@@KarlSchoenefeld4 seeing as i knew him before Nirvana blew up, I’d never say that. I just forgot. The post was about ToTD. So i didn’t think to include Cobain. You have to understand, he Never ran in the same circles as the Seattle rock guys. There was no such thing as “grunge” in the NW. nirvana was considered more of a punk band than AiC, MLB or Soundgarden. Those guys were just heavy rock bands, or metal. I lived in Olympia from late 85-93, so i was deep into the scene as a singer myself. Cobain was from Aberdeen, but he lived all over. I met him in West Oly, because my band at the time rehearsed in the same self storage units as Nirvana. He was a cool dude. Weird, but cool.
This video is totally blowing my mind. I have all the music that Soundgarden, Audioslave, and Pearl Jam have made. But there's always been something special about Temple of the Dog to me. It was just Chris, Eddie and a few other guys getting together to make some music because they were mourning Andy Wood, especially Chris. What a album, what great songs, what a great group of musicians, what a awsome video THANK YOU for uploading this video you're the best! ❤
A true and rare treasure. Everyone who got to witness this is truly blessed. God I miss him. Thanks for sharing this. God bless, rest now in peace brother Chris Cornell.
This CD has not left my disc changer since it came out! This is AN ALBUM. You can listen to THE WHOLE THING and not hear a bad song. It’s EPIC in every way.
This is pure gold. As a grunge fan, a guitar player and learning singer , it is amazing to see all these legends together. Chris singing technique (it is not only a great voice) is always an inspiration.
Absolutely unreal. I learned to play guitar to the Temple of the Dog, Ten, and Definitely Maybe records. Changed my life. Thank you, gents, for putting out such beautiful music.
I was there for the concert on day one. It rained like crazy but everyone was mesmerized by the TOTG reunion performance at the end of the night. Cornell and the rest of the guys gelled as if they had been playing together always. To be able to see Chris and Eddie duet on Hunger Strike in person and live was one of the best things I have ever seen in concert in my life. Of the main vocalists from the 90s, I believe Chris had the best voice.
Not only I think Say Hello 2 Heaven along with Slaves was his voice prime but I also think this rendition by Chris is just outstanding and overwhelming
I love this set Couldn't tell you how many times I've watched this It'll Never get Old. And. That smile I'm sure you know what I mean when I say that!? 💘 R I P Chris God, How we miss you! ❤️
Mannn.... One of the best late Chris´ performances. This is magic. And while I can´t watch Soundgarden footage without feel desolation, I can watch this and feel happy about Chris´ soul having expanded to the join the Godhead.
Have seen this video from other angles. This was amazing. First time with Reach Down. Still is and always will be my favorite singer/songwriter. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks sooo much for sharing this. Felt like yesterday since I saw their videos on MTV and went to Sam Goody to get their cd. Loved Chris! And great to see him back joining PJ for their 20th anniversary.
Christopher John Boyle.(chris cornell). Born:20,07.64.Seatle.Whasington.EEUU Iniciador del grunge. Era un monstruo musical, interpretación y composición. Nunca olvidaré su trabajo.Descanse en paz.
Temple of unbelievable perfect sound!. Thinking about a hunger strike my self, on the Capital lawn of Lansing.. Never give in & keep your head up brethren. I'm tired and fimble and see No Other way to get my point across.
Too bad Temple of the Dog never released another album. I heard they had planned to record after Soundgarden's tour but we all know what happened in Detroit. RIP Chris. Magical musician!
Will this happen again? This pairing of souls in sound? Sure it will. In a different way. Coming from some other town. Two kids that love like brothers and shine and die like stars should. Don't cry because our beloved is gone. The music remains. It's All Good.
Rest In Peace, Andy, Layne, and Chris. The world will never be the same
Stop pretending like Kurt didn't matter. I hate when grunge fans act like they're too cool to give him props.

@@allendean9807 EXACTLY! Grunge meant more to people not in the PNW. Portland here.
What i really loves about Chris is that he said thank you after everyone of his songs and meant it! GOD REST YOUR SOUL
In absentia. I lost the challenge. Eddie is gold but Chris is Platinum.
