    I miss my TTR-230. I replaced it with a 300 XCW and I still miss it. Best bike ever for leading kids down single track. It’s engine and transmission are its best attribute.

    I have spent countless hours jacking with bark busters over the years. Part of that was on me for cutting down my bars to get through tight trees better.

    Pipe threads seal exactly how they are supposed to with the correct sealant.

    YZ 2 strokes need the air box area sealed off with weather stripping, ductape, whatever, from the rear wheel fender area in order to prevent excess ingestion of dust which overwhelms the air filter in dusty conditions...
    I also drill a few holes in the side covers each side to allow more airflow and less vacuum pressure trying to draw dust from the rear wheel fender area...

    The shock must have been quite long without service. But of course you are right, the gas passes an o-ring for the same reason as in a bladder. Because its made out of rubber. It usually just takes a lot more time, as the bladder offers so much more surface to the gas to do diffusion. Diffusion heavily depends on bladder quality. Make sure you get proven stuff like OEM.

    My experience and my dealer told me once when a 300 sits a while, tip it like you did and a charge of fuel will help it fire up easily.

    Risk racing cans suck. Mine is leaking at the seam on the bottom. Emailed risk racing, no response ….
    Lost about 2 gallons of T4.

    Snap on definitely the most expensive but it is the best imo or that's what I tell myself at least to justify the tens of thousands of dollars I spent on then 😂

    $5 blanket for $350 in tools. What a bargain!

  • @NorthWestMotos
    @NorthWestMotos ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Ex mechanic. Typical snap on dealer! Here's a free $350 blanket! Can confirm I was broke because I spent way too much on snap on tools but he was right, they're the best. But only worth it if you use them professionally.
