Reminds me of a military wall cot. Hammock wedge? Bunk bin? ENC will be suuuuper happy in there. Gonna love watching the evolution! Mr Tom, french seams on those ends would give some extra protection, prevent worm entrapment and look really nice.
You know I actually did give it half a thought to put it inside out for that very reason. Then I thought worms are pretty smart. They'll figure it out. 🪱👍🏼😊
Just let me say most of us are very jealous. But glad u had enough material to really start it. Do u expect any leakage since bottom is made out of fabric.
We will see. I know that when I overload the little Mammoth I do get leakage through that fabric. The feeding that I did today is kind of dry. I will have to make very sure to use dry bedding if I have a wet feeding. 🪱😊👍🏼
Love it. Yes the cover should definitely be called the worm blankie. And for the record when the live sound was off I called out Good Worms at the appropriate place in the video. Regards from Saddleworth in South Australia.
You put a blanket on it and all I could think of was a worm bassinet. Do with that what you may. A worm-i-net, if you will. Adorable. It's a crib for worms. I love it.❤
I love it!! How about Wedgie? Or Big Wedgie? Oh, I just saw someone else thought of that as well😂🤣😂Very cool new worm bin Ann!! I can't wait to see you work your magic with it and see how much castings it gives you!! Great job handling your audio issues!!! Excellent video!!🪱🪱🪱
Congratulations on the new system! Hmm, by my count you now have two large empty worm bins, Ann. Any plans for those? I like the vote for Shamu - rhymes with Blue. Shamu was female, so she will keep Blue on his toes. ~ Sandra
Tom is a wonderful man! Veteran. I started watching him when he was stationed in Italy. My brain is having a brain fart-can’t remember his channel name? He hand sews his vermi bags. He is retired from the Service now.
Yep, she moved back to the States a year or more ago. I think he's in the Pacific Northwest. The link to his channel is in the description of this video. The channel is called vermy bag composting system 🪱👍🏼😃
WOW! that system will really crank out the castings. I wish Tom all the luck, will have to check out his Channel. Why not just name the bin after its inventor, Tom. Stay Well!!!!
It has been my experience that in very high populations the worms stay small. Very rarely do I see a large worm in any of my bins. Even the African nightcrawlers are tiny. We don't judge here as long as they do their job. I don't care what they look like lol👍🏼🪱😂
Is it the same material as the mammoth? will it drain if too wet? i didn't see any drain pans underneath it. maybe it looks more like a wave than a wedge. hang ten.
Yes i believe it is the same material as the mammoth. The mammoth leaks through the material if I really pour water in ( yep I have done it) I have also scrubbed the exterior of the vermi bag with vinegar water to clean the deposits off. This feeding should not give off too much liquid. We'll have to see what happens when I feed it. Something really wet. That reminds me I should put some trays right underneath of it. 🪱👍🏼😃
Big Bertha!
Lots of thumbs on this one 🪱😊👍🏼
Wow! Thats a huge wedge!
😊👍🏼🪱

One of your best videos thank you

Thank you for the help they are such good worms😊👍🏼🪱
"The Worm Hammock"
Oh I like this one😃🪱👍🏼
Very Impressive ! The Bag, Frame and start up fill are Great. 🙂
It was in the works for many months. 😃🪱👍🏼

A worm-i-net, if you will.
Adorable. It's a crib for worms.
I love it.❤
OMG yes it does look like a bassinet.👍🏼🪱😂
I'd call it The Big Wedgie. :-)
I'm liking this one lots of good puns 👍🏼🪱😃
Call it Grey ? I love the VermiBas . Tom does an amazing job.
I'm going to have to collect all the ideas and make a post to vote on it.🪱👍🏼😃
Another awesome video. Thanks!
Thank you! 👍🏼🪱😁
That is one impressive system! ❤
It is awesome 🪱😃👍🏼
It looks great Ann. Thanks for the update.
I'm excited to get going with it! 👍🏼🪱😊
I love that. It looks great. I’m really looking forward to following you with this.
It should be fun to contrast it with blue 💙😃👍🏼🪱

Many great puns could happen if we called it the wedgie 😃🪱👍🏼
That thing is so cool. You look like you have plenty of room. I do miss blue. It will be interesting to see how the new wedge system works.
Blue is right next door. You can see him next week in sunday's video. 😁🪱👍🏼

@NanasWorms you are right about the empty systems. The area will likely be used for seed starting this year. 👍🏼😃🪱
Loved the high-tech food processor you used on those pumpkins 👍🏻 🔨 The bag looks awesome - congrats on the new system!
I couldn't reach my knife and the hammer was hanging over my head. Budda provides or something 😂🪱👍🏼
That looks awesome!
Thank you 👍🏼😊🪱
Fantastic!
🪱👍🏼😊
In honor of Christmas and the awesome little Debbie cakes, how about Big Deborah.
👍🏼😃🪱

Hum.. I wonder 🤔🪱😃👍🏼
Wow!!
👍🏼🪱😃
Cool
👍🏼🪱😃
Do you think that the small worms will grow to become full size in the new set up?

I love your videos and frequently listen to them as I fall asleep, however, that music will prevent that.
Very few of my videos have music. I imagine the 55 gallon playlist doesn't have any in about a year.😃🪱👍🏼
I asked AI how we should call your bin, and it answered The Worm Whisperer 100 kind of dig this.
Almost a Harry Potter theme. 👍🏼🪱😃🧹
@@ModernKnight-l1l good one!

Mother Earth : )
That is a good one. I'm going to need to take a poll. 👍🏼🪱😃
you should name the bin Grigio! “Grey” in Italian, one of the most used EUROPEAN languages 😊
Plus “Grigio” sounds like Blue’s cooler brother 😎 😂😂
Maybe his cool European cousin? 👍🏼😃🪱
Grey? 😁 🤍
This is a popular one 😃🪱👍🏼
Large Marge
Love it. 😃👍🏼🪱
The Blue and the Grey?
Nice. 👍🏼😊🪱
Call it the big deep
I can't wait to get everyone's great ideas on a list to vote for. 🪱👍🏼😃
Waiting to see if it's worth the money... 2 "blues" would only be $30...
I imagine it will take a while to sort that out 👍🏼🪱😃
Great looking new wormy bag weg 🇳🇿🪱
I hope they are happy in their new home! 👍🏼😊🪱
This could be a whale of a time 😅😂🤣
Yes 👍🏼🪱😃
Looks like a whale. I'd name it Shamoo
This is a real contender 👍🏼🪱😁
I like Shamoo too!
