I can't do large systems indoors. I got a couple VermiBag Totes a couple years ago. I guess you don't do those anymore. That's unfortunate for me. I'd like to have a couple more.
I got some bags from you a long time ago maybe around the time you started I wore some out and I still have a couple it was you and another worm company making worm bags I can't remember the name of the other one
@connecticutwormsgardens that's what it was I had one of those Urban warm bags but I bought several bags from Tom tiny one to the biggest one he makes I don't know it's been five six years ago
I like this design since it seems there is way less compaction, but I think most people need a closed system. I occasionally get flies and maggots and wouldn't want those flying or crawling out over the top whenever they want.
Unfortunately to put a lid on this would be way more complicated and increase the cost quite a bit…it wouldn’t take too much to figure out a hard lid that would be pretty secure and keep most critters out
I don’t know when I’m going to have time to start making them again, but I do have several slightly used 14 gallon totes that I would give you at a good price. Nothing wrong with them other than a little dirt on them. If you’re interested send me an email. Vermibag@gmail.com
It is exciting to see you can keep the blues happy with a heating pad. My build and fill video will be out in 2 weeks. I got the big 5' casters. Im not sure if it would be worth it for you to make cordura pillow cases. I would be interested. I know i would like to get away from plastic sheets on my wedges.🪱😃👍🏼
I look forward to your build. Make sure you brace the ends as well as the sides…once the system starts getting fuller….it really gets heavy and that additional lateral bracing is needed to keep it nice and steady.
Systems look great. Nice collections of castings. Thanks for the updates!
Easiest casting harvesting I’ve ever done😊
Tom: the system is producing amazing results! Beautiful healthy castings and the worms are obviously very happy. Your products continue to impress me
@@connecticutwormsgardens I'm so glad to see you comment. I know it is weird but I was concerned for you. I hope you are well.aka. Ann

The wedge system looks like a worm 'bunny hill'! Complete with 'warming house' at the bottom! haha, Good to C your video!
Muito bom a técnica e melhor ainda o vídeo está traduzido para o português,

You might have had some bags from the Urban worm Company. I had those until switching to Tom's product

@connecticutwormsgardens I would say 7 bags I got from him

How many worms do you have in each bin? My guess is 3 to 5 lbs
@@snsquotes probably around 8 lbs
