I thought you meant essential like music everyone should own according to your opinion but it's apparently a rerelease of older albums or best of compilations. Interesting. I'll probably have to look into getting some of these myself. My cd collection is still rather small but I've been buying them since I was a teenager in 2008. I definitely would like to own all of my favorites. Plus listening by album feels nicer than a random hodgepodge of digital music sometimes. I use an mp3 player at work but having the cd for my favorite artists albums feels more secure.
