Man....there were like 5 really good "Well, anyway's" in this epidode. It did not disappoint! hahahahaha Love those old school little bikes! Brings back so many memories.
I used to have a DR350 back in the day and was the manual that I had for it was actually from a Beta that ran that motor. Super cool. That thing was a tank for sure! Many miles and smiles on that bike.
@@highlandcycles Morgan I still need to make an appointment with you to get the forks and shock done on my 05 CRF450R just been super busy with side work and normal work it's looking like it might be the beginning of June I can get out there
The bar ends look super cool. Is there a reason you choose not to run the full bark buster style hand guards? Plus the parts you list can you give refrence in the future where you picked them up and a ball park price. Thanks for the great videos. My favorite channel on you tube so far. Love the fix it videos.
Great stuff, Morgan! Is there any valving that can be done to the XR400R forks? I'll be replacing springs and changing oil weight first. Just planning ahead. Thanks again.
I wish rekluse would go back to the zstart pro design. Normal friction plates that you just replace regularly for very little. The rekluse disc often lose their pads and it costs a heap to rebuild them on top of the custom plates. It's all too expensive and complicated and you can see why hardly anyone buys them anymore.
Do you know if the U.S.A.'s fuel, gasoline is going to all must contain ethanol? In Canada there now is a Clean Fuel Regulation that all gasolines must contain 10 ethanol with increasing amounts over the following years. In the province of Ontario (like a state) it is now E10. To become E11 in 2025, E13 in 2028, E15 on 2030,.... My 2022 KTM 300 XC specifies E10 max of premium fuel. So what does a rider do once all that is for sale is over E10? Are the manufacturers planning anything? I do not want to go electric biking. And how & to whom would I sell my KTM?
@@highlandcycles That is nice but you are about 2,800 miles south west of me. 🤣 😭 I am on the north side of Lake Ontario. 2 or 3 hours N.E. of Buffalo, New York.
@@matthewmcallister8845 I do not see the eastern provinces on the list but it does say, "Examples of other clean fuel standards Here are examples of countries and jurisdictions that have low carbon fuel policies, such as renewable fuel mandate or a clean fuel standard:"

6:03 that lift is amazing.

You know your still 8 years old when you see a CR80 and go WOO HOO HOT ROD !
Man is awesome to see such old relics like that, that little CR is sweet worth a little bit money if it's fixed up and taking care of 🤘
So cool

I just like how clean the cockpit is with the flag guards and they are a little lighter.
Another great video, Morgan!
Thanks

Yeah. But I’m not sure it’s worth it. Let’s talk.
Great shlog! Thanks man!
Thank you

How long did it take you to become confident with all the parts in shocks. Very overwhelming for me. 😅
A while. Lots of repetition
Slave cylinder guard?
Fork uppers wrap guards?
Nice stuff keep it up!
Nah on slave guard. I’ve never got one. Thinking about the upper wraps.
👍👍
👍🏻👍🏻
Let's see how that beta 125 runs...shucks.. thought they were 2 strokes..
Hahaha. I know. So sad
They do make a 125 two stroke and it is rad! 125 rr race edition.
How come you don't have a pipe guard?
I don’t like them. They are great for little hits but I’ve e seen lots more damage from having one with big hits b

In NB Supreme is still ethanol free the last I checked.
It’s easy for us to get ethanol free here.

Sorry about that. I am working on it.
