    Hello
If possible an example application about CFD model of 3D stracture lattice

I do not actually do CFD modelling but this is a good suggestion.

    Thank for this informative video.
Could you please make a video on restart analysis where step-1 as a general static step and step-2 as a linear perturbation step which follows the step-1 results?

I have noted your query and will see if I can make such a video.

Very nice and informative presentation Michael, I think one additional ugly point is the full setup of the software (Mvs+Fortran+Abaqus)

Very correct @Malek Adouni, certainly sorting out correct setup of Fortran and ABAQUS can be a pain indeed. Thanks.

Which FEM software is worth learning? I want to learn a software which knowledge I can use in next 20 years.

Hello @Sajid, ABAQUS and ANSYS are very good FEA software that continues to be relevant for many years, so I will suggest those. COMSOL is doing quite well especially for multiphysics studies but might not have the market penetration of ANSYS and ABAQUS. It depends on what you are looing to do, but ANSYS and ABAQUS are both fantastic software worth learning.

Unfortunately @Sajid, I do not share my number here. There is a contact email on the About Page of this TH-cam channel where you can reach out to me. Try that option and take care.

@@MichaelOkereke What ever knowledge I learn by using abaqus, since I want to concentrate all my knowledge to Abaqus Simulia only, will it be transferable to other FEM software 20-30years later? Thank you.

I am not able to say what happens in 20-30 years. I think the choice is yours but what I am saying is ABAQUS and ANSYS are pretty popular and a lot of users have not regretted learning how to use it, me especially for ABAQUS.

I am not sure if I put CAE in good. Its ok for small models but as soon as you go into assemblies and decent size model, it does not offer good features. Most of the commercial users use external software such as Ansa or simlab to setup the input file and then use the solver. This really make issues when you try to perform parametric analysis. The link is broken with CAD and thus a lot of manual effort goes into resetup which also results in human error.

Hello @ashutosh, thanks for the comment. I agree with you that CAE can become unstable when the model becomes really large. ANSA is a fantastic software to create good meshes and input files with ABAQUS. There is a CAD interface though which means you can still keep the geometry in CAD environment and then connect it with ABAQUS so you get the benefit of both tools. I agree with your thoughts but there can be a work around but it lends itself to errors as you suggested.
