This is a game I'm never going to forget. It was an amazing game and it was the last NFL game I got to watch with my father. He died in April and was in the hospital during the game.

It will rank as one of the best super bowls ever, and to have it in Phoenix, where I live, was great due to the well behaved fans and their contribution to our economy. The day after the Super Bowl was Phoenix Sky Harbor's busiest day ever and lucky for the fans its rail connection to the rental car center was just opened, after years of construction.

I'm from Australia and don't know all that much about American Football, but that play where the kick returner was almost tackled in the corner on one side of the field and then somehow side-stepped and ran to almost score in the other corner diagonally opposite - that was awesome!

Both O-Lines were incredible. Only Eagles sack was just cause Hurts ran out of bounds a yard behind the line of scrimmage. Eagles line also continued a 33 streak for successful QB sneaks.

Pacheco at the seventh round. Look for the backs who can run without a line. What a steal for a beast. And look how his play blossomed once he was given a chance. Masterclass in drafting.
I'm so happy for all our rookies. Imagine getting a ring your first year--and playing as starters. What a great start to their careers. Pacheco was a steal. So glad we drafted him.

@@halenherndon1218 For Runningbacks these days, the reason for serviceable late draftess is due to their lesser dependency on their o-line or the lack thereof.
Most of the early round backs have NFL-caliber O-linemans blocking in front of them, having already gain 2-3 yards before even getting the handoffs, hence having amazing rushing stats. So Scouts are having a hard time differentiating between rushing due to O-line or simply their own capabilities. An example was Trent Richardson.
Yeah that and the position is just incredibly deep with talented players and they have the highest injury rate on the field. That’s the real reason there are good ones that go late because it’s not that valuable of a position anymore. The RB is just a plow horse these days. Austin ekler, James Robinson, Elijah Mitchell and many more weren’t even drafted. Not taking anything away from Pacheco but finding a “Pacheco” like player is a dime a dozen these days, they’re everywhere. Teams are silly if they take a running back before the 4th round. Kyle shanahan has made a living riding undrafted running backs and other coaches.

One of the things I loved the most about this game was the trust in newcomers. Pacheco on the first carry. Toney. Sky Moore with his first (I believe) TD. On the biggest stage they put the ball in the hands of the guys they’ve been cultivating all season. Confidence and trust.

Niners should have finished off Mahomes by picking him off when Mahomes threw it up for grabs on a 4th and 18 after already picking him off twice and a pick 6, but instead just stood around and watched as the Chiefs caught the duck. George Kittle was beside himself after that play.

Not going to lie. I was thinking this game might be over when Mahomes apparently reinjured the ankle and the Chiefs were sputtering in the 1st half as they headed the half down by 10. That opening drive to start the 3rd Quarter really set the tone for the Chiefs. Great game overall, and the Eagles played their hearts out too. It's too bad someone had to lose this game.

I watched him a lot while he was at Rutgers. Guy simply never quits on a play, has a ridiculously high motor, and does all the "little" things right. KC absolutely got a steal with him.

Bradberry was badly beaten, grabbed Smith-Schusters jersey and swung him around, then Bradberry grabbed Smith-Schusters shoulder, and gave a tug. Just because they don't show the entire play on these highlights does not mean it didn't happen. Watch other video of the play. If Bradberry doesn't grab Smith-Schuster TWICE, he's wide open, just like Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore were on their TD catches. Though Smith-Schuster probably would have just gotten the first down and took a knee at the 1. Just like McKinnon did on the next play. The Chiefs were talking in the huddle about just getting the first down, then taking a knee short of the goal line.

The Eagles were lights out tonight. As someone rooting for the Chiefs, I'm just glad they responded in the 2nd half. But the energy and vibe for both teams was really high tonight and it was a very competitive "coin-flip" kind of game.

Unfortunately for us, we only get to play GOAT QBs when we make the SB smh. We play Brady 2x, Mahomes. Idk if we'll be back, this was our best chance, we had all the talent you could ask for and our DC choked the game. Hurts will be better than ever though. Go Birds.

Another year gone by I am glad I didn't waste my time watching NFL. High school football 100% more fun without all the stupid woke joke crap they push. I actually tried to sit down and watch and soon as they said first time 2 African's facing off in a super bowl I was out. It was 2 Texan Americans that faced off. Man Andy Reid’s play design really won them the game when Mahomes was injured. The fact that he still was able to execute to the level he did on a bad leg is just insane. You can’t defensively account for both Andy Reid’s wild plays and the X factors like Mahomes willing to run the ball himself. What a game

What I liked most about this game is it really had a old school feel to it with both teams executing very balanced attacks and not just throwing the ball every play. Kind of 70’s throwback kind of game. Just a all around Great Super Bowl.

Oh yeah, solid tackling, great combo of runs and passes, very old school feel to this game, that's exactly what I thought. That penalty at the end was my only problem. And the lapses in coverage for those two KC touchdowns was a bit disappointing.

Excellent Super Bowl. The last couple of the years one of the teams had a HUGE advantage, but this year it was at a truly neutral site. I was not aware they could open the roof at the Phoenix stadium, so that was good too. And it was such a great game a shame someone had to lose.

Defense was bad on both ends
Before the game I said it’ would come down to Eagles’ D line vs Chiefs’ O line. Absolute masterclass by the Chiefs’ O line. Not a single sack allowed against the number one sack team in the NFL. What a game.
And then it actually came down to a phantom holding call at 1:48. Nothing to do with the line play.

It was kind of.. boring tbh. I don't know if it was the myriad of commercial breaks and stupid calls, but it just didn't have the impact for me like other super bowls.
What a performance from the Chiefs. For being down 10 at halftime and with Mahomes ankle they really stepped it up. They scored on every drive the second half. Well done by Andy Reid and the Chiefs O-Line. Congrats Chiefs!

That scramble run by Mahomes on that high sprained ankle won him the game's MVP. It was shades of Willis Reed and John Elway's scramble and dive converting on 4th down against the Packers years back. 👍👍👍

I already knew Mahomes was crazy talented, but I gained a lot of respect for him as a competitor this postseason. He showed his toughness being out there every game, bad leg and all, even running the ball in crunch time. Dude left it all out there on the field, and he absolutely deserves this win.

Yeah, the thing about that call is you can't say for sure that it won KC the game, but it also certainly helped reduce pressure on the KC defense. Eagles would have had ~1 minute and maybe some change to march down the field to at least tie it, which with the Eagles offense the way it is is enough time to come up clutch.
But it's equally possible that the Eagles fumble the ball away, get stuffed, etc. in that same amount of time. And the refs took that away, which is what I'm most upset about.
