I'm from Australia and don't know all that much about American Football, but that play where the kick returner was almost tackled in the corner on one side of the field and then somehow side-stepped and ran to almost score in the other corner diagonally opposite - that was awesome!

I was down for 2 weeks legit. Amazing performance none the less.
The fact that mahomes came back in the second half after being re-injured is awesome competitiveness. The fact that he led that offense to three touchdowns and a field goal on four possessions in the second half while dealing with that injury is why he’s the best in the whole league and already well on his way to all time status. This game was fantastic (I’ll ignore that debacle at the end), it had everything you want in a great Super Bowl. The back and fourth scoring and timely stops for both teams at different points in the game to take control. The surges both teams had and the key scoop and score for the touchdown to keep the chiefs in it. Hurts practically carried the eagles offense and the receivers made some big time plays on deep balls. Best Super Bowl since Tom Brady’s comeback against Atlanta in my opinion and one of the best super bowls over the 25 years I’ve been watching football.
The only person you should be grateful for is the refs and the nfl . Great job with the calls

It was holding, Bradberry pulled him by his jersey and grabbed his shoulder. Bradberry admitted after the game that yes, he was holding, he was just hoping to get away with it. If Bradberry had not grabbed Smith0-Schuster twice, he would have been just as wide open as the Chiefs previous two TD's to Skyy Moore and Kadarius Toney, and in retrospect it would have been better if it had been a TD, then again, Smith-Schuster may well have caught the ball and took a knee at the 1, just like McKinnon did. The Chiefs said they were talking in the huddle about getting the first down and then getting down.

It will rank as one of the best super bowls ever, and to have it in Phoenix, where I live, was great due to the well behaved fans and their contribution to our economy. Both O-Lines were incredible. Only Eagles sack was just cause Hurts ran out of bounds a yard behind the line of scrimmage. Eagles line also continued a 33 streak for successful QB sneaks.

@@halenherndon1218 For Runningbacks these days, the reason for serviceable late draftess is due to their lesser dependency on their o-line or the lack thereof.
Most of the early round backs have NFL-caliber O-linemans blocking in front of them, having already gain 2-3 yards before even getting the handoffs, hence having amazing rushing stats. So Scouts are having a hard time differentiating between rushing due to O-line or simply their own capabilities. An example was Trent Richardson.
Yeah that and the position is just incredibly deep with talented players and they have the highest injury rate on the field. That’s the real reason there are good ones that go late because it’s not that valuable of a position anymore. The RB is just a plow horse these days. Austin ekler, James Robinson, Elijah Mitchell and many more weren’t even drafted. Not taking anything away from Pacheco but finding a “Pacheco” like player is a dime a dozen these days, they’re everywhere. Teams are silly if they take a running back before the 4th round. Kyle shanahan has made a living riding undrafted running backs and other coaches.
You could just tell from the look in Mahomes eye that the Chiefs weren’t going to lose this game what a competitor!

Not going to lie. I was thinking this game might be over when Mahomes apparently reinjured the ankle and the Chiefs were sputtering in the 1st half as they headed the half down by 10. That opening drive to start the 3rd Quarter really set the tone for the Chiefs. Great game overall, and the Eagles played their hearts out too. It's too bad someone had to lose this game.

This game proves why the Chiefs and Eagles are the number 1 seed from their respective conferences. This was an amazing game, especially the offense on both teams.

One of the things I loved the most about this game was the trust in newcomers. Pacheco on the first carry. Toney. Sky Moore with his first (I believe) TD. On the biggest stage they put the ball in the hands of the guys they’ve been cultivating all season. Confidence and trust.

I already knew Mahomes was crazy talented, but I gained a lot of respect for him as a competitor this postseason. He showed his toughness being out there every game, bad leg and all, even running the ball in crunch time. Dude left it all out there on the field, and he absolutely deserves this win.

They started the season with the same team that "won" the Super Bowl, and where did that get them? Worst record of a Super Bowl winning team to start the following season. I'm not trying to "convert" anyone, just stating the facts. It's pretty easy to research the Super Bowl MVPs and Hall of Fame players that have come out and admitted the game is not won on the field. The Eagles were lights out tonight. As someone rooting for the Chiefs, I'm just glad they responded in the 2nd half. But the energy and vibe for both teams was really high tonight and it was a very competitive "coin-flip" kind of game.

Bradberry was badly beaten, grabbed Smith-Schusters jersey and swung him around, then Bradberry grabbed Smith-Schusters shoulder, and gave a tug. Just because they don't show the entire play on these highlights does not mean it didn't happen. Watch other video of the play. If Bradberry doesn't grab Smith-Schuster TWICE, he's wide open, just like Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore were on their TD catches. Though Smith-Schuster probably would have just gotten the first down and took a knee at the 1. Just like McKinnon did on the next play. The Chiefs were talking in the huddle about just getting the first down, then taking a knee short of the goal line.

The Chiefs were already in field goal range before the holding call. If it’s just an incomplete pass they would probably kicked the field goal and made it anyway. Everyone went crazy over the call but it definitely didn’t decide the game.

I can't believe they left out when the KC deliberately didn't score a TD, just so they could run off more time from the clock. That was such special tactic at such a critical point in the match. What I liked most about this game is it really had a old school feel to it with both teams executing very balanced attacks and not just throwing the ball every play. Kind of 70’s throwback kind of game. Just a all around Great Super Bowl.
