I bought this with the string trimmer and edger attachments on y’all’s advice and love it. Looking forward to getting some other attachments for it. Nice review!
Great review. This is one that I was most interested in seeing. I requested it a couple of months ago and BOOM 💥. Nice work. I'm keen to pick up the edger to help make my neighborhood beautiful!

My ego mower sucked. lacked power to even fill it's own grass bag more than 1/3 of the way. But my blower, string trimmer and hedge trimmer have been impressive so far.
Been using mine commercially here in the UK for 1yr now. Great bit of kit. I mainly use the hedge trimmer attachments and pole saw but I do use the trimmer attachment for some light edging even though it does have a ton of power. Looking forward to the new tools coming here early 2023... I believe there's a new multi-tool power head on the way along with loads of other stuff. We seem to get a lot of stuff later than you guys do over there in the States and some thing's we have that you don't and vice versa...
Don’t know if it applies to this tool but I would bet it does! On larger cultivators you can pull the pin and change the direction of the “blades” and it basically determines how much of a bite your tool takes. I rented a gas one a year or two ago and it would only dig like an inch or two deep. Checked the manual online and it said to flip the blade alignment for deep digging. Did that and I also had to stop it from going a foot into the ground. It was amazing lol. So that might apply here! Just a heads up. Love the video and just subscribed.
I've had the pole saw for 2 or 3 years. I don't remember having any problem prior to use. I, my neighbor, and my friends have all benefited from the pole saw with the pole extender. The hedge trimmer is a bit heavy but it does a great job.
Was the string trimmer good enough with the multi-tool or would you recommend getting their stand alone trimmer with the line IQ features? Like the idea of having the trimmer/edger options but obviously do much more weed eating than actual edging. Curious to hear your thoughts
I like the multi-tool version. It's a great trimmer on its own and has a ton of added benefits. Line IQ seems nice but I've also heard you can blow through line with it.
I have the edger and the pole saw in the multi-tool line. I bought stand alone string trimmer with carbon fiber handle and auto load. The IQ line feed hadn't been made back then. I am really happy with all 3 of those tools. I like having the string trimmer and edger as separate tools.
This too good! Promoted to "monetizing" calls for a congratulatory response! Nice hat!
Thanks, Mark!

Eric - we did it just for you, brother! The edger is sweet - make sure to lower it down all the way to really dig a nice trench.

Thanks, Forest! That's a great tip. I don't use the cultivator that much but this has also blown my mind...
Great tool system. It’s on my Christmas list to Santa.
Hope you make the nice list!

Agreed! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
Wow might need to buy this one
You can replace all your lawn tools with it practically.
How much you got all thinks

@thelawnreview you should donate the snow blower to me. I'm in MN and get lots of snow haha
hahaha you may need more than this snow sweeper
Will other brand attachments work on the ego powerhead?
No sadly
I want that tool!
Anything you want.
Is it worth getting the 1420? I’m thinking about buying an open box 1400 for $50 while the 1420 is new for $170
Do the open box one
@@TheLawnReview thanks for the reply I appreciate it. Just took a closer look and it’s missing the handle. But I guess I could buy a handle for $25
Wow that thing is sick.
It is unreal.
