Thanks for watching! I've always found it handy to make my own jump rings. I hope you find this video helpful!

I have loved cutting wire since doing floral design in college. Something about it is so satisfying! I will have to try making my own rings in the future! I already kindof did the other day, to secure a bead a specific way for a pair of earrings. I didn't have a dowel so i wrapped it around my round nose pliers. I will be getting some wire and a dowel to try this, I think i would enjoy the process of making my own!
That’s awesome! 💜
Thank you ☺️
You’re welcome 😊💜
This was a nice tip for quick jump rings. Really appreciate any tips you can give us!

@@ZurickDesigns Thank you and you as well!
very good video, easy to follow x thanks
Glad you liked it!
Thanks. Not as easy with crappy tools. Ridiculous I could only barely cut one wire at a time. Time for this hobby to get an upgrade--a new set of tools. What brand/set are you using by the way if you don't mind sharing?
Makes a big difference!
I use Swanstrom. Got them fro Rio Grande about 15 years ago and they are great!
Great video but i just tried this for jump rings. (16 gauge) wire is way too flimsy. I attached my charm and the ring immediately lost its shape and overall was just too weak. I will try a different wire. But again, great instructions 🙂🙂
Try using a half hard wire.
Using split rings has become my go-to bc I'm sick of dabbing jewelry glue onto worrisome jump rings. I do have a question & welcome ANYONE'S input! VINTAGE BRONZE is my favorite color of wire but having no choice but to make jump/ split rings has become the bane of my already time-strapped jewelry-making existence as FINDING them in the TRUE reddish hue of VINTAGE BRONZE is impossible for me! Amazon is NOT the answer as I am up to my neck in mislabeled grayish-green ANTbronze rings. So if anyone knows where to find them ld greatly appreciate the info! Blessings from SC😊
I get vintage bronze coated copper from parawire.com and make my own ☺️
Great video, thanks for the tutorial! Can I ask what cutters you used?
I believe they are swanstrom ☺️
@@ZurickDesigns thank you, I will see if I can get them in the Uk.. they look really good 😊
