There were definitely calls that weren’t called especially that face mask. But the unnecessary roughness on Heinicke after he kneeled down was not BS. Graham had enough time to slow down or at least jump over Heinicke so that he doesn’t seem like he was trying to tackle. Heinicke got up because he knew that it was an unnecessary roughness. Yes, he celebrated and the refs didn’t call for taunting but Heinicke wasn’t taunting or getting into any Eagles players faces. Instead, he ran off where no Eagles players and celebrated.

That give-up play by Heinicke was sublime, his timing was perfect, and he knew he had nailed it when the flags came, both defenders look like they were committed to the tackle as Heinicke took the knee, so it was a brilliant percentage play by the Commanders QB.
I actually think it was just awful decision making from the defenders. If you pause it as soon as Heinicke takes the knee, neither of them are anywhere close. One of them even slips and gets back up again to make the tackle, all after the QB has already taken the knee.

Watched at .25x speed. Paused right when he was giving himself up with the knee down. Eagles really thought that mans was Lamar Jackson hitting him with the fake knee or somethin because they weren't that close nor mid launch or initiating a tackle. Just game pressure, and the unexpected, causing a lapse of judgment. Taylor aint out here playing 4D chess, but he's been just enough for the Commanders these last few games.
Great gameplan by the commanders. Shrunk the game, efficient on 3rd down. Forced Turnovers, never flinched. Got points when they could. Really embraced the challenge against a great defensive line. Just a complete game. As a Vikings Fan, I say thank you!

I was expecting a fullback to show up any time during one of those drives. Philly got outplayed and outcoached. Just shows that their is a lot more parity between these teams than the records show.

Just goes to show how good any given pro team can be despite the record. Also crazy how just a couple of years ago the NFC east was mocked. Washington beat the Eagles, damn near beat the Vikings. Last week that defense shut the Vikes down most of the game. If they keep up this type of play they might have a chance to sneak into the wild card round.

That kneel-down that Heinicke took when he was scrambling at the end of the game was a 9000 IQ play. Most players wouldn't even think to do that 3+ yards deep. They'd likely slide or fall forward just trying to make up some lost ground. Very underrated play.

This was the absolute worst performance the eagles could have put on both sides of the ball and the commanders played the best they could have played as well.
