Hi Annique, my parents introduced the piano to me when i was 6 and it instantly clicked for me. I started playing through the grades and went to some small conpetitions in China. I am now in Australia and just recently finished my Piano Certificate of Performance. Its not my goal to become a profession pianist, but would love to pursue it for the rest of my life. You are a massive inspiration for me, keep up the good work with your channel : )
Edit would love to becom a professional pianist if my life would rewind. I think its too late for me now to pursue this 'dream' of my.
Bravissimo Annique!😊🛡️🚭😇📽️✨💫🌐🏡🎼🖖🥰:-)
Anniqie inspires me to begin to play piano with joy from zero level at my age of 70 even though I have played some wrong notes. M
I love, love, love this interview and subject matter! I trained classically and had my share of blackouts on stage. The fear of performing finally won and I stopped playing for decades and chose another career. I wish I could have learned from Annique’s wisdom and example. She is brilliant and I love her for her talent and her honesty. She is also fun and well rounded. I would argue that people who never fail on stage are often failing in other areas of their life like not enjoying their families or other interests. Bravo to you and Anniqiue for sharing this message. Today I play for my own joy and allow myself to be human and not perfect. ❤❤❤
This was such an interesting conversation! More of it, please!
Annique has such a nice personality.
This is the No.1 podcast😮
👏👏👏
Bravo 👏🏽, I really love all the interview, was very interesting, please more podcast with more fantastic musicians ✨
Thank you! We are working on it ☺️
Around 21:00, you were talking about the attention timespan of the audience. IMHO, this interview is too long, at least longer than my attention span. Nevertheless, I am a big fan of Annique as a person and as a pianist, and I love her YT channel.
Is that the guy making the 1 min, 10 mins, 1hour challenge for 4 hands? I think it was Beethoven 5th
Annique created the video, but indeed Slava was the other pianist in the video
