Great video! I’ve been wondering for years how to use these and finally slow down to research and your video popped up first. Thank you so much! I had no idea it would be so easy.
I meant to order jump rings and I ordered split rings by accident. Luckily I have been interchanging my own keychains for years, (wish I had one of those tools though!!) so when you started showing how to use them I was like "oh of course that makes sense!"
Thank you! Sometimes I have put double jump rings on to hold charms but this looks a lot better and is more secure! You explained it very well and I appreciate it❤
I love your videos. You always explain things so well and take us step by step to make it easier to understand how to use certain tools and create designs.
Another fantastic use for them is with magnetic clasps because if the magnetic clasps K hot, it's no longer magnetic. Yup, I learned that the hard way. Lol...Thanks for sharing your! New sub....
Does anyone know if Kat still makes videos or does she have a new channel, and does she respond to comments? I am searching for a video that featured her using a tool, I think it might be called a third hand or helping hand. I have searched and searched and can't find it. If anyone has the link, can you PLEASE share it. Thanks.
Thank you! I have started to use split rings. They’re easier to attach than I expected. Much more secure. 😃

Thanks for your, easy to understand, use of split rings. This is a very informative tutorial and I learned many helpful tips.
I was wondering if to use split rings on my bracelets and after seeing this I'm going to , thank you
Thank you! I thought I was the only one that thought using split rings was much better and more secure than using jump rings.
I love your start to finish beading and how simple you make it 🌺
THANK YOU - you just helped me improve my craft project 1000%

Glad I decided to watch as I learned about the split ring tool
Using split rings has been a game charger for my business

That was a great video for me who is just starting, my first one im trying to make. I hope I don't lose this so I can get back to it! thanks.
That video was very helpful. Thanks
I use split rings mostly. I feel they're more secure. Love wire protectors too.

Hi Kat where did you source your saguaro cactus pendant? Look cool!
Great suggestion
I love that idea. It always concerned me when I first started making jewelry that someone's bracelet or necklace would fall apart from the jump rings.
Jump rings are a common breaking point. Split rings can work wonders to help with security. Have your tried using them yet?
@@katsilviadesigns no but I will sometime
I use split rings because jump rings always caused clasps to fall off
Thanks for sharing! 😃 i love splitrings
No problem 😊 Here to help!
TFS!
Just ordered split rings
I also think split rings are safer to use. I would like a Saguaro catus scene like your charm
Hi! What to do if split rings will not close?

On my… very good to know!
They are surprisingly useful, don't you think?
@@katsilviadesigns will definitely try some… I have some! Just put the tool on a wish list.
@@danielletrevino615 As someone speaking from personal experience of ruined nails, it's definitely worth it!
