- I wanted to make this video about RV décor and show what you can do to change your camper without painting or making major renovations. Welcome to our channel. We have full-time jobs but love to travel and go on adventures. Kelley is a Realtor based out of Birmingham Alabama and Bill works for the state of Alabama. I understand people wanting to take out cabinets & rebuild areas, but they do need to think about what is being done that is fad vs usability. Trends are tricky and change. Older people know this because we've seen it happen thru the years.
I agree. I have always loved farmhouse. I did things 16 years ago that being done now. My differences now is I was jeweled tones and now more muted. I’m a realtor and I can go in a house and just from decor if not updated can tell you what year it is haha.
You've done a wonderful job. We have just moved into our RV full time and don't like the heavy wood look. It's a very high end RV and needs brightening up. Thanks for sharing such great tips, and as someone else said, love your positive, enthusiastic way.

Yes, so many people want to change things without major remodeling. I have started doing more and more now that we have had our camper for almost 4 years. I don't feel as bad doing it. haha

The peel and stick wallpaper I’ve had some just roll off the walls. Other has stuck great. There no rime or reason. The peel and stick tile I have had been really great. Thanks so much for watching and congratulations on going full time.

Great ideas! Our son just bought an older RV a few months ago for all of us to use. I cleaned the carpet and upholstery which really did a lot for brightening it up but, the upholstery is outdated and I'm going to recover them. The guys don't want me to paint anything so, I will have to update without doing anything drastic. I love the idea of the shower curtain over the shower door.

Do you have to remove the big rugs when you bring the slides in? We have a reflection 337rls on order and are anxiously awaiting its arrival! Thanks for the great videos!
I actually have a video where I put everything on travel day coming up Friday. Yes, my big rug in the den I just roll it up and it stays between the slides when they go in. The one in the bedroom room I roll up and put in the closet.

I used 5 in the bathroom and 6 in the kitchen. That gave me a few extra if I cut something wrong. I love these tiles are easy to use and both are still staying strong.

We have roller blackout shades. This is what ours came with. I have changed out the curtains 2 times haha. I just put new Turkish towels in. In the bedroom I did take down the blinds and replaced with roller shades.
We just bought this same model of rv. Can you share how you made the curtiains?
I am actually about to change them out but here a video where I talk about these . th-cam.com/video/zIBu3_5kYoM/w-d-xo.html I love them but when I changed out the valances it just doesn't match. I should have a video out in the next month or so where I replace them with Turkish towels.

@@carolkeener9392 I totally understand it was hard for me to start but then I just went with stuff I liked and either it grew on me or it just worked. Just start doing a few things to see if you like it then you can go from there. Don't be afraid you won't like it cause it takes a few trials and errors to get things right. I have changed quite a few things from the beginning.

Yes. I just cut them and sewed a pocket
You keep saying "without messing up anything" yet if you painted it would make it better, not mess it up. It's too dark and dreary. PAINT! It would look one throusand times better! If you paint and don't like it -- PAINT IS NOT MORE PERMANANT THAN ANYTHING ELSE YOU'VE DONE. Your husband obviously has no taste so why are you listening to him?
Just saying this from my experience. I painted the cabinets in my home and after a few years, it started coming off. It is something I really regret doing. It has made it where I have to do maintenance all the time. I agree it does look very nice.
