Nice job. Dealer wanted a small grip to replace the filter. Fortunately, they didn’t have one in stock and I bought a K & N filter and took to TH-cam. Great a-Z explanation.
Thanks a million for this easy breakdown. About to drop in an Attack Blue Filter, and after watching this video I'm 100% sure I can do it without paying for an install.
I watched your video several times. I finally had the courage to change out the filter. Thanks for including the details and exactly the tools needed. It was an easy job.
Thx. I cant believe how much work it will take my to change my 2019 air filter. Back in the old days. 1) Turn wing nut counter clockwise 8 times. 2) remove airfilter cover 3) drop in new round filter 4) replace cover 5) turn wing clockwise 8 times. LOL Thx again
@jimkomosinski805 get this Jim. My wife's Cadi CTS headlight burnt out. Took it to my buddies body shop. He showed me how to do it. 1) lift car on hoist 3'. 2) Take driver's side tire off. 3) take inner plastic wheel well out. 4) loosen front plastic bumper screws. 5) pull back bumper and contort wrist to headlight assembly. 6) Well, you get thepicturee. I honestly couldn't believe it. I'll bet it's $400. at the dealer. God! I miss the 60's
@@168charger LOL! That's crazy! I worked for GM for over 40 years and while I was just an assembler for most of my time, there were many times that I would have loved to see an engineer actually work on the line to see them assemble the part(s) that they designed, let alone try to disassemble or replace or repair the vehicles. I plan to check and replace the air filter on my 2015 Corvette but will wait until it is put away for the winter so that I will have plenty of time to do it.
thanks. I just smh at the guys who design these things. Like a firearm which is difficult to break down --- it doesn't get cleaned. this isn't the worst setup I've seen, but it's hardly the best (2011 F350 turbo diesel ... EASY to change). Nice vid. Pictures ARE worth a thousand words. Appreciate good nomenclature, though. :)

At age 81, I did this in less than 45 minutes. My 2016 Z51 filter was dirty after only 14000 miles. Great explanation. Thumbs Up!

This was great! The walk through was perfect. Husband rounded up all the tools, and I did the work on my 2014 baby.

Lol i know right! At least it keeps the air cool and breathing outside the engine bay.
You took the words right out of my mouth 😂. I can only imagine what the dealer would charge for this😮?
