There are a few songs in Mario Sunshine that are played in-universe. The ukulele player with the doot doot sisters, the merry-go-round in Pinna Park, and the band playing in the Fluff Festival in Pianta Village
This channel got questions I never ask or came in my mind and I never knew how much I wanted the answer for it! Amazing video again, Keep up the good work! You're amazing and a power star nonetheless!
Hi Thomas! I've been following you for almost three years and have watched all of your videos! I remember a video where you talked about how Taro Bando (I think it was him) got the sounds for the original Animal Crossing game by traveling into a forest and recording bugs and other nature sounds. I'm curious, what happened to that video?
8:30 - I have roughly 150 hours in ring fit adventure from what I can remember, played through all 69 worlds across the 3 playthroughs , yes it has 69 worlds haha. I always assumed the voices after the 4 muscle groups said something like, “I’m still alive, I am feeling fine~” or similar, which was very fitting when you’re on your 50th squat of the session.
13:24 I found that grunting sound while digging through the audio files of sm64ds and until today I never knew what it was and what it was for glad to have that mystery solved :)
Regarding the Splatoon 3 song."What's Your Style?," the song is likely performed by the band Backwash. Listen to their song Sinkopated and compare. The instruments and sounds used are the same, and it's a very similar style of playing them, too.
My personal favourite diegetic song by a fictional in-game band is "Jasmine" by The Hairy Lobsters (actually by Miles Gilderdale) in Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse. LOL I love that "favourite food" bonus track on the Yoshi's Story soundtrack CD! Hajime Wakai is another one of the great Nintendo composers (and I agree, curry is where it's at). 🍛
It's crazy how Charles Martinet is basically every important character in Mario 64 ^^' Well except Peach.
14:04 - We still need the “Why doesn’t Wario sound like he used to?” video.!.!
I'm working on it, don't worry!!
@@ThomasGameDocs - Ooh…? 👀
@@PeepimusWhy do you start comments with “-“? Atleast it’s not being ended with “-“.
As a kid playing Super Mario 64, I called thwomps "err blocks" because they are blocks that say "err" (real creative, I know).
That's real cute. :D
To be honest I literally spent 2 years playing pokemon silver and crystal as a child and every time I'd use the move strength I'd go "ffftt-anya"
The "thowmp" is crazy
Charles Martinet really is Mel Blanc for Nintendo. Also it’s such a shame that those Mario Galaxy tracks were cut from the final releases.
Thwomp’s always sound so fed up with life
Who’s here when the title still said “Thowmp?”
Present
Here!
Fixed!!
Me
instead of "thowmp's"?

Thwomp voice lines. She must like making Nintendo voice line videos.
Am happy to report that the Thwomp does have his grunt again. It’s used as his voice grunt in the TTYD remake
This channel is such a comfort blanket for me. Your voice is so kind and expressive. And the content is actually always interesting.
thomas graces us with yet another Nintendo music secrets video
It’s a shame that some of the music went unused because they sound beautiful
Yeaa, I was waiting for a Thwomp episode
12:04 so cute 😭
your content is honestly so comforting...
9:16 now at first I thought hearing these four voices would mean 1234 in gibberish, but no, it’s part of your body
4:25 This music even has drums that play when you ride Yoshi.
lotsa awesome info on some of my favourite video game tracks that i never knew, great vid!
1:31 This reminds me of the OoT Water Temple theme. It's super peaceful!
Oh boy, some of those unused Galaxy tracks are amazing ❤
Real ones already know Thwomp’s voice comes from a low-pitched Charles Martinet grunting voice clip.
I just love how u say the name of patreon hi there n bye, the cherry on top
Next should be Goombas or Koopa Troopas voice

Hey @ThomasGameDocs, I hope you can upload more Nintendo music secrets and more videos. I am counting on you. 🙏😊❤

In Super Mario 64 King Bob-omb and the Whomp King also utter a deep Thwomp grunt upon defeat.

Thwomps have an iconic voice, do we finally get to know where it came from?
Oh wow, I really want that Japanese YOSHI'S STORY CD soundtrack now
Kirkhope also used a similar jingle to the Donkey Kong intro for when you step on a skull square during Banjo Kazooie's Furnace Fun.
New Thomas Video :D
These always make my day.
I’m greatly amused by the thwomp comments with the option to translate into English. The result? “Thwomp.”
Good job, Google Translate. 😂 Thanks.
the amount of work Charles did for Nintendo is insane, I don't know if 10M is his actual net worth but he should be worth more
13:24 I found that grunting sound while digging through the audio files of sm64ds and until today I never knew what it was and what it was for
glad to have that mystery solved :)

i always thought that the thwomps said "bummer"

TLDR: Charles Martinet
Didnt know it was used for 10 years💀
I’ve been a fan since I saw my uncle play back in 2013
(I was 2 during that time) and now that I’m older I’m curious
Imagine being 13(ish).

nice video, ThwompasGameDocs
Awesome video!
3:55 This melody is very similar to the credits music from Yoshi's Island.
I bet that What’s Your Style? song must be Splatoon’s equivalent to our Blind the Wind most mysterious song.
i was waiting that video for 3 mouths!
edit : 3 months
Hi Thomas game docs! I came as soon as I saw you posted
Am I experiencing the mandela effect or was there one that went EEEE-URRRR
I’d say that sounds like one from SM64.
That’s the Whomp sound effect!

Whats The Music You Used In The Intro Called?
It's Joey Kuras!
Can you make a Video about how Warios Voice has changed?
