Rather bath with oats meal mixed with honey.
Hi thank you sharing this video am also having eczema
It’s actually very common for people with eczema to be highly allergic to dairy
I actually found that out last month when I went to the doctors
Yeah I'm allergic to dairy and eggs...and soy and wheat and corn haha but the dairy and eggs are the ones that really fuck me up
I have never related to something in my life i have/had eczema but ive overcome it!!
Im tired of having eczema on my face, arms, legs, neck. I wanna do ur programme but its expensive nd im only 12
halo halo show your parents this video so they can help you change lifestyle
Yogurt is actually good for eczema and the body in general. Sure it depend if you’re lactose intolerant, fortunately diary free yogurt exists. :)
Thank you for this video xxx
try going to a good GOOD dermatologist (because a bad one is going to make everything worse) and take a test to see your food intolerances!! also, if you get easily stressed try going to a psychologist because stress triggers eczema really bad :(
for me, everytime (since i have eczema) i went to a trip i had really bad breakouts so i went to the conclusion that i can't go on trips 😭😭😭
