I picked up an SCX24 while recovering from an injury...great fun in the backyard, upgrades are cheap and plenty of options on the market. Two thumbs up...!!!
Great! Indeed upgrading this little rigs and watch the improvements pay off in the trails is addictive! In my case, going with a hard body I would have gone with a brushed 050 motor, or if needed a brushless fit a Micro Komodo to help with the top heavy big Komodo motor (I have one, had the same issue, lots of weight up high, rolling sideways all the time).
Your truck really performed very well. You did an excellent job. It gave mr some ideas, thanks. Keep up the good work. Happy holidays and happy new year to you and your family. I hope everyone stays well.
If you cut the door windows out and do it right the windshield and rear windows will go back in along with the roof rack it will cut 21gs outta the cab. Take the springs out of shocks. I been playing around with long travel and I keep going back to mine that are just like yours. With proper wheel weight it will set itself going over things.
I have the Bronco along with the Gladiator, and I personally think Axial should make the center of gravity on the Bronco lower. I ended up switching suspension from my gladiator to bronco and vice versa.
Those wheels look nice. Probably not going to get to it, but I wouldn't mind having another body for mine and getting it painted ?forest green - been seeing one that color at a dealership and looks nice, hoping it will look good scaled down.
After all the upgrades, you'll have enough stock parts that you removed to build another rig. Thats what happened to me, I upgraded so much that i built another rig out all my stock parts.
damn 170$ CAD for the motor trans and esc! That's ridiculous, I could understand if it was for a 10th scale but a 24th scale that just a rip off! There's definitely many cheaper options that i'll be looking into to
They all need shock at 1st, the rest you really don't need ,plus upgrades parts don't always work 😂skid plate and drive shaft by injora isn't that good 🤔 I had machining was not done right, but there shocks are great

I love my SCX24's. I haev 3 of them now. The best upgrade I've done is the weighted wheels and better tires. I am envious of your rock wall. :)
Really clean install of all your electronics/wiring.
These little trucks are awesome for using at home, love the way you fitted all the electronics in that build, so neat
Weighted wheels, and comp pin tires really did the trick for my scx24 Deadnolt.
great walkthrough. I have done a few mods now and videos like these give me some insight for fun future upgrades. thanks
Love these type of videos! Just gave me the inspiration to finish up my SCX24 Bronco project!

I loved that you didn’t use all Treal and mixed the parts up, also cool to support Tony’s stuff!
I got back into the Scx24 bought a bronco so this is a helpful video. I be buying most of my parts from Amazon.
That's a good looking Bronco!!

Great video. Now I have to hope Santa gets my new wishlist just in time this year😁.
Merry Christmas🎄🎅☃️

Great little rig now to work on mine . Merry Christmas to you and yours

A man who knows what he’s talking about. Appreciate the input. Just bought a 3d printed Toyota hills body. Got a lot of sanding to do.
Great little truck.

The grasshopper 2 was a fun build
Great upgrades, good looking rig.
Great truck.I have one too time to upgrade..thanks information 😀
This looks great. Can it go walking speed?
Very nice build!

Will those wheels and tires fit on the TRX4M? I want those wheels!!
Thanks helps a lot I love rc trucks so awesome
I've done so much to my SCX24 to the point where I don't even know if I can do anymore to it!
I hear ya. After next round of mods on this rig I’ll just put my stock SCX24 Bronco back together with everything in the spare parts bin LOL
Nice video!! Which do you prefer, Axial SCX24 or the Traxxas TRX4M?
What’s the name of the power hobby wheels? I can’t find them.
Retractable lanyard/ lighter leash mounted to act as a winch.
What kind of screw did you use to get the aluminum servo horn to connect to the steering link?
Does all this work with the stock receiver and transmitter
Does anyone know where to buy replacement/different shells for the scx24’s?
Do these fit the fcx24 as well?
cool upgrade ideas
I do have a bronco build on my channel. It’s Venom theamed.

I hate that I probably have close to the same money in my car

scale ?
Trx4m is the only upgrade needed. 😆 sorry I'm a traxxas "fanboy"
Same😂😂😂😂 I have some other brands like arrma and tamiya but traxxas is my favourite I’m very tempted to get a trx4m
@@chargelead9429 get 1 they are awesome and getting better every day
If you haven't, check out Mofo Rc. All kinds of parts and upgrades for your scx24's

Wt micro body
Not for nothing and to each their own but I'm pretty sure Axial wouldn't have engineered it the way they did if it couldn't be enjoyed as is.
Just received my 1st RC from a friend, its the B-17 Betty. I don't want to modify this rig. What should I purchase to modify???
