But you have to be scared about the quality of teams they are beating and how they'll face up to playoff contenders. We saw what happened to the 11-0 Steelers a few years ago. The 7-0 Cardinals last year. Anything could break the back of the Eagles at any moment, we just don't know if this is them being truly good or if their opponents are just mediocre. That said, I do believe the Eagles are a good playoff contending team this year at the least.

I love watching this young brother(Hurts)develop into one of the finer young Q.B.'s in today's NFL. He reminds me a lot of another great young Eagle Q.B. around 30 yrs. ago(Randall Cunningham)who wasn't too bad himself, and led the Eagles to many great seasons back in the late 80's early 90's! Personally I think Hurts will be better because he just has that good work ethic that makes all the good ones great, and I see another Super Bowl in their future no doubt!!!

For the past 2 weeks our opponents only TDs were in garbage time. They embarrassed the Commanders today. Imagine being a Commanders fan and looking up at the scoreboard and seeing the number "2". I still don't understand why the Birds ran that play to a RB who is not built for that situation. Should have just handed it off to Sanders. Anyway, another dominating performance on both sides of the ball. That Defense is a MENACE. The entire team is so deep and talented.
Since they gave him his first start, I kept praying that the PHI coaches and management would give Hurts the chance to grow and develop. I remembered how bad Josh Allen was for Buffalo his first few seasons, yet look at him now. I truly believed that Hurts could grow and learn in a similar trajectory, and look at him now. Great game from him today and a lights out performance by the defensive line. It would've been nice to get a few more points in the 2nd half, but the important thing is we didn't turn the ball over and our defense went to work. I ain't predicting anything, but it's starting to feel like this team is truly something special.
A.J is probably the best receiver Philly had since T.O. my fav player Smith had a great game too and The Eagles are rollin. I was worried this may be a trap game where the Birds would maybe take it easy or be complacent but they still looked Strong !!

His route running, hands, etc. I just give AJ the edge bc he's bigger and has more power after and before the catch to get position on the smaller dbs and his body type is similar to T.O. why the comparison but Smith is very talented and prob has more intangibles than AJ. But physically AJ is just a brute out there. They're a great compliment to one another. Why if not AJ I liked Burk in the draft or London bc they are more physical and bigger wide outs near the goal line and to convert those 3 and 8s when you need a bigger body to box out the smaller db on a curl rout or in the middle of the zone to get those tough yards. Either way Philly has a good deal right now.

People need to understand. Jalen Hurts was the Heisman runner up to Joe Burrows. Any other season and Hurts wins the Heisman with the stats he had at Oklahoma. Hurts should've been a 1st round Top 3 draft pick, but he fell to the 2nd. In the end I'm glad it worked out this way. It put a chip on Hurts' shoulder and he stays in the lab getting better when other QB's might take time to relax.

There literally are no weaknesses on this team. Amazing DB play, a much upgraded LB corps, top 5 D-line AND O-line, a dark horse MVP candidate QB, one of the best looking duos in the league at WR, an extremely talented TE, and two solid dual-threat RBs. Literally insane team.

Devonta Smith and AJ Brown compliment each other PERFECTLY as a WR duo. Both threaten teams downfield with speed, but they also attack defenses in very different ways. Brown overwhelms DBs with his unreal physicality and unreal quickness/explosiveness for his size. Devonta is silky smooth as a route runner, and he makes it incredibly difficult for CBs to get their hands on him and redirect him at the line of scrimmage. He has unreal body control and footwork as well. That’s a SCARY duo for defenses to try and prepare for. Oh, and once defenses feel prepared for Brown/Smith, they remember they have to contend with Goedart who is one of the better overall TEs in the league, AND Philadelphia still has the MASSIVE advantage of Jalen Hurts as a runner (2nd only to Lamar in overall running ability from the QB position). The Eagles look like the NFC’s best team right now. To go with all that explosive offensive talent they have excellent lines on both sides of the ball. THAT’S what sets them apart and makes them one of the true favorites to make the Super Bowl. It’s only been 3 weeks, but I think we’ve seen enough to know they are absolutely for real.

There literally are no weaknesses on this team. Amazing DB play, a much upgraded LB corps, top 5 D-line AND O-line, a dark horse MVP candidate QB, one of the best looking duos in the league at WR, an extremely talented TE, and two solid dual-threat RBs. Literally insane team.

Devonta Smith and AJ Brown compliment each other PERFECTLY as a WR duo. Both threaten teams downfield with speed, but they also attack defenses in very different ways. Brown overwhelms DBs with his unreal physicality and unreal quickness/explosiveness for his size. Devonta is silky smooth as a route runner, and he makes it incredibly difficult for CBs to get their hands on him and redirect him at the line of scrimmage. He has unreal body control and footwork as well. That’s a SCARY duo for defenses to try and prepare for.
Oh, and once defenses feel prepared for Brown/Smith, they remember they have to contend with Goedart who is one of the better overall TEs in the league, AND Philadelphia still has the MASSIVE advantage of Jalen Hurts as a runner (2nd only to Lamar in overall running ability from the QB position).
The Eagles look like the NFC’s best team right now. To go with all that explosive offensive talent they have excellent lines on both sides of the ball. THAT’S what sets them apart and makes them one of the true favorites to make the Super Bowl. It’s only been 3 weeks, but I think we’ve seen enough to know they are absolutely for real.
