nice seeing a European RC channel with some quality content :) a couple of questions: 1) since "trailing" will involve quite a bit of running at 100% speed on relatively flat terrain, won't overdrive just overload the motor? 2) since we're talking about trailing, not crawling, the stock motor and gearing max speed is about equal to walking speed of a 1-2 year old [though the speed on a trail of a 2 year old might be lower... haven't tested mine yet in such an environment, as she's unstable enough on flat ground, lol] :) if my truck is trailing, but i am crawling so it can keep up with me, that's not much fun :P 3) why is everyone making such a big deal about front weight bias etc? does nobody ever descend, only climb? :) or is the improvement in climbing so massive to offset the decline in performance while descending?
Hi :) thanks for the feedback :) Trailing: what i mean by it, is not walking on a flat surface and flooring the little car. When we trail, we do it scale, we go to a rocky hill, which has an amazing top surface for trail/crawl, and we go alo with these on the flatish top surface, crawling some rocks in the way, but we mostly stay away from the flat path. We drive like 3 hours to the destination and back, with some stops on the best spots to crawl a bit. 14T is small overdrive that helps a lot. If i were to use.this car on hard floor and just walk it i wouldn't put.it in but we trail scale. Front weight bias: General rule.is to have 60/40. For crawler even more. You can save a downhill with some extra throttle but cannot do. The opposite on an uphill. When you are out you most likely climb up on something more then the amount you go down crazy angles. Thats my opinion and experience :) we do these trails wit my 3y old boy too.
Very nice.I like the idea of doing budget builds. Its a bit overwhelmed with the amount of parts avaliable now for the scx24 and its a great idea to show what you can expect for your budget.I look forward to your next vid!

Good tips, will definitely try adding overdrive to mine 💪🏻
Thank you. I am glad if it helped :) keep me updated how you like it.
Excellent work 😉👍 very nice 😎👍
Thank you :)
