My 18 year old son went to this game and he had a blast, it was his first game and sadly his last as he passed Christmas morning. I’m so grateful the cowboys won this one because he definitely loved his cowboys and Dak. As a Niner fan, this game gave me the absolute chills. Both these teams are beasts.
The eagles certainly looked good. What 4 take ways and only lost by less than a touchdown? Whereas the cowboys produced 4 turnovers and only won by less one touchdown. Granted the cowboys are a really good team but watching this makes me less scared for when they come town and play the niners. I still think dallas can win but I’m more confident in thinking they won’t after watching this.

I really hope Dallas doesn't turn into something like those Marty shottenheimer teams, where they would win 13, sometimes even 14 games, and they'd always be one and done. You never know obviously what could happen, but Dallas has a coach who's won a super bowl, and they have arguably the best qb in the league, of the current qbs.

Our biggest concern right now in my opinion is the 2nd cornerback spot! Ever since Anthony Brown went down we’ve had a very leaky secondary! And I believe the pass rush will step it up and be as good as they’ve been all year but they gotta get home more too

Minshew is a solid backup. He’s 11-18 as a starter. Definitely not a starting qb
The Eagles are stacked. To have the second best pass rush in league, behind only Dallas, and have those weapons on offense, is a nasty combination. Always thought Minshew should have been signed by Dallas as our backup. He had decent numbers in Jax with not a ton of talent around him.
Im happy we won, but there are some major question marks on this Dallas team. Whomever we play is going to attack that number two corner, and the O line isnt moving people around like they were pre Steele injury. I think we need to reshuffle that combination.

I thought the same about Minshew. Barely heard of him before, but he played his ass off! Life-long Boys fan, but it was easy to tell that Minshew could start over about 8 other starting QB's in the league. He doesn't hold the ball long, and he is pretty damn accurate! Hurts is a better "runner", but it looked like Minshew was a better passer. And, that's what QB's are hired for; to pass, not to run. That's what you have RB's for, right? I am aware a scrambling QB is a positive, but, as we know, many times they start relying on their legs, and NOT their arm, more and more. Just look at AZ's QB, now injured. Great runner; so-so passer.

I’m an eagles fan but this is going to go down as one of the best games between these 2. The build up leading up. Minshew playing, 4 TOs, both offense exploding, 3rd and 30(game changer). What a game
It was a terrible game in which the Eagles kept the Cowboys in from their own mistakes. If Hurts played, the Eagles blow them out by 20+. It literally took 4 turnovers, a back-up QB, a miracle on 3rd and 30, and some blown calls for Dallas to squeak by in the final minutes. Also, the game is irrelevant, Eagles will easily get #1 seed and the division title. This was the superbowl for Dallas.
With Cowboys losing tothw Jags it kind of made the game meaningful. Tbh

If you remember last playoff game, we had a very slow start, with many undisciplined penalties that completely threw off any chance of us winning. But if we start well, keep the defense on their toes, it’s not impossible to win. And even after all those penalties, we still had a chance that got called down sadly.

WOW! What a game this was! Both teams went out and had a battle all 4 quarters of the game and it came down to the absolute wire! Imagine a round 3 in the Divisional between these guys. Watching this a week later I realized something about Dallas’s Defense. Dallas knows Philly’s gameplan, Nick Sirianis comment to McCarthy on the field after the game kind of proves this, Siriani was stumped. Despite Philly’s offense playing well, the unknown on Minshew helped Philly stay in the game, but Dallas was jumping routes like right in time because they knew what was coming. They wont admit this, but if I was Philly id be worried about this. The INT’s from Minshew were perfectly placed balls, they weren’t errant throws. Dallas’s D knew the plays and jumped the routes and took the ball away they weren’t “gifted” despite what the critics want to say, the game tape proves this. If they play again in the Playoffs if Philly comes with the same gameplan with Hurts theyre gonna be in trouble because Dallas knows their offense and Defense.

As an Eagles fan, heck of a game Cowboys. This was definitely a great Christmas Eve matchup. Not even mad we lost. Y’all got even with us this season. Cowboys had their backup in the first game, Eagles had theirs in this one. It’s 1-1 in the series. Let’s see if they play y’all in the playoffs! Gg Cowboys! Now for the Birds to clinch the #1 seed and division next week. 🦅

That’s a beautiful take and much appreciated from a cowboys fan it’s hard hearing the delusions from fans that put there team to a pedigree which they are not at but because they play us they get a win and start to expect there team to be greater then most but the truth is most teams play the cowboys with every ounce of there being in beating this team because it’s always prime time no matter the time and they know there team is gonna be put on a spot light after. We are americas team and the eagles are the little brother that tried so hard to be better but it will take 4 more super bowls before they announce themselves close so again thank you for the wonderful sentiment and you are appreciated

How close this game was is truly incredible. We turned the ball over way too much and gave up way too many points. Yet we still had a chance at the end to win with a TD and extra point and with a backup QB. The Eagles need to be more disciplined come playoff time and get the job done because Dallas is no joke. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the playoffs.

As a cowboys fan it scares me to see how good of a team the eagles are on all sides of the ball. The fact that every player stepped up from the eagles without having hurts shows y’all’s determination. It would be scary to see them in the playoffs. GGs

To not be a Joke, a team has to win in the playoffs and the ultimate goal is to win the last game. Cowboys have nor been anywhere near that in a long long time. On any given Sunday the under dog will win. One game eliminations in the NFL playoffs. Gotta be ready.
To be fair, the first time they beat Dallas Dak was injured and Cooper Rush isn’t as good as Minshew.

Colts fan here, wish eagles would’ve got the dub. Gardner Minshew is the backup QB every franchise would love to have. With that being said I’m happy to see my man TY out there doing big things already. He still has a lot of football left in him, there was just no motivation for us to give him his last couple of years.

Round two and the Cowboys came out firing, like damn that was one hell of a game! Glad the Cowboys took a W. This reminds me of the 2018 week 14 game that happened with these two teams, an amazing thriller.

See this is a Superbowl type game, phenomenal offensive and defensive on both teams, isn't punting back and forth, score stays tight, they made this a game worth watching. And no joke of a halftime show 😂

Both Minshew and Prescott balled out, great game from both teams and I’m glad my Cowboys emerged victorious today. A win’s a win.
Minshew was accountable for 3 turnovers and every Eagles drive that didnt end in a touchdown or turnover was because of a bad throw by him. He played like a backup. He's better than some starters, but he def helped the eagles lose this game.
@@billycostigan1247 There’s no denying he made his fair share of mistakes as well, and he definitely was too reckless in important situations. Our defense was terrible most of the game, which was immensely frustrating and has to start improving soon. Can’t continue playing like this down the stretch.

This is my favorite game all season. We had a slow start but we picked up momentum and sealed the win. Great game eagles. Eagles is a great team as a cowboys fan. Both offenses and defenses did a great job this game.
